Overall I was pretty happy with our stay. I think it may be one of the best options in Wildwood. It was a little more than I had intended on spending but worth it. It’s a mid-sized hotel which I think is just right. The location was perfect. The beach is across the street and parks on either side. One had a stage with music a couple times a week and the other had an outdoor workout area, playground, and splash pad. There is a bike rental about a block away and a sidewalk that runs along the beach and connects to the boardwalk a little over a mile away. The pool was a decent size and ranged from around 3 or 4 ft to 9 ft. There was also a separate shallow kiddie pool. I always hate parking in vacation areas because spots are limited and other guests often aren’t considerate enough to park within the lines but the front desk assured me there were enough spots for the rooms. There were spaces on each side of the hotel as well as garage parking underneath. I did notice some vehicles that parked over the lines as I expected but I was able to find parking each night despite it so I was satisfied. Our room was up-to-date and roomy enough for 2 people. There was a small table w/chairs, refrigerator, 40+ inch TV, and balcony w/chairs. The only negatives were you couldn’t control the fan on the thermostat and it was loud when the ac would kick on, our room was near the elevator and next to the housekeeping room so it was noisy in the morning, and you had to wait for elevators.

Our stay was relaxing and stress free , the staff at the Port Royal are so friendly and welcoming, it was so great to be able to stay poolside for a few hours after we had checked out , I’ve stayed here before and it’s really the only hotel that I know everything will be perfection

Very relaxing vacation, very clean newly renovated rooms. Nice pools and the fire pit at night is a really nice touch. Would gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends and will stay here again when visiting Wildwood Crest!

My family of 5, (kids 6, 4, and 9m) had a wonderful stay. The hotel is convenient to bike rentals, splash pad, playground and Centennial Park where they have free concerts every Wed and Saturday evening's. The pool and outside area are great and the hotel food was delish! We love the outside dining for breakfast/lunch!

Location cannot be beat. Right on the free beach and next to a playground and splash park. Loved the shallow kids’ pool and on site restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to check in at 11 instead of 4 pm. Rooms were a bit small but balcony was nice. Overall had a great stay and locals in the area also told me this was the best hotel here.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Right on beach. Nice pool are. Adequate parking. Very clean, safe and relaxing community. It is a dry town but restaurants allow BYOB. Also short drive to restaurants outside the town where there are bars.

From check in to check out this hotel did not disappoint! Our room was beautiful. We loved the balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool was nice. We really loved the restaurant in the hotel and used the pick up window often for mid day snacks. The food was really good! The staff were so friendly. Great location near the beach and the boardwalk entry is about a 10 minute walk. Loved this place so much and will be coming back!

Overall the stay was nice for my husband and the view of ocean was great from the room and balcony . The only disappointment I could not regulate the temperature in the room and it was chilly and I had to asked for extra blankets 🙁 I think you should be able to regulate temperatures in room everyone feels differently in there room and I like to be able to change the temperature .

The rooms are tiny and on top of each other. We could hear the folks in the next room who were speaking in normal tones as clear as day. To make matters worse, the mattress was like a brick. Most uncomfortable stay I’ve ever had in a hotel!

Overall I was pretty happy with our stay. I think it may be one of the best options in Wildwood. It was a little more than I had intended on spending but worth it. It’s a mid-sized hotel which I think is just right. The location was perfect. The beach is across the street and parks on either side. One had a stage with music a couple times a week and the other had an outdoor workout area, playground, and splash pad. There is a bike rental about a block away and a sidewalk that runs along the beach and connects to the boardwalk a little over a mile away. The pool was a decent size and ranged from around 3 or 4 ft to 9 ft. There was also a separate shallow kiddie pool. I always hate parking in vacation areas because spots are limited and other guests often aren’t considerate enough to park within the lines but the front desk assured me there were enough spots for the rooms. There were spaces on each side of the hotel as well as garage parking underneath. I did notice some vehicles that parked over the lines as I expected but I was able to find parking each night despite it so I was satisfied. Our room was up-to-date and roomy enough for 2 people. There was a small table w/chairs, refrigerator, 40+ inch TV, and balcony w/chairs. The only negatives were you couldn’t control the fan on the thermostat and it was loud when the ac would kick on, our room was near the elevator and next to the housekeeping room so it was noisy in the morning, and you had to wait for elevators.

Location cannot be beat. Right on the free beach and next to a playground and splash park. Loved the shallow kids’ pool and on site restaurant. Staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to check in at 11 instead of 4 pm. Rooms were a bit small but balcony was nice. Overall had a great stay and locals in the area also told me this was the best hotel here.

Port Royal is located at the southern end of the Wildwoods. The towns have an awesome bike path along the ocean and the strip of hotels. You can ride bikes on the boardwalk until 1 pm.

From check in to check out this hotel did not disappoint! Our room was beautiful. We loved the balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool was nice. We really loved the restaurant in the hotel and used the pick up window often for mid day snacks. The food was really good! The staff were so friendly. Great location near the beach and the boardwalk entry is about a 10 minute walk. Loved this place so much and will be coming back!

On check-in, Front desk could not answer any of our questions. They lacked even basic info about hotel. They announced our room number to the entire lobby. Unnecessary and a Security issue. Hotel reeks of mustiness and mold. Breakfast at hotel rest. Was excellent. Server was superb.

The only reason I Rated the property condition and facilities with a 4 is because we arrived at the hotel on the second day of its opening for the the season. Understandingly all amenities were not fully ready and available for customer use. All that being said, “the staff” from management and front desk, to the domestic help, maintenance crew, and cafe staff, were very pleasant, helpful, and considerate. We would absolutely consider returning for future visits.

My family of 5, (kids 6, 4, and 9m) had a wonderful stay. The hotel is convenient to bike rentals, splash pad, playground and Centennial Park where they have free concerts every Wed and Saturday evening's. The pool and outside area are great and the hotel food was delish! We love the outside dining for breakfast/lunch!

An updated hotel with plenty of friendly staff and very clean rooms. It is well-kept and has lots of seating in the pool area. The restaurant has good food and friendly staff. We were very pleased with our stay.
