Room was very nice, pool was green and small, access from parking to back of the hotel was awkward. Overall decent stay. No food close by.

Would stay here again. The pool is small but nice.

A shard of glass from a previously broken object was in the carpet, and I stepped on it, puncturing my foot and drawing blood! Had to wear a bandaid for a few days. At departure, the front desk was unmanned for a half hour and we waited for help getting into the room to pack up and get out; our key wouldn't work an hour prior to "Check-out time." Lobby couches were comfortable and it was quiet and pleasant there for gathering. Beer bottles available in the little store were helpful.

There was an exit door and an elevator not working. Otherwise it was fine.

Finding a place to stay that has an on site restaurant and bar can be difficult when you are on the road. That being said, we booked this hotel. After being in the car on the road for 10 hours, we were looking forward to a bite to eat and a cocktail. We checked in at 7:45 pm and were told the restaurant was closed today. What??? There was nothing we could do so we ended up having a pizza delivered. Disappointing to say the least. And I paid a higher rate for this hotel over others because we specifically wanted a restaurant and a bar on site. I guess going forward I will have to call to confirm this fact rather than booking online. There was a new girl at the front desk. She and her helper were pleasant and gave us a list of restaurants that were nearby. None of them were in walking distance. When the pizza delivery came the poor guy had to use the stairs to the third floor because the elevator was not working. There is no complimentary coffee unless you use the small machine in the room. And although the kitchen was not open the night we arrived they were serving breakfast items for a fee in the morning. The room was nice, the bed and the pillows were comfortable, but I think there was a giant staying on the fourth floor above us because we heard every footstep he took.

Very nice facility. I like the reception area and connecting lounge and bistro areas.

Affordable and clean close to airport. Room key pad broke and we had to change rooms. Pull out bed was difficult to open and was very uncomfortable. Pool was tiny and cold. But overall not a bad place. Just expected more from a long time Marriott fan.

Front desk charged my credit twice, then had to to argue with a rude manager to make sure it was refunded, room wasn’t clean, hair all over the bed, open soap still in the shower, and piss still in the toilet

Room was clean, comfortable, quiet. Perfect for a one night stay before continuing our extended journey south.

The people were friendly, but the room cleanliness was not to standard for a Marriott. Upon arrival to our room the bed just didn’t seem as crisp and put-together. It looked like a bad I’d make at home, not the tight sheets and cover of a normal hotel room bed. One of the pillowcases was put on inside out. There was no spare pillowcase for the sofa bed. The back of the bathroom door had stains on it, there was mildew around the bottom of the shower, and the lower shelf in the shower had come off, so they had just painted over it with a paint color that didn’t match the shower install. Since we didn’t arrive from our long travel day until close to midnight, we didn’t contact the front desk. I feel confident if we would have they would have made it right and given us a different room, but we were exhausted, AND I don’t expect to need to ask for a new room at a Marriott. I wouldn’t stay here again.

After a long drive was looking forward to a relaxing stay and kickback where I could unwind and partake in some television viewing. However, despite my efforts, the remote control failed to operate and I was unable to power off the television. Additionally, the cleaning of the room was conducted hastily, as evidenced by the dirty mirror and dusty appliances with visible marks.

Television difficult to operate. No instructions. Would definitely stay again.

TV gave us trouble. No volume the first night. Front desk sent someone to fix on the following day. Bathroom shower needed some repair/maintenance. Otherwise it was a pretty nice hotel.

Normally a big fan of Marriott properties so it saddens me to write this review. The physical property ( public spaces , room and grounds were very good. Check in was pretty good. The issue seems to be staffing, especially in the restaurant. On check in on a Saturday night we’re told the restaurant was closed that night ; this hotel is really out in the middle of nowhere, and the nearest food options were literally several miles away. Finally had to settle for takeout from a gas station! Once we returned to the hotel after our fine dining experience, the restaurant was in fact open and the front desk clerk admitted she had told us it was closed because she didn’t know if any staff were going to come in so they could open it - wow! The breakfast experience was notable for a rather hectic feeling and the woman in charge apologized for the wait explaining that they were “ short staffed”. The room was a little noisier than most other Marriotts we’ve stayed in; could hear conversations in the adjoining rooms, road noise , etc. Not the typical Bonvoy experience.

