This hotel is located in a great area. Walking distance to stores, restaurants was so convenient. The restaurant inside the hotel has delicious food. The pool is not too big but it was still very relaxing and nice. Overall had a great stay and I would definitely stay again

Nice hotel in the Domain. Professional staff. They were in the middle of replacing all of the hallway carpet, base boards, wallpaper, and fixtures. It looked like you were walking through a house under construction in the hallway with exposed concrete walls and fixtures dangling everywhere. If I had known it is under renovation, I would have stayed elsewhere and tried the hotel during a different visit to Austin. No mention whatsoever of any renovation on here or on the hotel’s website. Staff at the front desk were very helpful, however, in relocating us to a different floor closer to being complete. Room itself was nice. Location nice.

Mo at the front desk was AMAZING!!! The property was really great. Staff super friendly. Only complaint would be the pool bar did not open until 6pm on Sunday so you had to go downstairs and carry up food or drinks. Seems silly to have a pool bar that isn't open during the day. We will stay here again for sure.

Excellent property. Customer service is a priority at this property. Great bed & bedding. Property location is questionable at first since it’s tucked into an outdoor mall. But then it’s ultra convenient to walk right out to restaurants. Can’t go wrong with Culinary Dropout. Only complaint is parking garage is pretty far trek so get ready to add $38/daily to valet if you have a car. We spent $200 to park and I would’ve rather spent that $ elsewhere. Great hotel overall.

The property is very clean and well kept both inside and out. The staff was friendly and accommodating, without exception. The room was quite comfortable and the shower facilities were outstanding. In addition to that, my wife appreciated all of the bathroom amenities. There are two large mirrors in the room suitable for the “up down” when getting ready. The location at the Domain was quiet, yet right by all of great shopping and dining options in the area. There was valet parking available plus complimentary covered garage parking adjacent to the property. Even the garage and its elevators were super clean. We chose DIY it was just fine. The king was comfy and the TV was very nice as well. We stayed on Easter weekend. All of the proud grandparents and decked out kids along with the normal crowd reflected that. It was a very nice stay in a quality property.

Loved the location once checked in, the hotel is lovely and our room was nice and spacious. The walk from self-parking in the garage to the hotel lobby is a little confusing, the sidewalk terminates on one side of the road. Would have liked to pull in to check in before parking, but the only other option from parking first appeared to be valet.

Parking is on 3rd floor in parking garage across the street. Old rooms, dirty looking bathroom floors and carpets. Bed and pillows are uncomfortable. AC was set at 65, but did not cool adequately, still felt too hot in room. Didnt notice that the bed sheets were dirty from old lipstick(wife doesn't wear lipstick) until we were leaving. Gross. Only good thing about hotel was the location.

This hotel has a serious plumbing issue. I tried to stay in 3 rooms in two days. Almost 1000 dollars spent on lodging there. Total waste of $. A bathroom drain smelling like cat pee can be caused by a few factors, including dried-out drain traps, blocked drains, or a leak in the toilet.

We have always loved the Archer. It’s has been a high quality hotel. While the customer service remains top notch the quality of the rooms is declining. I’m sure it’s just part of the aging process but after our recent stay we will be looking elsewhere.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. Everything was amazing. The hotel had a major water break which delayed our checkin, but they were very accommodating. I love this hotel because it’s very clean and has lots of shopping, eating, and entertainment in walking distance.

From the door the lobby got my attention immediately. The gorgeous, carefully planned details were remarkable. The chandelier had me at “hello” and again when we got to our room it was immaculate, the beds were perfectly spaced and I appreciated the electric blackout curtains. The artisan caramels were just the right touch. The walls seem to be extra sound proof which I appreciated, quiet and peaceful. My daughter and I both slept well.

Great area and really liked staying in the Domain. Staff was quite friendly. However, the rooms are VERY small at about 280 SF. I didn't notice that when reserving. They also have so much furniture in the room that it makes two people walking around difficult. Get rid of the bench at the foot of the bed and make the desk/chair much smaller so that the room functions better.

We chose this property for the location. The area surrounding it was great. Loved being in the middle of all the shopping and dining. The hotel itself was nice looking upon entry. The room was definitely on the smaller side for the price. The room was also incredibly muggy even with the AC going. The bathrooms have no ventilation system, so when you shower, the room fills with steam. You should not build in humid Austin without vents in the restrooms to suck out the steam, so that's why these rooms are perpetually muggy. Our room was next to a nightclub or some type of very loud venue. The music was blaring until at least 2am, and we did not sleep well. The valent when bringing our car around drove recklessly and squealed our tires twice. It was incredibly unprofessional. Great location, but not worth it.

