Room close to lift so very noisy For a king room the bathroom was tiny and very hard to move in it. Other than that hotel was nice Didn’t have breakfast but coffee in reception today served by a lovely friendly man was lovely Reception staff lovely too VERY slow lift. Ok for us on floor 1 but some of our friends on 7 had a lot of steps as 20 mins plus for lift not great

Our room had a blocked basin, badly fitting toilet seat, broken mirror, rust around the taps and shower screen. The room was dated and shabby for a 4 star hotel and badly needs refurbishment. On top of which the only lift to the car park was broken and as i am someone who clearly has mobility issues i was told the only access was down a flight of stairs.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The plus points were, the view from the upgraded room we were offered by the hotel was excellent and in air conditioning worked. it is also ideal for exploring the Hoe. The downsides were: - The advertised EV charging points were removed the week before - The headroom in the shower was terrible if you are taller than 5'8" - The selection of drinks in the bar was terrible and the quality of food at breakfast was poor.

Another amazing stay at this central hotel. So close to the Barbican. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. If I had to find a negative it would be that the breakfast is no different to a premier inn. It feels cheap compared to the incredible offerings in the same restaurant for an evening meal. It has a huge selection however the quality feels cheap imo