We loved this hotel!!!! The staff was amazing and so helpful! I actually thought the hotel was brand new it was so clean but was told it is 7 years old. Very nice location! The bed were not comfortable which was the only complaint I have about the property.

This hotel is right off the highway, very convenient. The property is very new (or looks like it). There is a bar/bistro so you don’t have to leave to eat, and food was fresh made and good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Downsides: we could not operate the tv remote - either we are dense, or they weren’t working. The mini fridge in the room is too small to be practical and barely kept our food chilled. There was no hand soap in the room and last, the glasses there were NOT clean. We would stay there again, overall for the money, it was a nice stay.

Our stay was wonderful. Staff was very courteous and Restaurant service was also very good. Jojo was excellent very friendly and courteous.

We understand that the property we stayed at is being renovated. But the staff is very unprofessional, and unaware of everything. We had a long drive the next day and tried to get some sleep, when two doors up from our room was talking banging on the wall all night. The room beside us was noisy though 5am. At 11:00 after trying to sleep I did call the front desk and ask them to check on the noisy rooms. We don’t think they did anything. We are paying customers too, and we’re not happy we anything about our stay. When I mentioned it to the front desk girl in the morning, and she said they have no control over any of the things I mentioned.

Nice place in great location on the highway. Arrived late at night and sign was at desk saying be back soon. After 15 minutes staff person arrived to check me in.

Everything and everyone were great EXCEPT for the bistro—we had to wait 45 minutes for our breakfast order even though we were the only ones there. The person who took our order and then forgot to actually make any of it- including coffee- was snippy and rude.

The desk clerk that checked us in was wonderful! She was so polite and helpful.

The hotel is great. But my mom went to verify something about the bill and the person didn't speak Spanish and ended up understanding she wanted to check out. She got her money back but at the moment her bank account was drained with extra charges. People on front desk should be bilingual. Or don't take such extreme decisions if you're not sure of what you can understand.

Great place to stay close and walkable to the tennis center. Food and service at the bistro were great. The staff here is really what makes this gem shine. Would absolutely stay there again!

Friendly staff and a short drive to great dining options in town

We like this property for its location, convenient right off I77 but also in a quiet location with a nature walk near by. The property is very well kept, and the rooms are clean. At the Bistro, the food is great, and the people working there are very courteous and great servers.

Not much to do or see surrounding the building.

Hotel was clean and felt safe. Rooms were ok, newer decor. Needed to drive to get food. Still, was pretty close to USC.

If ever back in the Columbia SC area this will definitely be our choice of place to stay. It was secluded and quiet, yet close to everywhere we needed to get to. A great job by the staff, keep up the good work👍

STARBUCKS !!! Over priced coffee!!! Stayed in 5 hotels in 7 days. EVERYONE of them had complimentary coffee except this one.

Did not care for Starbucks in hotel. Had to purchase overpriced coffee and breakfast with no alternative choice near the hotel. Whatever happened to free continental breakfast?

Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Breafast is not worth the extra money. Lots of better options around the hotel.

Found out at check in the restaurant was closed again, same problem at same property 10 days ago. No dining options anywhere nearby and is posted that they don’t allow delivery to the rooms so you’re forced to get back in the car and take another drive to find dinner. I at least ; will not return here again, no matter how convenient

We were happy with our room and the overall quality and cleanliness of the property. However, the website claimed there was a bar and a bistro for dinner and breakfast. We chose this hotel based on that as well as our experience with Marriott. After driving 11 hours we just wanted to have a cocktail and dinner and not have to drive anywhere else. And we needed to out early and was planning on a “real” breakfast. Only to find out the hotel is under new management and as such could not open the bar. And in the morning they were not staffed appropriately to deliver the breakfast they advertise. We were left at night to go into town where we had to pay for parking and had a terrible dinner. Breakfast was unacceptable . The coffee was terrible. My point with this is they should not be advertising amenities they cannot deliver. Hotel pricing is based on these services. We did not receive any prior notice or discount. Marriott you can and should do better.
