Everything was fine except the distance to walk to any room from the parking lot across the street. If you have any problem walking long distances it is not good. It would be best to find a hotel that you can pull up to the front door.

It was pouring out and there was no covered area to get bags inside from parking lot. Since i didnt have cash on me yet, i didnt want to use valet. Valet area also didnt have covered entryway either so no matter what we and our new luggage were going to get soaked. On top of that long walk in the rain with all our gear, the check in and getting to rooms was very odd. Taking one elevator with bags to a 2nd floor check in desk then walking down long halls to a different elevator to get back down 1 floor to our room. then elevators back up a flight to get to check in lobby just to take a different one back down to 1st floor for gaming is very awkward. The layout was so odd with a lot of crazy designs on how to navigate hotel vs main areas that I would not stay here again. I was not there for any races, just to meet a family member. We paid for 2 king suites. Luggage racks were not seen anywhere to put all our bags on and the entrance has a road directlyin front of doors so you cant park in front and hold up traffic for loading and unloading. As 2 retired veterans with back pain issues, that just drove 6 hours, that part and overall design of layout were very inconvenient. The room itself was great. Very clean and modern design. My recomendation for improvement in upstate NY with lots of inclement weather, would be for the hotel to build a clear glass skybridge from the parkinglot to front entrance. Like airports at arrival/departurers. Would enhance safety for all crossing rd

Where do I begin? From the awesome ladies at the front desk to the beautiful room which I was really impressed with especially because there was a mirror lights, which was super cool for a girly girl like me who has to do her make up. the hotel overall is awesome. We also went to the restaurant downstairs called fortunes, the waitress the hostess everyone there was super super nice. we also checked out the bar which was amazing. the night we went They had a live band playing and it was so freaking awesome. The bartenders are also great. I cannot stop boasting about Batavia, Downs Hotel, and games. it really was a great experience. I haven't had that much fun in years .

lots of parking, but the parking lot is not well lit if you have luggage or coolers or anything like that to take to your room, it’s a very long walk from the parking lot to the hotel and then to your room once you’re inside the hotel it’s not very convenient, but things were clean. Staff was friendly. they do offer breakfast in the morning, which was just OK just typical of any hotel breakfast. The room was super clean and tidy. The price was right and I got $35 worth of FreePlay put it in a machine in the high roller section spun three times I was up $100 cashed out and left paid for my hotel room.!

Definitely an older crowd in the casino, and there are no table games which was a bummer. But the breakfast was great and the staff was lovely.

The hotel room was very clean. I was very pleased walking into our room. The floors are tile, with throw rugs down, which make it easier for them to clean. The room and bathroom were painted in a nice baby blue that made it just look crisp and clean. I will definitely be back. The breakfast was also good. All the staff were very friendly.

Room was gross and had hair and grime all over you can tell they don’t thoroughly clean these rooms after every stay. The staff gave us a $25 voucher for the “inconvenience”. There was no shampoo or soup in the room and had to go buy some. Would’ve rather gotten a refund and slept in my car. The casino was below average. Staff was nice don’t get me wrong but I’ll never be booking to stay the night or visit that casino again. The pictures on the website don’t match up with what you get. The walls are all beat up and there’s mold in the showers.

I always enjoy my stay at BD. I have been several times. The only negative comment i would have this time is that the neighbors above our room were very noisy, we could hear them all night. Other than that you get a 5☆ rating!

When I arrived I was given a room that smelled like dirty gym socks. I asked to be moved to another room. The staff obliged. Unfortunately, the next room smell just as bad as the first. On top of all that, getting to and from the guest rooms on the ground floor, where my room was, was very difficult as each and every time I had to take a flight of stairs to the second floor, walk across the hotel, and then take a flight of stairs back down to the first floor to get to my room. Also the restaurant closed very early, and the bar had inadequate seating.

Room was perfect and very clean. Longer walk from desk to room than I was anticipating. Had a ton of problems with the key reader on the door. Would not read keys almost every time I left the room. Carried keys in hand from desk to door and it wouldn't even register it. Was never told until check out that I could use the phone at the end of hallway to call the desk to get new keys brought to the room so I made about 8 trips overall just for keys.

We stayed for one night for a concert. This is easily one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be back the next time we are in the area

We have stayed at this property several times. The rooms are updated however, they need a deep cleaning. On our last stay we booked through Expedia as I have for years booking flights and hotels for more than 1000 employees as they travel. We never have an issue. We went to check our employees in and it was no issue and all of a sudden they didn’t have any rooms. The two gentleman that work for us are Hispanic and when they saw them they were suddenly out of rooms. I reached out to Expedia, the hotel claims they had a glitch and that it’s Expedias fault. It’s NOT Expedia. It’s the hotel. Ultimately, we were able to sort it out. I honestly feel like it was a case of discrimination. Our employees are mostly Hispanic, highly educated and hard working. No reason for this type of behavior. I did not want imbarrass my employees so I chose not to approach it with them there.

My room was changed without my notice even though the property claimed they told me. They did not. I was dissatisfied by this and it was not my fault they overbooked themselves but we had to deal with their consequences of it ourselves. For the most part everything was good. Can’t complain really about much except I had to ask for towels twice in the same day because we were out and no one brought them the first time I asked. Also the remote for the tv broke and that wasn’t fixed either. Other than that considering the blizzard I enjoyed my stay and will stay again

We stayed when attending a concert at Darien Lake and it was perfect. 20 minute drive to Darien Lake. The rooms were nice and big. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There could have been a little more cleaning attention to the shower area but nothing gigantic.

The room itself was nice, bed was comfortable. I was glad that we were able to check-in early to get ready for a wedding. I'd recommend requesting a room on the 2nd floor, which is the level with the check in desk and breakfast room. All the staff was friendly, but it's a long walk from the entrance to the rooms, so elderly or disabled people might have a hard time getting to or from the room, especially carrying luggage.

A little tough to find our room, a bit confusing and not super close or convenient. But, the staff is so nice and the room was superb, so once we figured it out, it was good. We will be back. The casino is so accommodating and has many free offers for their customers. I felt spoiled…👍 the food at the cafe was excellent and reasonable. All in all, a very nice stay…..
