Hotel was located conveniently to airport and parking was easy however expensive at £20 per night Reception staff was helpful. Disappointed they closed restaurant at 9.30pm. Bar food option was very basic and quality was not great. Room was clean and nice and bed was comfortable however really disappointed with no water In the room. They gave me a cookie but money should have been spent on providing water. Overall ok ish.

Our stay was ok, but the standard of the room we got was not something I expected from the Hilton. There are much nicer hotels in the area that cost less. It was also very difficult to get parked give you have to pay £20 for it and can’t get a space. Breakfast was nice.

Nice enough hotel but was shocked at the addition £17 they charged for parking your car there for the night, on top of paying £120 for the room I felt this was extortionate and for this reason I would not be staying there again. I genuinely thought the staff were joking at first, but apparently not. The greed is disgusting. The hotel was nice though

Nice hotel and very convenient for airport station and all terminals. Seemed very family friendly as has a dedicated play room for youngsters, which seemed to keep most of the kids happy just away from the restaurant. Room comfy and clean with good air con. Only had a short stay there due to early morning flight but happy with all about the hotel.

Cleanliness of the bathroom, hair in bathroom sink, some of furniture in the room in poor condition. No bar service despite was told by one of the guest the bar is open 24h, couldn’t get simple drink … Been in that hotel few times but it’s service is definitely going down. It’s only good to sleep in and get out

Bugs in the bed, 2 towels for a room of 6 people. The restaurant took 40mins to bring drinks 2 out of 4 orders were completely wrong and 1 arrived 25mins before the others. Horrendous I will never stay there again.

The extra deadbolts were removed and no chain - our shower mixer didn’t work so we moved rooms - both rooms had very dirty bathroom vents - one room had someone else’s clothes left on the floor . Somebody needs to check rooms are done to a standard maintenance and housekeeping . The good news are the beds are very comfy and the restaurant staff try very hard and our super nice - breakfast is 6/10 for this type of hotel - parking can be tough - we stay 2-3 times a year to visit family it’s just not the same as 9 months ago - we may switch .

As per all hilton brand hotels these days. The obvious lack of investment. The room was very dated. Their was mould all over the bathroom ceiling. It is such a shame to see this once great brand in the state it is now! There is a brand new hotel across the road (in a much better location) that tries really hard and understands what modern hospitality is.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Front of house was modern and well maintained however our room was grubby. Carpet was smelly and desperate need of replacing or deep cleaning. The Aircon in the room was woefully inadequate and we cooked the whole night as a result. Awful sleep before a long haul flight.

Pleasant and efficient stay and courteous early check in which is always a bonus after a long flight. Only small issue was the wooden blinds in the bar/restaurant area thick with dust obviously not been cleaned in several days - apart from this food and service ok and breakfast buffet good. Stayed here many times and ten years ago it was very good. Now it’s very disappointing. Dated. Lacking in care and attention. Service is slow on the restaurant. Too few staff for too many customers. And we noticed in the morning our bed sheets had dirty stains on them. I wish I’d noticed the night before. Clearly the bedding hasn’t been changed from previous guests. This is unforgivable

Check in was easy, although they weren't ready for us. The room was being finished. The toilets in the lobby were quite a state, two of the three cubicles were full of mess and the the third one had tiles fallen off the wall. The building looks like it can do with an update.

The room doesn't have Frigidaire! Room window cannot be closed and stuck? Bathroom door need paint/ repair. Lower cost option near the airport especially for terminal one. Foe terminal 2 other hotels near terminal 2 is better.

Stayed for 1 night in advance of an early flight out. Car parking was a struggle as all spaces were initially taken so had to drive around for quite a while. Insufficient staff at reception meant a delayed check in, but lady who did eventually attend to us was great. Room was very compact and not quite what we booked but I was losing the will to live at that point. Room decor was tired and grubby around the edges. You are paying for the location and not the facilities themselves. Skipped breakfast

Excellent location and facilities for an overnight stay with the kids. Really love we can have our 3 small children in the same room as accommodates 5. Family friendly and have stayed many times. Only downside is there is no crossing outside hotel for the road but that's not hotel fault just the airport design

We were given a room where the window wouldn’t close. At a noisy airport this was not good. The hotel did swap rooms for us but it was disappointing they gave us it in the first place and that we had to ask to move, they’re initial suggestion was that we just get on with it.

