Check-in was slow, he said the system was down. Only one elevator was working. The water was off for part of the evening, but came back on. Then no hot water in the morning. The reasons why I didn't review our stay lower overall was because the property is well kept considering it's a college town and those are hard to come by. Price is competitive, location is good to OSU campus, the rooms, bedding and bathroom were all clean - the breakfast offers sufficient selections. We've stayed here before, so we are hoping the water mishap was just a rare situation.

The city had a water line break and I was unable to check in. But the staff was extremely nice and professional in such a difficult situation.

Disappointed to see the condition of this relatively new property deteriorate. Elevators are filthy and the pool was half full and nasty. Like most hotels the HVAC filters need to be replaced to give a fresher cleaner smell

Outdoor pool was very clean. Lobby was nice and large. Provided coloring pages.

This facility was booked to the max. We had a hard rainstorm and 1 of our rooms on the ground got flooded out. There were no rooms available and was given towels to block the rain from coming into the room from the floor/foundation. Flood was so bad, our empty water bottle floated by the bed. In our other room, no housekeeping services for the entire time there - 4 nights. **Except last night, there were clean towels left in the room; but room was not cleaned.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Got in the po late in the afternoon. It could have been a little cleaner and there were only a couple of the very little pool towels left. Breakfast was great. Eggs meat waffles cereals and other things. Coffee was good.

The bed was thin & on wheels that could skid across the laminate floor Only 3 of the 4 wheels of the bed touched the floor like a restaurant table that you put coasters under to keep from wobbling There was an ice bucket, but no cups in the room The ice machine on our floor was broken The room was very small, approx 14 x17. For $300 per night, I expected more as I’ve stayed in many nice Hampton Inn’s over the last 20+ years. We stayed 2 nights & our room was not cleaned. We received no fresh towels the second day until I asked for them at the front desk because we apparently had to request towels and a cleaning the night before. When I asked why my room wasn’t cleaned and why I didn’t have fresh towels, the front desk pointed me to a sign located off to the side that said: ATTENTION HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE NEEDS TO BE REQUESTED THE NIGHT PRIOR I told the front desk that when I checked in, it would’ve been nice to tell me that instead of hiding the sign off to the side & that I expected more for $300/night. The buffet was OK except that at 8 AM each morning, the coffee was no better than lukewarm, as were the eggs and sausage the first day. The second day, the eggs and biscuits & gravy were warm, but the coffee still was not hot. I’ll be calling their corporate office & registering a complaint I will NEVER stay at this Hampton again.

Was not offered anything for being a Hilton member, was not allowed to check in 25 minutes before 3, had a certain kind of black ‘hair’ in the shower before we took a shower, we had no shampoo in the ‘bottle attached to the wall’, check in person was a little rude, when we did get checked in and got to our room, we had absolutely no view! It was of the ‘awning’ of the drive up by the door. I have a pic. And an internet wall outlet plate did not cover the bigger hole! And the rug inside the front door says ‘Making You Makes Us Happy. We were not happy!! Will find a different place to stay next time.

The breakfast options were good, but the cleaning staff was terrible. They didn’t change the bed sheets or covers… they never even looked in the bathroom to clean the showers. But the receptionists were good.

I reserved the room for my kids. They were in town from out of state because my dad (their grandfather) was on his deathbed. He passed away on second day of their stay and they didn’t get back to the room until midnight, only to discover their room had bedbugs. It was a nightmare scenario where they had to find a different hotel room in the middle of the night – and secure a bew set of clothes so that they didn’t contaminate the other hotel. We’re still not sure if they contaminated my now widow mother’s house. Long story but completely freaking unacceptable. A refund better be on the way and payment for their other room that they had to secure.

The hotel room was not clean. Bugs (both alive and dead) on bathroom floor. The entire bathroom floor appeared not to have been cleaned for some time. I called to report the condition of the room and was told “OK” and that was all. An hour later they called and asked us if we weren’t going to move rooms. We had been given no information and by that time it was extremely late I consulted with a manager the next morning in hopes of a future discount. He was very cold and matter of fact, and said he would not do anything. He was not even apologetic for the condition of the room.

The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was ok. The tv in the room was very annoying as the remote worked 1 out of 5 times you pushed a button. I also expected them to clean the room after the first day and bring new towels but that didn't happen. Overall not bad.

Absolutely great except extremely slow Wi-Fi. I was told they are working on it.

This place was okay but I expected much better given the rating and cost. I arrived after an 8 hr drive to discover that I had not been given a first floor room after I called the previous day and confirmed one was available and I could have it. I had my dog, who hates elevators, and that was lots of fun dragging him up and down from the second floor. I liked that they had a doggy station but it was out of bags and when I asked the front desk to replenish them, they said they would, but then didn't. I had to go back and ask again. The room was huge but the layout was terrible. The bed was on one end of the room and the couch on the other. In the middle was a big desk that had a TV with a stand. Each time I wanted to watch the TV on the bed or on the couch, I had to turn the heavy TV around to face the other direction. It wasn't the worst place I ever stayed, but I highly doubt I'll stay there again.

Terrible - nasty - manager & front desk rude - gave 3 in our wedding party rooms that were already booked someone else & when we went to front desk they rude & acted like our fault - breakfastgood - location good - but employees terrible terrible & didn’t wear uniforms - couldn’t tell help from people staying there - never again

The hotel cancelled my reservation and did not notify me until I arrived to check in. I want to know if I will still be charged due to the hotel cancelling my reservation after hotels.com’s cancelation deadline.

The hotel was fine. The staff was rude, uncaring, and generally poor.

Was on the road very late and afraid we might lose our reservation. When I called the front desk, which was Max who answered at the time, to let them know we were running behind schedule, he assured me there was no worry we should be good and then he let the night shift know as well. He was so helpful and friendly. We had no troubles checked in and getting into our rooms even at 1:00am in the morning.

Got put next to the elevator and feared it would be loud, but it was not! Rooms are pretty simplistically designed but clean and comfortable. Lobby and breakfast were nice. Quick drive to campus. Staff was nice. I forgot my clothes when I left. They didn’t call because since I booked through a 3rd party site they supposedly “didn’t have my personal info.” So, they put my clothes in the lost and found and are holding them for me to pick up (easier than mailing though they offered). Good stay but nothing super cool or exciting - but if you checked out the pics or reviews, you probably expect as much.

Eating area needed to be bigger with more tables. A huge group was staying at the hotel and took over eating area just to socialize, so there was no spots for people who wanted to eat breakfast.

Excellent front desk and custodial staff. Excellent breakfast attendants as well. Very hospitable.

Very friendly support staff all around the hotel. The breakfast was hot and good. My favorite is always the waffles and it was delicious.
