Very nice property in general. We were looking forward to the rooftop bar...closed for a private party. Room was nice but the shower had visible dirt. And wow , was it slippery and the body wash bottle was empty so I had to exit to get a bar of soap. . The heated toilet seat was wonderful!.

We were celebrating our anniversary and excited to try this hotel, however after our experience we wouldn’t stay there again. The first room we were given was dirty, which the front desk begrudgingly swapped for us. The new room was 60 degrees, but warmed up while we were having dinner at the rooftop bar. Great space! Service was bad despite being wide open. Our toilet had a horrid smell despite appearing clean. Pool was so filthy and had piles of brown grunge in the corners so we didn’t use it. Loud hallways, and middle of the night disturbances. This hotel has potential but needs a major shift in attention to cleanliness, maintenance and service. Wish I had thought to get photos.

A beautiful historical hotel with Hot tub, pool and a great rooftop bar. It’s right across the street from the River, and most down town Restaurants and attractions are easily walkable including The Figge Art Museum, and the Adler Theater. I would love to stay here again.

The cost was high. The food service was extremely slow, We were charged extra to park our vehicle in an outside lot and not advised that there was a charge. We would not recommend this hotel.

We have stayed at other Autograph Properties and really enjoyed them. We appreciate the focus on quirky designs and innovative features. When we checked into The Current we expected the same. Its art themed approach was nice, but we quickly found the maintenance and service lacking; something that has never been an issue in other Autograph properties. The bidet was broken, the lighted mirror didn't work, the bed side light was borken and housekeeping never cleaned our room on our second night. When we went to discuss accomidation changes with reception staff, we were ignored while they talked on the phone; after 10 min we grew tired of waiting and left. A simple acknowledgement or signal that they will be with us soon would have been nice. If you are considering this hotel, I would continue looking. They are many discount hotels in the area that will provide better service and better accomidations.

We saw a show at the Adler Theater and it was a quick city block walk. That is mainly why we chose this hotel. The hotel was very clean and nicely appointed. Several dining options within walking distance also. Staff was friendly.

We have stayed at other Autograph Properties and really enjoyed them. We appreciate the focus on quirky designs and innovative features. When we checked into The Current we expected the same. Our air conditioning was not working right , when you want to go upstairs for the view of the sky lounge. There is no seating when it’s dark out so you can take pictures with that atmosphere.

We have stayed at other autograph hotels, inclinding the Blackhawk, and were looking forward to a great room and quirky featues. Well the quickness was there, but the room and service was a let down! Our room had broken sconces, non-functional bidet, and the lighted mirror didn't light in the bathroom. Add to that the horns from the trains and poor service from the desk staff ( he spent so long on the phone complaining about his job and the issues with hotel while ignoring customers that we left.) Stay somewhere else!

Unfortunately, we had a few issues with both Marriott hotels this weekend however, the manager of this establishment, as well as the young lady that was at the desk last night Sunday night was absolutely top-notch and customer service. They were kind they were polite and they were extremely patient as I was a bit of a hot mess and they took care of me better than anybody has in years in a hotel stay so they had a few amenities that were not working due to staffing however, they were completely apologetic and kind and we will go back to this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel. Well decorated rooms and beds are awesome. Highly recommend this hotel for a downtown area. Absolutely beautiful.

It is early to write a review, since I just checked in. But so far I like what I see. This is my first visit to this fine town. The hotel is old, but recently updated. Rooms are spacious and clean. Decor is tasteful. Check in clerk was very friendly. So far, I feel like we made a good choice!

The hotel is amazing. The staff from check in and including any I had contact with were great. The area surrounding the hotel is not great but that’s a city issue not the hotel. If back in Davenport I’d book this hotel immediately

We came into town for the St.Patrick's day festivities. We arrived ahead of check in time, but we were able to check in right away which is always nice. The check in went ok, not the friendliest or most informative desk person. Just ok. We had a standard king room. Overall it was a good room. We never really figured out the fancy toilet, the heater was on the seat the whole time we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. Although it was neat having a tv in the bathroom mirror, we didn't use it or need it. Great shower. We had room service for breakfast and it was great, along with the service. We also went to both the lobby and sky lounge, both excellent and excellent bartenders. Overall we really enjoyed the property.