I'm a regular at this hotel for work but on this occasion it was for leisure pre-early morning flight. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The free cookie on arrival delighted my hubby who is like an excited kid with anything like that. The hotel is spotless and the food here has always been excellent. The hotel itself is a short walk over from the bus station and there is a shuttle that operates from 3am which you can book and pay for using the link provided by the QR code in your room. 100% recommend this hotel.

What makes my stay here special is the lovely welcome from the gentleman on the front desk. He is a credit to your establishment, he truly is. Polite, helpful, kind, everything you could wish for. Even a warm cookie! Sadly l don’t remember his name. I’ve been staying at this hotel for four or five years and he’s always been there. I hope he never leaves!

The room was not soundproofed in that the air conditioning unit above my room kept me awake. I raised the matter with reception who went to my room whilst I ate at their restaurant, they couldn’t hear anything (despite 3 of us occupying the room saying otherwise). I was offered an alternative room, which was declined as we’d settled in already. Unfortunately I only got about 3 hours sleep. At their restaurant, you can’t order bar food items, such as pizza, and eat that in the restaurant yet their children’s buffet offers pizza. My husband and I literally sat at separate tables eating our food of choice. I was disgruntled about that and staff said “they are the rules.” I’ll choose a different hotel when flying from Manchester again.

Quiet, very close to Manchester Airport complex and Train Station ... easily with walking distance (200 meters) although there were no signs in the airport / train station which would have helped. Newer facility. Beds were very comfortable, although instead of four thick pillows they could have two thick and two thinner. To be fair, we did not ask. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. They were good quality.

Good base for the airport, rooms as expected, clean modern, tea coffee facilities, storage, safe, fridge...huge TV. Nice bathroom good shower. We checked in very late but staff were warm and friendly, even gave us hot cookies. Hotel a bit of a walk from the terminal but manageable 10 mins ish. Overall nice hotel would use again if requiring a stay for the airport.

This hotel is very close to the airport but you have to walk across 2 fairly busy lanes of traffic to enter the quick way, or go all round the outer road of the airport to enter the correct way. A crosswalk or footbridge would be ideal for kids with suitcases. Other than that, good location and English breakfast was good for the price. Train to center of town took 20 mins and was super convenient for exploring city centre before our flight in the morning.

No way to easily and safely walk from the terminal to the hotel and vice-versa. Most of the connecting roads are only for cars and feel unsafe for a pedestrian. I walked it only once, near midnight, and there was a lot of traffic.

Hotel is close to the airport but instructions on how to walk there were difficult to find. For those that want to walk you need to exit the station from the West and follow the footpath around (to the south not the north as you might think from google maps). Then cross the road.

The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Only the service in the restaurant and the restaurant menu let it down. The waiter was surly, slightly rude to my wife (we noticed him ignoring a woman in favour of a man on another table, so it wasn’t just us). Also, I asked about allergens as I’m gluten intolerant, but they hadn’t got a clue and there were no gluten free options on the menu. Given the choices locally, I probably wouldn’t stay again

I'm a big fan of this hotel. It is starting to show some signs of wear but it's clean and very comfortable. Sadly the dining room service leaves a lot to be desired. The food is great, but the service staff feel inexperienced whether finding a table, thinking about proximity to other diners or cleaning the table next to us while we were still eating... when table servers are bringing drinks they need extra training on handling of glasses etc. Just not as thoughtful as the food itself. Breakfast and Bar service is great. The breakfast buffet close to the best we've had! We will absolutely be back again and soon, but for the comforts of the room and breakfast, less so for the dinner service.

I expected more from a brand like Hilton. The room service took almost 2 hours the pizza was cold and the drinks were incorrect. We waited so long we ended up just eating it. The excuse was that the hotel was understaffed and fully booked. This is really bad staff management. I will probably book elsewhere in future.