The property was nice, great area (Domain) but unfortunately the walls were paper thin (think motel 6!). We went to have a night away from home to relax and sadly we didn’t get that. We could hear everything going on all night long, at one point it was so loud it sounded like someone was actually coming in our room. So if you do stay here, I would recommend bringing ear plugs or a sound machine

This is a gorgeous hotel in the heart of the Domain shopping/dining district. There was loud music into the night since it is not too far from a club. We weren't aware of this when we booked the room, and it would have been nice to know. It did keep us up until after midnight.

Overall the hotel was great. The balcony was cool with a fireplace and view on 2 sides. The room was spacious and well maintained. The bathroom had a nice walk-in shower and very large garden tub. However, we had issues with the air conditioner and could never get the room below 76, even at night. Without a fan it made it somewhat uncomfortable.

Unfortunately disappointed in Archer. The room had several HVAC condensers roaring outside the window. It made it very hard to relax and fall asleep at night. The TV didn’t work. Tried to call the front desk twice and no one answered. The phone in the room didn’t work so I couldn’t direct dial either. Stopped at the front desk the next morning and asked for the TV to be fixed. After another long day working I returned to the hotel and it hadn’t been addressed. On the last night, the next door neighbors were screaming at each other fighting. This continued through the night and started again first thing in the morning. I was so relieved to be heading to the airport hoping to find some peace and quiet somewhere. I was super excited about this trip and staying at Archer, however, left totally disappointed.

Extremely overpriced. Got one of the best suites and the shower never got hot, no pressure, what did spray was spraying everywhere. The valet took so long to bring my car in the morning I was late for work because he was sleeping in his car and the lady at the front desk wouldn't help me find him. Terrible.

Great hotel, great location, great service other than checking in, the lady that checked us in, at 2:57, said so many things that is not my problem rather, their management. One of those that she point out that I booked my stay from Expedia that she doesn’t have a room for my booking, that all the room with 2 queen beds all blocked. I asked, is that my problem? I have the impression that it’s not their priority if you did not booked on their website. I hope I’m wrong. Actually, I need another room for my mom and sister, right there I booked them in Hilton across the street. I did not bother to asked if they have another room for 2 people

This is our first stay at The Archer Hotel. We have stayed in the Domain area a handful of times but have never actually stayed in the Domain shopping center. This place was perfect due to the proximity to shopping/dining and easy access to the highways. This place did not disappoint. The staff was extremely attentive and courteous. Rooms were clean and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for. It is located right next to Nordstrom and walkable to many stores/restaurants if you are not looking to drive out. This sure beats the traffic staying downtown. Will definitely book this place again!

Very nice hotel, we loved our balcony, and the proximity to all the stores and restaurants was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go and didn’t have to use our car the whole day.

Archer is a fantastic hotel. The location and surrounding area is great and offers shopping and dining within walking distance. The room was great, bed was comfy and bathroom/shower was clean and nice to use. Bar and restaurant in the hotel was great as well. I'd recommend!!

We loved the Archer hotel. The hotel restaurant had amazing food, never crowded and great service. The hotel itself is gorgeous and surrounded by luxury shops, restaurants etc. The rooms were well decorated with tons of unique storage ideas. We will definitely be back.

This is a luxury hotel but there are no food or drinks options past 10pm and nothing in the mini bar. I arrived at 9:55 on a flight which unexpectedly had no dinner, checked in and the women sent me over to the bar and they had closed the register by 10:01 and could not sell me even peanuts let alone a glass of wine. No room service at night and no minibar snacks or anything.

Everything was amazing, avoid the hotel bar/restaurant. This was the only part that I was very very disappointed with. $10 fries (just plain fries nothing special). The service was the slowest despite only one other table there. Waitress was sweet though. Absolutely the worst drinks I have ever had and I like cocktails a lot lol. We ordered a $16 margarita and that is the most basic cocktail to try and get right. Just nasty. I also ordered a chilton,we didn't drink either. I go across the street to Peter Martins, happy hour is Friday. Best lemon drops, espresso and raspberry martini's. Only $8 during happy hour.

We stayed at The Archer Hotel for our anniversary. Upon check-in, Natalia asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. She must have taken note because a chilled complimentary bottle of Prosecco was delivered to our room that evening. What a treat! Dinner in their lobby restaurant was delicious too. We highly recommend The Archer hotel!

Victoria at the front desk was amazing. The bed was awesome and the blackout curtains allowed us to sleep later than normal. Breakfast in bed was just okay because the food arrived cold but it was tasty.
