Decent hotel. However, it was quite inconvenient to have one of the two elevators not working. Also, it would've been nice if we had a welcome packet in our room instead of having to try to memorize the information at the front desk. But all in all, a decent value for the price.

Beautifully renovated older building. Very clean and comfortable - and close to the Metro. Will definitely stay here again!

The Architect was a charming, small hotel in an excellent location. The bedroom was small, but the bathroom (especially the shower) was amazing. The staff was very helpful and let us check our bags until it was time for our flights.

Good hotel for the price. The hotel is old and the room was small. The hotel is near the White House and museums so that was a plus.

Excellent location for getting around town, terrible location for the only ice machine in a basement and I also contracted bed bugs 😡 that’s why there was a pest control truck parked outside one day didn’t give it any thought to maybe later on that’s why they were there 😔
