We really enjoyed our stay but was very disappointed that the hot tub was broken an even though we contacted the property manager on day one, it was not fixed.

Cabin was great, can’t get over the views. Kitchen had everything we needed, shower was great, so was the hot tub. We loved just hanging out on the deck specially after hiking. Thank you!!

What a wonderful adventure. Enjoyed it tremendously. It is everything Verbo advertises. A little off the beaten path but so worth it. Our dog never wanted to come. He was enjoying nature soo much. We Host was wonderful. Answered promptly and went over and above. We hope to visit again. John and Sue

This cabin has a gorgeous view of the mountains & is a 30min drive to both Pigeon Forge & downtown Gatlinburg/SMNP entrance. Be sure to bring your own oven mitts & kitchen washcloths/towels! Everything was clean. A bear snuck up on me and my daughters while we were in the hot tub (about 8ft from us) - pretty sure us 3 girls screaming scared all the bears out of the area for a long time, haha! We saw no bears the 4 nights after that. Oven dial isn’t correct - turning it up to 350 is really 450/broil, so I set it around 200/250 & it cooked pizzas/cakes great! Dishwasher didn’t clean, so we had to hand wash items which we didn’t mind. Washer/dryer worked great! Hot tub was awesome - minus the bear surprise haha. LOVED the decks for sitting outside! So peaceful. Despite what others have said, we found the beds to be comfy, but we’re also not very big people. Drive up/down the hill is scary, but the more you do it, the more used to it you get. Overall, we enjoyed it and would stay again!

We really enjoyed the location and privacy of this house. It was exactly as listed and the house has an old school vibe that I personally adore. 10/10 views. Dogs loved it as well. 2-wheel drive car wasn’t an issue during fall months.

I was not aware of how small the roads where and how tight the turns where to actually get to the house. It was very scary. If I had know I most likely would not have rented it. House itself is good, appliances are way out of date but the scenery was breath taking. If you bring a dog there really isn't much space to walk them.

The property was very well kept and looks just like the pictures. The only problem I had is that the hot tub that’s on the listing doesn’t work. I called and spoke with them twice, was told someone would be sent to fix it, but it was never actually fixed.

Overall representation of the property was good. There were several issues with the cabin. The beds were absolutely HORRIBLE and need to be updated with new mattresses. The sink in the main floor bathroom leaks when you have the faucet on into the cabinet underneath. This was found when my hairdryer was pulled out to use and was dripping water off of and out of. The kitchen faucet leaks if not positioned just right. The microwave sounded as though it would explode when using it. The freezer looked to have mold growing in it.... did not notice this until the day we were leaving. Glad we were not storing anything in it that we were using. The stove oven dial was completely unreadable. However bad some items were the view was AMAZING. Appliances and plumbing need updated severely, as do the beds for the price you pay to rent the cabin you should be able to sleep, cook, wash comfortably.

Our first VRBO stay. (We usually camp). Place was clean and response to a couple minor broken items was very good. The property really needs updating along with weatherstriping in every door. Listing should give heads up about the road.

This cabin has a gorgeous view of the mountains & is a 30min drive to both Pigeon Forge & downtown Gatlinburg/SMNP entrance. Be sure to bring your own oven mitts & kitchen washcloths/towels! Everything was clean. Cabin was very clean. The view of the mountains was beautiful. Nice distance from the hustle and bustling of Gatlinburg. Smaller dinners and markets close by. Area was quiet and peaceful. Mattresses on both beds need to be replaced. Recommend taking memory foam toppers. Dishwasher is not anchored to floor or wall. Refrigerator door does not always seal shut, needs replaced.

We loved our stay! The house is a little outdated, but clean and comfortable. My only issue is that there was no ice maker or trays in the freezer. Also, our door code didn’t work. We called the office and she fixed the issue quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

Definitely not what we expected. Needs an over all update. It would not surprise me if a mold test was done, there would be mold. Ice from the fridge had a strange taste. I spilled some water on the floor. The floors were dirty when I wiped up the water. Grease was on the stove and we DID NOT cook. Too much just to sleep.

The cabin was amazing other than the road to get there it could not be more perfect. We were able to see a bear come across the balcony and the view was breathtaking. Love staying here would stay again.

