Let’s just say the room I booked on Expedia was not the room I was placed in. We arrived around 10pm on a cool night, and maybe we can blame it on that, but the carpet in the room felt damp and clammy. Gross. Unfortunately, the thermostat did not feature the option to keep the fan blowing constantly to help circulate the damp air in the room. The glass door shower that was in the Expedia photos was certainly not the tub/shower combo with shower curtain that my room had. Yes, I’m a bit of a bathroom snob, so that’s a deal breaker. Though the room boasted accommodations for four, towels for only two were provided. The bed linens appeared wrinkled and slept in. The desk appeared to have been someone’s sticky bun breakfast spot that didn’t get washed. Outside of the room conditions, in some areas, the wallpaper was wrinkled the walls were cracked, and spackled holes had never been painted over. The business center computers were out of order, as was the pool. For breakfast, I grabbed a bagel from the breakfast area. Let’s just say I ended up at Starbucks for banana walnut loaf and hot chocolate. Overall, the room was just meh. Bottom line, I regret this reservation and I won’t be staying here again.

This is a new facility and in great shape. Parking is plentiful and well lit. It is quiet and a good place to stop for a night or extended trip to the area. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Decent for 1 night. Next to the interstate, so heard a lot of traffic. There was also noise from the mechanical room that we could hear. The pool area had a bad smell so we opted not to swim. Breakfast was great and staff was very nice and helpful.

I had mistakenly booked just Sunday and Monday. I then booked Saturday separately, which caused issues at check in. I was told the next day I would have to check out the next morning and check back in. This caused difficulties and they were not able to do it at the time. The AC worked, but it would shut off and kick on again all night so we were constantly hot and cold. The workout room or gym would be nice, but the tv monitors for the ellipticals didn't work and that is the equipment I wanted to use. I asked a couple of times to have them fixed, but they were not during our 4 day stay. The gym was a cool temperature. My husband thought the breakfast was just ok. Coffee was not great. Poor water pressure. Rooms clean. Wifi had problems. Horribly noisy--LOUD, footsteps, door slamming, mechanics, people talking, interstate noise, etc. Smell of cigarette smoke. Fire alarm went off one day. Note left on door, "we ask that you leave all dirty towels in the hallway before you theave for work in the morning..."

Pool was small. There were no pool towels available. When I asked for some the said to take them out of the workout facility, these towels were more for soaking up sweat from working out, not a towel to use at the pool, very small.

This property seemed to be rather new, HOWEVER, the cleanliness and the staff left a loss to be desired. There were bugs in the room and in the hall outside the room. It wasn't clean from the previous guest. The shower was dirty, the tile was sticky, and the carpet had not been vacuumed. There was a howl sound at the door. We had to use a towel to make it stop. When we got to our room the temp was 63 degress, absolutely freezing. The heater did not work to warm up the room. Someone had thrown towels in the hallway, and hours went by without it being cleaned up. There was also a sausage on the floor in the hallway. A request was made for an extra pillow and no one showed up the deliver it. Definitely will not stay at this hotel again. One of our worst stays ever.

The shower had a LOT of mold and debris. You couldn't take a shower in it. If I sent a culture of this stuff to a lab, I bet the cultures would come back positive for all kinds of gross bacteria and molds.

Great breakfast bar service. Super helpful. Now, for the rest… My room smelled like the boys locker room. The sink was plugged and wouldn’t drain. The shower has rust and was disgusting. The carpets throughout the building have really nasty stains as if they had been a frat party. For the money, you can do a whole lot better.

The front desk ladies were extremely rude during check in. They didn’t tell me which room number I was in, which I figured I could look in the key folder, but it was very hard to read. I asked if there was a door closer to our room that I could enter and she replied “we have lots of doors you can enter.” Extremely unprofessional communication. Normally, we will go out of our way to stay at a Holiday Inn property, but this was the dirtiest and worst experience at this chain I have ever experienced. There are stains all down the hallways and our bathroom shower was absolutely disgusting. It was very obvious it was not cleaned. The desks and furniture in our room had dust and finger prints. Also obvious these had not been cleaned in a while. Extremely disappointed in this stay. I could maybe expect this if it was a $50 room… but I’ve stayed in nicer motel 6’s or super 8’s. Would recommend another hotel in this area.

Hotel staff was friendly and check in efficient. Suite was spacious and comfortable. Bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. Room cleanliness was subpar - sofa bed had crumbs on the mattress so we promptly closed that back up. There was dried drink splashed on the furniture and walls. There was a blood smear on the wall by the window as well. Had to go downstairs to get extra sheet set for the couch that they usually keep in the room. Quiet at night which was nice. It’s a nonsmoking hotel but we walked through guests smoking outside the entry doors upon entry and upon exit. :( Maybe have a designated area away from entrances to the building?

Absolutely disgusting. Mold and mildew all throughout the bathroom, and while some may not even believe this, we found a literal mushroom growing in the shower. It was absolutely sickening. We demanded a refund and left immediately.

