Wingate Houston near NRG Park/Medical Center

The room was awful! Fridge didn't work! Parking for guest was unavailable basically due to Rodeo... should at least have parking available for guests.

Useless front desk personnel; closest elevator out of service and the only other one is at the far end of the building; no desk lamp; no body lotion; terrible lounge chair; big red stain in rug next to bed; at 7:45, all the breakfast food was decimated...no bread for toast, no sausage left, no milk for cereal, coffee almost gone, no eating utensils, just unbelievable, and nobody around to fix it. To make matters worse, when leaving, my Lyft driver told me that reviews say the place has bedbugs! Just don't even think about it. Gruesome place.

Had to transfer to a different room 3x. 1st room was extremely hot, a giant roach crawled on my daughter as she sat on the floor taking her shoes off (no apologies), no refrigerator. Moved to 2nd room and it was just as hot. 1st I was told the room temp was controlled by the unit on wall not the actual ac. WRONG. Then I Was told the room needed time to cool down. Temp got to 69 and then would turn off and go up to 76. Finally moved to 3rd room and was the most decent. The elevators were staying open, not closing. When you got in after the door finally closed and pressed the up button it closed and NEVER moved. It rained and all the water was flooding into a room by the door and even worse when you opened the door to parking lot. Breakfast!?? It was a joke. Literally only 3 things to choose from soggy eggs, sausage links or Cheerios. The pool!?? Full of algae! Don’t even bother trying to swim. The nicest thing about this place was the lobby sitting area. They only get customers cause they are a 10 min walk to the NRG stadium. Don't waste your money!

My stay was horrible and I feel I deserve a refund. My first room had roaches and bugs in it and the refrigerator did not work. They moved me to another room and I still had bugs and stuff on the room. The staff never called me back after they talked to the manager to let me know if I would get compensated. My shower leaked the entire time I was there. Someone came to fix it and never came back. I really feel I deserve a refund