This was a very nice property with gorgeous views of the Smoky mountains. Hot tub on the desk was very nice, very open feel in the home. Only gripe is the mattresses were very old and springs were loud and coming through. Overall the property was perfect - highly recommend.

The stay was good. It is a very homey home. Dogs loved hanging out on the deck. The beds really need new mattresses. Springs were not comfortable to sleep on. We both had sore backs each morning. The door handle needs to be tightened as it was almost falling off deck door. Couple chairs were broke on the deck and the lights over the kitchen sink did not work. Otherwise we had a nice time hiking.

Would have been nice to have a step by step check in- we were given the run around on how to check in and where. One operator accused us of not signing the rental agreement (which we did), and the manager thankfully gave us better info to help us check in.

The only complaint I have with the property was the drive up to the cabin, a little to scary for me. Everything else was wonderful! My family and I have been coming to the area for over 10 years and have never seen so many bear(s). The management company was GREAT they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

The place was nice, had plenty of room. It wasn’t very personable. Said there were 3 pools and we couldn’t find any of them. Kitchen had nothing except pots and pans. I didn’t expect to have to pack all our cooking spices and things, I wasn’t prepared for that.

We saw no bears the 4 nights after that. Oven dial isn’t correct - turning it up to 350 is really 450/broil, so I set it around 200/250 & it cooked pizzas/cakes great! Dishwasher didn’t clean, so we had to hand wash items which we didn’t mind. Washer/dryer worked great! Hot tub was awesome - minus the bear surprise haha. LOVED the decks for sitting outside! So peaceful. Despite what others have said, we found the beds to be comfy, but we’re also not very big people. Drive up/down the hill is scary, but the more you do it, the more used to it you get. Overall, we enjoyed it and would stay again!
This cabin has a gorgeous view of the mountains & is a 30min drive to both Pigeon Forge & downtown Gatlinburg/SMNP entrance. Be sure to bring your own oven mitts & kitchen washcloths/towels! Everything was clean. A bear snuck up on me and my daughters while we were in the hot tub (about 8ft from us) - pretty sure us 3 girls screaming scared all the bears out of the area for a long time, haha! The only complaint I have with the property was the drive up to the cabin, a little to scary for me. Everything else was wonderful! My family and I have been coming to the area for over 10 years and have never seen so many bear(s). The management company was GREAT they checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed.

Cabin was very clean. The view of the mountains was beautiful. Nice distance from the hustle and bustling of Gatlinburg. Smaller dinners and markets close by. Area was quiet and peaceful. Mattresses on both beds need to be replaced. Recommend taking memory foam toppers. Dishwasher is not anchored to floor or wall. Refrigerator door does not always seal shut, needs replaced.

The woodshed was beautiful. The views from inside and outside were wonderful. We enjoyed being off the "path" yet so close to everything. We saw 4 bears as well, which I didn't think we would in January. We would love to come back and enjoy...if upgrades to the beds are made. The downstairs mattress was not comfortable and every move we thought the springs were going to bust out. The oven needs upgraded or at least a new temperature knob..we just guessed what the Temp would be. The dishwasher (not that it's needed) but we had to hand wash all the dishes after it went through a cycle. Overall we did love the area and the cabin..just wanted more rest..on comfortable beds. :-)

We really enjoyed the location and privacy of this house. It was exactly as listed and the house has an old school vibe that I personally adore. 10/10 views. Dogs loved it as well. 2-wheel drive car wasn’t an issue during fall months.

I was not aware of how small the roads where and how tight the turns where to actually get to the house. It was very scary. If I had know I most likely would not have rented it. House itself is good, appliances are way out of date but the scenery was breath taking. If you bring a dog there really isn't much space to walk them.

We really enjoyed this property. Everything was as listed in the description. Roads leading to the cabin were a bit sketchy but after a few days coming and going we were fine. We were greeted by a black bear at the driveway when we arrived which only enhanced the whole mountain experience. The mountain view is amazing! We would definitely book this rental again.

We had the best time. Management replaced coffee pot after I broke it on accident but left us alone otherwise. Cabin was perfect and we’re coming back! Can’t wait to book more stays with Vrbo. Highly recommend!!
