LOVED STAYING HERE!! We were only there for one night and I wished it was longer. Hotel is beautiful and staff was excellent. Our room was amazing - we had the large tub - but even without, I thought the space was great. Often the pics don’t match the reality but here they did! Everything felt new and clean, and we loved that our dog could stay for free. Some reviews mention the neighborhood not being the most ideal, so I was expecting things to be sketchy and I did not feel that way at all. Amoeba Music is a block away, along with a ton of other shopping, restaurants etc - and it’s only a short walk to Sunset. I thought the location was pretty great! Maybe not the perfect spot for dog walking if your dog needs grass but there was a residential area around the corner that worked for us!

Location was convenient with lots accessible within a 10-15 minute Uber ride. The first day the pool was not available due to a paid “pool party” where children were not allowed. Our room overlooked the freeway (all the Hollywood sign) rooms do with a bit of freeway noise. Walking to Thai Town we encountered many homeless people.

We had a great family stay for our weekend in Hollywood. The beds were comfortable, view of the Hollywood sign was great, no freeway noise, cleaned our rooms every day, and a fun pool. The hotel was having a pool party on the Sunday of our trip so that was a nice spot to hit up on our last day. The only small complaint was the shower water pressure as it was a bit light.

I just did a "Staycation" at the Kimpton Everly (I live in LA) and it was a very nice place to end the Labor Day weekend. Very clean and cool accommodations...beautiful views over Hollywood or towards the Hollywood sign. We could enjoy with our dog and the staff was great. Alex and Brandon were super-helpful when we checked in and when leaving. Desk people were also great. We really had a relaxing time and enjoyed the pool on the 5th floor that also has views over the city

Its a nice hotel, great location for going to the Hollywood bowl. We had an issue with the sliding door lock, they fixed it quickly and the wine they gave us for the inconvenience made us happy. They had wine included for a sort of happy hour when we went, that was a nice perk. Nice full bar with an Italian restaurant downstairs was convenient.

This property was in a great location in Hollywood and the amenaties were sufficient. Food was great, pool was small but well looked after and had comfy lounging. The only complaint i have is the cost of parking being the mosg expensive O have paid anywhere in the world.

This was my second time staying here and I would definitely come back. The staff was incredibly friendly, informative and hospitable. I love the ambience, as well as the sort of community that congregates near the bar for wine/champagne tastings and finger foods. The only area which could use improvement, albeit minor, is the maintenance of the men’s bathroom by the bar. I was there for 9 days and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t cleaned once. The same stains below the urinal collected to the point you leave with sticky shoes. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant and would still recommend it to to people.

Lovely property however, a little more TLC to maintenance would be great. A few examples, safety hand bar and shower and cap bent and hanging large crack in sink and drain holes were extremely dirty. All edges of room were dirty and definitely in need of vacuuming. However, the carpet areas were clean.

The service was great but the hotel itself needs some updating and carpet cleaned. Lobby is nice but rooms are dingy and dirty. Pool area is dirty - especially towards the end of the day. Hotel restaurant looked good but didn’t try. Went to Jemma which wasn’t good. Very touristy. Touristy area. Close to Griffith’s Observatory which is nice for a run.

Nice lobby. Dirty rooms. Had to move rooms and the second wasn't any better. Definitely not what I expect from a Kimpton property in terms of cleanliness. And I shouldn’t be in the room of a four star hotel afraid to touch things because I feel like everything is dirty. The night valet was also very rude letting it be known how inconvenient it was for him that everyone came back at the same time of night with their cars. I’m paying almost $67 a night to park my car there, I should be able to bring it back whenever I happen to come back without the terrible attitude. The daytime valets were awesome though so at least it was just limited to the one person and not all of them.

Room was nice but the walls were scuffed and dirty, the door to the fridge wouldn't close all the way, the closet door wouldn't close all the way, and the signal to the tv would blink out and lose reception randomly. The spa shower was lovely and the view was great

The staff and service were excellent. We stayed in a suite (1420) but the a/c did not work very well. The room decor could definitely use some work. There was one small framed print over the bed, off to one side. There were 3-4 papers with “clip art” type drawings hung up by thumbtacks?? The bathroom was very nice. Large shower and free standing tub. There was not a coffee service in the room. There was a small fridge. No closet but a free standing armoire with a small safe and ironing board. The view of the Hollywood sign was nice.

It has good walkable access to stars and Chinese theatre etc. you can see the Hollywood sign but sadly on the other side of the building anc not poolside which it looks like in photos. Staff is great and you can txt what you need. They check on you everyday.

The hotel itself was pretty, the room itself looked better in photos, lots of wear on the room we were placed in. You can see cracks and lots of areas that that been repaired in the ceiling, the desk and furniture had chips and wear. The restroom/shower was the best part of the room. Comfortable stay wasn't happy with the room for the price.

