Great hotel! For our stop back to Houston from Colorado, Wichita Falls was a great stopping point and this hotel was great. Dog friendly and even has a dog park in the back which is more than the small patch of grass at most hotels. Very friendly staff and clean, nice hotel. Nice bfast also. Safe and close to places to eat and stores. No complaints

Nice property right off the freeway. We could not find a parking spot for there were so many trucks with trailers that filled up the parking lot. The freeway noise is very loud if your room faces the freeway.

Very easy check-in. Loved the pool stayed open till 11pm and that it was indoors. Convenient to interstate and local grocery and dining. Staff was very nice and everywhere we stepped was very clean. From the hotel lobby to the room.

They have an indoor pool, but it's not heated. I assumed it would be heated since the point of an indoor pool is to be able to use it year-round. That is my only complaint. Everything else about this property was wonderful.

Stopped for the night when traveling home from Colorado. The hotel was so cutely designed and well-managed. The front desk clerk was very welcoming and helpful. Pool is open from 6A-11p…it’s small, but indoors and clean!

The receptionist was cery nice as always. The room however was extremely dirty. The walls of shower still had conditioner stuck to it. The floors were dirty. There is some kind of spot on wall with tv. Overall, friendly staff but room was disgusting.

Checkin was backed up because the hotel only had one person working, but once I got to the desk Sadie was very efficient and quick. Got to the room, everything appeared fine except it looked like housekeeping did not vacuum between guests. Then we turned down the beds. The sheets obviously had not been changed between occupants. One had a large brown stain of what appeared to be food (I hope) and a very long human hair on the fitted sheet. The second bed was covered in short human hairs near the foot of the bed. Contacted the desk and Sadie gave me the option of a new room since there was no housekeeping staff working that late (10pm). Went to get the new key and Sadie then offered fresh sheets, if we wanted to change them ourselves. I took this option. She did come photograph the problem so she could show her manager. Great service by Sadie. Terrible cleaning by whomever was responsible for our room. And I’m a little concerned that management only has one employee here at night. What if there is an emergency?

The check in was frustrated by the guy that was there ended up doing another reservation with my MIDDLE name whom does that... as well the rooms was dirty there is no sense of pride or anything it seems as they don't vacuum there carpet. As there was a dead big roach. My mother room was also in the same manor and the bed was made poorly it was just one issue after another.

Love where the front desk is located in relation to the front door! Allows front desk person immediate contact with visitors. The young woman working the front desk when we arrived was warm, friendly and super helpful. Layout of the lobby and breakfast area were also well thought out. Comfortable, clean and open. Beds are super comfortable room is clean however, it appears that there was a leak in the ceiling/roof (we are on the top floor) that was repaired very poorly. Makes the room feel a little icky. Everything else is wonderful.

Didn’t sleep due to road noise from the highway. The front desk said they couldn’t credit me because I booked on external app. The hotel is very nice, but it was difficult to enjoy the amenities of the new hotel without any sleep. I’ve learned since you can request a room opposite the highway which I would recommend in order to stay at this hotel.

Between the trains and the 18 wheelers on the highway, it was difficult to sleep. I knew something was amiss when I saw two pair of earplugs on the nightstand to compensate for the noise. The “hot” water was a little warmer than lukewarm. It had so little pressure that the water was cooled down by the time it hit my body. I may have gotten four hours of sleep at best. If I stay again in this city, I will definitely stay at an interior location away from the highway.

I have an issue with Fairfield constantly trying to get you to become a rewards member. It begins to feel manipulative. I requested a noon checkout by phone so that my husband could work from the room. At first she said sure, it shouldn't be a problem. Then suddenly she started saying that she could do it IF I signed up for rewards membership. Many, many motels will give you a noon checkout as long as they aren't completely booked and their housekeepers have time. When I arrived, I again immediately got the pitch that I needed to be a rewards member to get my request, and I had not even asked upon arriving. This motel was generally good. The beds were soft which I liked. I just don't enjoy being pressured.

Don’t stay here if your booking via a third party app. The front desk manager had issues with a “pay code” from hotels.com. She proceeded to berate me in front of other guests checking in, and said “ we hate you people who use third party apps to book a stay. You should just book directly through us, there’s always a problem.” I was a humiliating experience.

This is a very nice facility, clean, modern, and well maintained. The beds are super comfortable and the staff are friendly. The breakfast selection was varied and good - the only knock I would give is for the scrambled eggs. They had an odd texture - almost plastic like - but there were plenty of other items from which to choose. We'd stay here again if we were in the area.

The breakfast selection was amazing, so many options and everything we had tasted fresh and great! Excellent staff, every staff member we interacted with was welcoming and kind! There were fresh cookies available at the front desk for all guests when we checked-in and water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available 24/7 in the lobby. We did find a big stain on our comforter the first night, which grossed me out some. But the staff was apologetic and quick to switch out all the bedding for us! The noise was the worst thing. The hotel is right next to a busy highway, so road noises occurred all night. They weren't too terrible. BUT the train and train horn repeatedly occuring all night long was awful! The hotel did provide disposable earbuds for each guest upon arrival, so that helped some. I know this isn't necessarily something that the hotel can change or fix, but it did make our stay less enjoyable.
