There was no breakfast included but did have an excellent coffee machine in the lobby. Parking was valet off-site where someone parked a car in front of our car and took their keys making a 30 minute delay in leaving to find the car’s owner to move it.

This hotel is located in a busy area. The downside is parking may not be available on site - the person who checked in before us got the last spot. We were able to park in front of the hotel while checking in and checking out,but needed to park down the road in UQAM parking. It was less than a 5 minute walk, but I can see that being troublesome for some folks. The staff were pleasant to deal with. I appreciated the coffee in the lobby 24/7. No continental breakfast, but there's plenty of other options. Was a 3 minute walk to the concert venue we went to (MTelus) and even at 1:30am when I went to the Deppaneur (convenience store), I felt safe on that busy street. People were polite in the area, minded their own business and I didn't see or feel like I was around anyone sketchy. Would stay here again, for sure!

Very convenient walk to the MTELUS for a show we were going to see. Valet parking was wonderful, and a nice option. Kurig coffee makers in the lobby were absolutely wonderful and available 24 hours throughout the day! Breakfast was made to order and tasted great. Definitely a great place to stay in the city.

The Valet underground parking was a great benefit. It was an ease to know the car was safe and secure. This was especially true as the surrounding area was populated with homeless trying to take anything that wasn’t tied down or locked. Hotel was only a 10 min walk to Berri Metro Stn. From there you could get to anywhere in the city. Grab a free coffee/tea in the lobby before you walk to China Town (5-10mins). I would stay here again. The Staff were friendly and informative.

Found a live house centipede in the bathroom mat within 10 minutes of checking in. The room was 24 degrees when I got to my room to sleep and it was very very hot all night so wish the air conditioning was working before. Some of the pillow cases seem like a weird waterproof like plastic fabric and super uncomfortable. The staff was great but the condition of the room and hotel was not at all what I expected based on the reviews and pictures.

The hotel location downtown Montreal was perfect, and close to restaurants and Subway. The valet parking was straightforward I’m super helpful. The coffee machines at the lobby made quality machine brewed coffee. The staff were nice and helpful. Although the room was super clean, the smell of cleaning chemicals was overwhelming, and the same for the lobby. I suggest using mild chemicals. Also, please make herbal tea available. All in all we are very satisfied with our stay.

Dirty. Room was not vacuumed nor dusted once during our 3 night stay. Bathroom was not cleaned. Towels not replaced. Lobby was also dirty, including the coffee station and water dispenser.

Bathroom smelled like sewer as the toilet base was leaking sewer gas. We had to request that the toilet be replaced and it was that day, thankfully. However, the room itself was very clean. We found there were really no places for our luggage other than one small luggage rack.

Overall, it was an “okay” experience. My fiancé and I stayed for one night while in town for a hockey game at the Bell Centre. 1. Parking. Upon arrival, the parking garage was full so they sent us up the street to park. It was just under a 10 minute walk. Staff was not super helpful in providing the address of the new lot. 2. Cleanliness. There was a film on the tile floor in our room. Otherwise, it was clean. 3. Thermostat. Not able to adjust the temperature in the room as it is “locked”. Not able to turn the fan on. Staff tried to help but did not improve it. Hotel was extremely hot and made it uncomfortable. For the price, it is what you would expect but the parking was the biggest inconvenience for us.

Most of the front desk staff were personable, engaging and really fun to speak with throughout different shifts/times of the day. The issues experienced were the potent scent of Pinesol or a cleaning agent/solution that hit me and my friends upon entrance of our rooms and lingered in the hallways as well. In one of the rooms the cleaning agent/solution remained in the room throughout the three night stay it was so potent. I even got a headache. Also, one of the rooms I had booked had an issue with the window that was never fixed. The window was ajar just enough that you could hear the noise of emergency vehicles or other random commotion throughout the night and early mornings interrupting our sleep. In one of the rooms the shower head clip was degraded/compromised, so the shower head at times would fall from being in place above the head as I showered.

The hotel was very nice, the room was comfortable and it was nice to have a window that opened. The lobby coffee machines were a real bonus and the microwave was good to have too!. Just a couple of gripes, no smart tv! So was stuck with old cable and the remote was terrible. The wifi logged out every so often which was annoying. We took a star of the amenities for this.

You have incredible front desk staff! Especially a young lady with blond hair. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. The only thing missing was I kept being given decaf coffee in the room when I would have preferred fully caffeinated.

Upon checking in the young lady at the reception desk was having an issue with another customer about a double booking of a room.She was busy trying to fix the situation and it was time consuming.No other employee to help her so myself and 3 other pairs of people had to wait 30 minutes before we could check in.Then I asked about where to park our vehicle.She then charged me for valet parking and were told that the gentleman would be right back.So another 15 minutes later I asked if we could self park .Oh yes you can but the gentleman had to move things around for us to do that.Finally we left to go out and see some sights. I have never waited so long for valet parking and then to find out we could self park was very frustrating to us. I shouldn’t have to be charged for valet parking that wasn’t a bit more prompt.It definitely has left me not feeling like customer service was not a priority at this hotel😡

I had a great stay at this location which is close to a lot of tourist attractions and activities, plus lots of restaurant options nearby. Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. My new go to stay in Montreal.

Easy walk to old Montreal. Parking garage very tight but nice free charging and also locked up always so felt safe. Area around the property a bit dodgy, but we walked back at night on Rue St Laurent and it felt much safer than Rue Hotel de ville even though that’s a more direct route.

The location is great and the staff were absolutely lovely. The room was big and had everything I needed. The public areas are great as well, and having free coffee available in the lobby is a fantastic touch. Only potential downside is that the area around the hotel doesn't look very appealing. I'm from a big city myself so I'm used to it and I didn't feel unsafe, but it is quite run down. Still, for the price, location and staff, I would definitely stay there again.

The restaurant was really bad. The food was bland and literally unseasoned. We also witnessed thieves trying to pick up hidden loot from some kind of hidden cache in the park behind the hotel. We recorded some of it.

They property is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Lobby is comfortable, and they have a great coffee machine with many options. The area outside, which is not in their control, is not the cleanest. Evenings I didn't particularly feel safe. The restaurant, Da Giovanni is very good. Great pizzas.

The best thing about our room was a window that could open!! Street was quiet. It would have been nice to have a breakfast, felt more like a Best Western, maybe not a Plus! Staff was very helpful.

Le restaurant Dagiovanni est fermé le lundi. Je n’ai pas pu manger au restaurant le soir de mon arrivée. Il faudrait informer les voyageurs des heures d’ouverture du restaurant de l’hôtel. La chambre était correcte mais il n’était pas possible de contrôler la température de la chambre. C’était un élément important pour mon confort qui a manqué. Le lendemain matin, j’avais pris le forfait déjeuner hélas ce fut une erreur car le personnel au restaurant était vraiment déficient à cause du manque de service. Le déjeuner était très mauvais voire immangeable. L’omelette baignait dans du gras. Les patates étaient à moitié réchauffées et les toasts on voyait le beurre froid non fondu. Aucune confiture ni beurre d’arachide m’a été servi. Le café était aussi mauvais. C’est une première et dernière fois que je loue une chambre d’hôtel à cet endroit.