The room was clean but very dark. No lighting by the desk. On line I had booked the handicap room. About 15 minutes before arrival a lady called and said the room was no longer available but they could book us into another room. We need bars etc in the bathroom and there were none. We asked the lady at the front desk if we could get any discounts etc, we are in our 80s and also have triple a. She was very rude,,, this morning this morning the breakfast was excellent and the staff person overseeing everything was a great guy. Talked to the front desk gentleman as we left and he explained we only get discount if we reserved by phone. Very odd. Overall it was a pleasant experience and very clean.

For some reason you are unable to control the temp in your room. The first room I was put in the air didn’t work at all. When I called the front desk she said she would try to reset it and if it didn’t work the evening shift would be able to fix it. Resetting didn’t work. I went to the front desk and asked they switch my room since it was still early. They switched me without a problem. In the second room I bumped the room air down to 65. It was working until I did this. I called down to the front desk and told them the air wasn’t working again. They then explained you can’t put the air below 68 or it’ll shut off. They reset it and it stayed at 70 degrees in the room which is ok but I would’ve like it a little cooler when I slept. I think it’s crazy you can’t control your own air or go below 70 degrees. This isn’t a cheap hotel….

There were too many things in the room that did not meet expectations. The heat was hard to adjust, the TV was hard to change channels and no guide, the barn door to the bathroom was horrible, didn’t close all the way and hard to move. The alarm was out of battery so unplugging it still didn’t help, and the alarm went off at weird hours and last, but certainly not least., There was no hairdryer in the room, which I didn’t notice until my hair was soaking wet.

Check in was easy and stay was good till midnight when our room was given to a new guest and they walked in on us while we were sleeping. This could have ended very badly and when I called the front desk the guy sounded extremely high and did not even say im sorry- just oh okay! When he canceled the new guests key cards, it canceled ours too so we were locked out after breakfast. I feel a prorated price should be recalculated and refunded to us!

And when I called the front desk about a lot of people noise from the adjoining room at 11PM, they did not address it and seemed indifferent. Breakfast area opened late, even though there were several people waiting, and the only question I was asked at checkout was "do you want a receipt?". Definitely not what I expect from Holliday Inn Express.

At my check in the staff was friendly and helpful. Satisfied with the room and building. But the best part of my stay was the guy at the breakfast counter. Ren was his name. Dude was friendly and really great at helping people find what they needed and stocking the food. Thanks again -the wife and I travel this route often and we will be back!

The room was very clean, the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in while traveling!!!! Pillows were great too. I had trouble with the remote and the manager of housekeeping brought a new one up immediately, along with a menu of channels they offered. The breakfast was great! There is a man working from the kitchen that was extremely helpful and kind, a wonderful personality and great asset to the company for sure!!!

This check in with Sage was quick and easy. She and Reggie were very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and very comfortable. Shay checked us out the next morning and Lynn made sure we were happy with our breakfast and went out of her way to make sure the area was clean and well stocked. I would come here again anytime.

The two women working the desk were two of the most ackward and unfriendly people I’ve encountered when checking in. No uniform, just random sweaters and one of them of just rude. I don’t think she’s even aware she’s being so rude. I stay in hotels multiple nights week. Mostly Holiday inns. I wouldn’t leave this review unless it was worthy. As a business owner I would want to know. I’ll be back

Convenient location off the highway with many restaurant choices. Wood frame construction, which is surprising. It means you can hear people walking around their hotel room above you. Maybe ask for the upper floor.

We stayed here twice in the same week. The staff are friendly and efficient! The breakfast is varied and tasty- hot stuff hot, cold stuff cold. There is a Buffalo Wild Wings and a steakhouse across the street, with several other eating choices within walking distance. We felt safe walking. The first room was great. The second stay, we had room 122 and it was not so great. There is a terribly loud air whistle every few minutes coming from somewhere. But, we would definitely stay there again! Just not in room 122.

We loved that this motel was rather new. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and smelled like fresh pine when we walked in. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows were nice and fluffy. Bathroom was a decent size and very clean. We also loved the large window in the room, making it nice and bright. The breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast staff was super nice and helpful, coming to our table to remove empty plates and bowls. The selection of food of fantastic and we appreciated that the staff kept everything stocked. The price was very good for what we got. We'd definitely recommend this motel and would certainly stay there again!

Nice! Breakfast buffet was good and not just a bunch of carbs. I have celiac disease so I appreciate eggs, potatoes, and fruit. Coffee was great and was able to get refills long after the cutoff time.

Wall was ripped up. Bathroom corner not fixed completely. No towels in luke ward pool. One hour before the end of breakfast was lacking any bacon and eggs were all with geen peppers. Pancakes took too long and were all under cooked. No napkins.

It was Great! Our newly renovated room was awesome! Lots of room, comfortable bed, bathroom design is good too!! And the Breakfast is the best one around!! The people working the breakfast were fun and helpful!! Great stay! We would definitely stay here again!!

Service and cleanliness very good. Breakfast, however was awful - biscuits/sausage was tasteless, likewise scrsmbled eggs & turkey sausage, OJ was watered down. Coffee was out at 7:00am.
