This is a nice hotel for first timer. Room is clean and comfortable. Food have good selection. The public bath is nice. I enjoyed the outdoor bath at Yunessun more and it is included. Will come again.

Amazing experience in all aspects of our stay. The staff were very friendly and attentive, onsen experience was very enjoyable and the food choice/quality at dinner and breakfast was excellent. Our room with the open air bath was also brilliant. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Hakone in the future.

Excellent service. Remarkable onsen (hot spring) experience especially the outdoor ones, one near a waterfall at a natural slope, the other at the roof top with panoramic view of the skyline against mountain ranges. Very good meals too.

We really don’t understand how this hotel can be so highly recommended. The bathing area felt more like an old swimming pool or an amusement park for children than a relaxing hotel spa. The whole place felt dated, and there was an unpleasant old smell in the main swimming pool area. There were also very few proper outdoor areas where you could sit, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. Most disappointing of all, we felt that the photos online were not representative of the hotel in reality. We had completely different expectations based on what we saw when booking. We were so disappointed when we arrived that we didn’t even want to stay, despite having already paid for our booking. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.