The front desk staff was so friendly and efficient. The bar staff was excellent as well. We felt welcomed and comfortable here.

The Kimpton Everly is a great hotel! The lobby is large and inviting, we played billiards several times and met some other travelers. The manager of Jane Q restaurant, Dani, was spectacular. Dani’s excellent customer service and friendliness were the reasons we visited th restaurant 3 times!

I actually booked the wrong Kimpton Hotel while I was in LA for a wedding, however our experience was incredible from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The Kimpton Everly had fantastic staff as well as amenities. I would like to shout out Thomas at the coffee restaurant in the hotel “Jane Q “ His customer service and addressing me by name whenever I saw him was an absolute joy and would make me book this hotel again. I will say the area is walkable and has more touristy things around it but I was not interested in them. The only complaint I would have is no complimentary water in the room.

Lovely hotel, clean, walkable to the town area, nice rooms with big comfortable beds & nice bathroom. great staff in the cafe & bar area, but lowered the rating because of poor staff on reception, asked for a coffee machine for our room, but it never turned up, asked again the following evening & also for some plates, waited an hour, but still didn’t arrive, so had to go & chase up. On checkout with checked out bill or be it it was after we had left, we found we had a charge we didn’t recognise, which wasn’t on our invoice & also our refund for the nightly deposit (150) hadn’t been realised, it actually took 3 days to go back on our card, where’s the last hotel we’d been in, was refunded straight away! So I emailed them asking & they said it could take upto 7 days depending on the card used & the didn’t even bother giving me an answer about the extra charge we had. So unfortunately that let it down for us!!

LOVED STAYING HERE!! We were only there for one night and I wished it was longer. Hotel is beautiful and staff was excellent. Our room was amazing - we had the large tub - but even without, I thought the space was great. Often the pics don’t match the reality but here they did! Everything felt new and clean, and we loved that our dog could stay for free. Some reviews mention the neighborhood not being the most ideal, so I was expecting things to be sketchy and I did not feel that way at all. Amoeba Music is a block away, along with a ton of other shopping, restaurants etc - and it’s only a short walk to Sunset. I thought the location was pretty great! Maybe not the perfect spot for dog walking if your dog needs grass but there was a residential area around the corner that worked for us!

Nice hotel, but horrible location. The surrounding area is filthy, piles of human and/or dog feces everywhere. Homeless encampment around the corner. I lived in Hollywood for 8 years and I wasnt even comfortable walking anywhere. No fault of the hotel, but the neighborhood is awful. Not somewhere you want to vacation.

Location was convenient with lots accessible within a 10-15 minute Uber ride. The first day the pool was not available due to a paid “pool party” where children were not allowed. Our room overlooked the freeway (all the Hollywood sign) rooms do with a bit of freeway noise. Walking to Thai Town we encountered many homeless people.

Great location for all that we wanted to do like Walk of fame, Griffith Park, downtown LA (close to Hollywood/Vine metro), comedy club (a quick Uber to West Hollywood). Nice lobby hangout, yummy pizzas at their restaurant and great city view from our room. Would stay here again.

I loved staying here! everyone was nice & the hotel was clean. My only complaint is that the in room dining sucks. I called like 5 times for a pizza, and the phone would just ring and ring and no one answered. Then I called the front desk, and they transferred me, placed my order and it was never delivered. Other than that, it was great.

Man everything was cool except for the food at the restaurant especially for the prices they're charging the salad was very basic and the pasta I ordered was clearly not the right one and they thought I wouldn't notice just because they added some garlic flavoring and that pizza small and burnt compared to all the other ones I watched them make so kitchen 1 star that's why it's not a full five

Hotel was just fine - we expected more for the price point.it was clean but nothing stood up as « really nice ». No toiletries available in room (not even a cotton swab) , but you can get if you ask … but you have to ask for every item you want/need. The restaurant has a very limited menu and only true option for kids is overpriced ball of pasta … food took over 45 min for a salad and 2 servings of pasta. But the food tasted nice.

Everything, from the time of our arrival to our departure we enjoyed our time at the Kimpton Everly. We appreciated their accommodating an early check-in. The room was beautiful, clean, and a great view of the city and most important the rooftop pool. We had a pool day, ordered delicious from JaneQ and had a fabulous time. We decided to stay at the Everly for dinner too, and JaneQ's pizza, pasta, and dessert was yummy. Bonus was the jazz and on point drinks at the bar during the evening. The entire stay was amazing, thank you. Side note, the area is to be expected of any big city, homeless, dirty, etc., but Hollywood Blvd was just 2 blocks away, Pantages Theatre is walking distance. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Our room had a wonderful view of the city and was well appointed except for no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lovey lounge, great cafe downstairs for breakfast. The only thing missing was fine dining or at least high end appetizers in the lounge!
