This is a really neat property, historic building that's been remodeled with a modern flare, but retaining some of the building's original charm. Breakfast was better than the average continental breakfast, staff was generally friendly and helpful. One block from the riverwalk, so lots to see and do nearby including the Milwaukee Market. Cons: There's really no parking, we had to valet and it was quite expensive. Additionally the building sits right off the highway and also on a very active downtown street. Our room was extremely noisy, we would not have been able to sleep without earplugs.

Staff was great. Room was very large and comfortable. Gym was functional. Are has tons to do. Restaurants, entertainment and bars are everywhere. Really enjoyed getting food across the street at Milwaukee Market and bring it back to the room. The only negative was the noise at night. The slingshots and motorcycles were obnoxious until 2:30 am every night. Made for an unpleasant experience. The area is extremely crowded on weekends. We are in our 60’s and pretty open minded, but probably won’t go back to Milwaukee. One and done. It’s a young person’s town.

Really nice hotel, spacious rooms. Great location with easy walk to downtown Milwaukee attractions. Splash pad in basement was really fun for kids. Easy access to the highway. Would stay again!

Covered parking is across the street for $25/night. They do have an area at the front door for drop off and pick up. Room was really big and nice. Even though it's located on a relatively busy intersection it was really quiet. The bed and room temp were very comfortable. Breakfast was at the top end of free breakfasts.

Parking isn’t convenient. No on site parking. There is a lot across the street but you have to pay every time you leave the garage. Very expensive. Breakfast was a fiasco. Too many people, not enough food. Location was fabulous as was the room.

The hotel was very clean and so was our room. Very comfortable bed also. The only downside is the parking. It is in a garage that is not attached and crossing the alley late at night as a single woman would have been creepy. Otherwise all was good.

Overall, we liked this hotel stay. Great service from the staff. We chose a corner room for the view. Knowing this hotel was by the freeway, we knew it might be a view of the freeway and it was. The windows are large and beautiful and would have been so much more impressive if they had been washed. They were so dirty it was hard to see out of them. The main surfaces of the room were clean and the bedding was fresh, but there are large window sill that were dusty and the bathroom floor was not clean. The room is well decorated and the features are so beautiful, but the "wow' factor lost points with those housekeeping and maintenance issues.

There were stains on the sheets and when I showed a picture to the front desk, they didn't even apologize. They charged us twice for parking. Once on the bill and when we left the self parking lot.

Beautiful room and hotel but we did not receive any room cleaning during the 4 days we were here. We ran out of towels and the front desk person said she was the only one there and could not bring more towels. We also had no body wash or lotion in the bathroom containers.

Cleaning staff was overwhelmed and late turning the rooms. We found a pair of glasses on the floor by the bed and new clothes tags on the floor. So if it was vacuumed they didn’t do well

This hotel is conveniently located near the Third Ward area and within walking distance of lots of bars and restaurants. It's a great area of the city. The reason we didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel is that when we arrived, the toilet had not been cleaned. For the price of the room, I totally expect the bathroom to be clean. We spoke to the manager who asked if we wanted her to clean it herself as no one else was on staff. We agreed and left the hotel, returning a short time later. It was never cleaned and there was no follow-up. The entire visit felt uncomfortable after that. We would not return to this hotel as there are better options for the price.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. While this room is advertised as accommodating up to four people, it really doesn’t accommodate more than three. The pull out bed was small slightly larger than a twin) and the mattress was worn out - you could feel the springs through. My daughter ended up sharing the king bed with my husband and I while my son took the sofa bed.

Loved the 1 bedroom, only downfall was the bathroom was in the bedroom area, so with having two other people in the main area was kind of awkward having them come in the room in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Also, the pullout couch was the worst probably ever… like sleeping on the floor probably would’ve been more comfortable

Overall the room was nice. Unfortunately, the highway and street noise is too much, all through the nite. Ceiling fan in the bedroom didn’t work. Electric closing curtains didn’t work. Didn’t realize there was no house keeping even though a sign on the table said snacks and refreshments were replenished daily.

I loved that this place had a kitchenette and a large refrigerator. Free breakfast was a nice plus so we didn't have to spend extra money although we could have bought stuff to make our food. Within walking distance of the public market.

Check in was terrible. A lobby full of people and nobody at the desk. And when they did come out they ignored everyone and were fighting with each other. It made us late to our show. It did seem as though they were trying but it was all around just unprofessional. The property and room was beautiful though and clean and comfortable. We would stay again if we knew that the service wouldn’t be as bad as it was.

Over all it was a great hotel & location, it was clean, comfortable beds & pillows, good breakfast buffet. We would stay again. We did have 2 complaints: 1- The front desk told me at Check in parking would be comped at Check out & they have us a map to the garage that even said on it that the front desk would give you voucher at Check out, at Check out they said that wasn't the case & we had to pay $75 for parking. This could've been an employee training issue but they should have comped it anyway since they supplied false information we could have gone to a cheaper garage. 2 - One of the elevators wasn't working properly it would stop mid floor during travel, jerk a bunch & then get stuck for minutes not at a floor & the doors wouldn't open. After the 2nd time we started using a different elevator. We told the front desk about this happening to us twice to 2 different employees (they acted as if they knew the jerking was a common issue) It should have been shut down & serviced, as this is a huge safety concern. No signage was ever posted.

The third shift guest services were ridiculously rude when I asked them about parking. My husband and I are from out of town so we don't know about the area or parking and they literally said "I'm 50 I don't don't shi** about what time clubs close round here or if y'all can park on the street" it was completely uncalled for to be sworn at and talked to like that when we don't know anything about the area.

Great inside and out! Clean, well-maintained updated decor. Perfect location near marketplace, restaurants, bars, interstate, etc. We were able to walk everywhere! Parking garage across street. All was absolutely perfect, would 100% stay again.

Location, building, and rooms are fabulous. Staffing, not so much. I had to call three times (and spend ten minutes on hold without getting an answer during one call) just to update my reservation. Breakfast is advertised for 6-9am but by 8:30 they were out of yogurt, juice and fruit. I travel a lot and was both surprised and miffed that Hilton is so sloppy with the basics at this location.

Room was great, hotel was beautiful. The 2 men in charge of the breakfast did not do well keeping things stocked. Juices were empty, breads were empty, and the sausage and eggs were very low. Did not see them stock anything the entire time we sat in breakfast area. They just hung out in back room. Very disappointing.

Check in and check out was easy. Polite and professional staff. Breakfast included lots of options. The breakfast and common areas were clean and welcoming and look /design was very pleasing. The suite exceeded my expectations offering a spacious room with amenities and large comfortable bed, and decor/esthetic is a great addition giving it a very sophisticated/modern downtown feel. Will be staying here again.

I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The room was so cute a with high, exposed painted ceilings and wood and carpet flooring that made it homey. Bret was very helpful, and told us about the Hop for free and easy transportation to local venues. The breakfast items could have been replenished proactively, and the gel fireplace turned on since it was cold outside.
