We arrived early but they allowed us to park up so we could explore. We returned at 3 to check in to our room. On arrival the reception stunk of weed. Through the corridor there was dirty linen just left . We arrived into our room to a musky smell so opened the window which helped. The tv was not working which isn’t an issue but what was is the wire was all broken and just left hanging. The toilet was not clean. Can’t comment on the local area as we used it to sleep and shower after a concert. If I was spending a few days in Manchester I wouldn’t stay again. For a quick concert and on a budget perhaps , as long as it was cleaner

Upon entering slightly early I asked if the room was available and was told 'maybe' and then after a phone call it was a no. I decided to leave and head out to Manchester centre for the night and deal with checking in later on. Upon arriving there was a horrible guest with several children running around and accusing us of breaking into the property. After this we got into our room to find multiple issues. -stains in the carpet in multiple locations -stains and holes on most walls -musty old smell -badly rusted shower All of this was a surprise since the photographs of the room made it look immaculate and a pleasant stay, obviously this wasn't the case since it was a dump and a hygiene risk. I wouldn't stay here again or even put my worst enemy here.

Don’t stop here. I booked the room for the Man Chester. The room was very expensive for the quality accommodation provided. The room was dirty including the walls, carpet and bathroom. The bed only had 1 pillow and when I asked if I could have another, the receptionist said they don’t have any extra bed pillows. The worse part was a staff member knocked on the door at 10:30pm demanding to speak to us. He stated payment was not taken through Expedia so I had to pay there and then to stay in the room. Overall the hygiene throughout the hotel was poor and they should be paying guests to stay rather than charging them.
