Sleep Inn & Suites West Des Moines near Jordan Creek

The breakfast had many options. There was a cute little pool that was fun to use too. The downsides were no hot tub and the water pressure was almost non-existent. We would recommend a stay here. WIFI worked great, don't use the password just go on the free one the password doesn't make sense or work anyway

This was a one night stay for my wife and our two dogs. For the price, it was as expected. Things that could have been better was more water pressure in the shower and the rooms are a bit outdated. But overall, it was clean, plenty of parking, and safe. Wasn’t a bad stay, but there’s room for improvement too.

Convenient location right off of I-35 exit 70 civic mills parkway. Near a gas state Shake Shack and McDonalds. Breakfast ok. Very clean. Convenient parking. Recommend you request room away from elevator. Ice machine is next to elevator and is noisy

Clean room, tastefully decorated, staff welcoming. Many amenities such as pool, exercise room.

It's a nice place, but the air fresheners were a bit strong, as though thwyre masking odors. Also, the pool is about 15 feet long and 4 feet deep. It should be advertised as a splash pool for toddlers. Breakfast was nice. Beds were comfortable, and the neighborhood is safe.

Always clean & nice people run it. Didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that but the exercise room was decent. A lot of breakfast options but mostly carbs. A BIG plus is the real butter, not margarine! I would stay here again.

We've stayed here twice before and have always enjoyed it. However one thing we look for is a hot tub, which they had before. This stay, the hot tub was gone, even though their info said they had one. We probably won't stay there again. But if you don't care about a hot tub, it's a great place to stay. Very clean and great staff!

It was a nice motel. Our room was clean & cleanliness is very important to me. It was right off the interstate but quiet. Sadly, we did not have time to check out the pool or gym so we can't comment on that. Usual breakfast offerings: eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, 2 waffle irons, bagels, toast, yogurt, juices, cocoa, coffee & tea etc The date we picked was reasonably priced, the checkout lady mentioned a promotion, so maybe it's normally higher. Plus we had money off from One Key. We will probably stay here again when we're in town, if the rates don't increase.

Property well taken care of and staff were very helpful. Parking was good and I wasn’t concerned about safety.

Everything was clean except for the shower which had mold in the corners of the floor!

The room smelled like stale cigarettes and was very damp and musty. Shower not very clean. Bananas out for breakfast were almost black! Bed was comfortable though.

The place is clean. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel could use some updates, but is still in good condition. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was just fine.

There’s a lot to say, parking good, customer service good, location good. It was quite which is super good. However we found multiple blood stains on the lower part of the comforter the 2nd night of our stay. Granted they came to change everything but I was pretty grossed out because we did sleep a night before noticing. Second…the breakfast. They serve the same exact sausage and eggs every single day and my husband took one bite of the sausage and spit it out. It was sour. Idk how many days they have been serving the same sausage and I don’t think they know either. It’s a nice hotel, I think with some housekeeping retraining and a little extra budget for breakfast it could be a great hotel.

When I first got here the room was dirty as hell. They changed my room but it was also dirty I didn’t say anything just cleaned it and took pictures.

Walls are paper thin. Could not sleep because of stomping and disruptive patrons.

A/C in our room was not cooling off.

It was a nice safe location and clean enough. The man at check-in was nice and polite. I found the rooms kinda small, then the on demand tv stopped working the first night (possibly my fault but not sure). I found the bed harder than I like and barely slept at all due to arthritis pain sonI would up missing the concert I had gone there for after all that! Road noise didn’t help either.

I booked this hotel and room because Expedia had a sofa bed listed in addition to beds. Upon check in we found none of their rooms had a sofa bed which affected our sleeping arrangements and made for uncomfortable and restless sleep nights.

Should have given 4 stars but the mattresses are TOO HARD. Not just my opinion, but everyone on my daughter's softball team agreed.

I have stayed in this hotel many times and I have noticed changes during the last couple of months. The rooms cost more, but the quality is not at the level it used to be. The internet service is poor, the air conditioning isn’t great (it used to be) and I found what appeared to be tin foil in the bed sheets. The check-in process is also cumbersome now as it seems that the front desk staff are not fully trained.

Hotel was very nice, seemed nicely updated and check in service was great. A couple things that affected our stay. It was really cold and it had snowed a couple days prior. The lot was not plowed well leaving not a lot of parking places. Also, our room was terribly hot! We had the thermostat turned down to 62 on a very cold night and it was still like a sweat lodge.

The first room I got smelled like an entire bottle of men's cologne had spilled on the floor. It was overwhelming. I talked with the desk and theybwere very accommodating. Got me a new room immediately that was just fine. I appreciated their efforts!

The establishment itself was very nice, but once we got into our room it was a bit different. I called the front desk on numer occasions due to the fact that their clock did not work properly and could not set it to the proper time andso we unplugged it the whole because the time was wrong and when i called the front desk, they didnt k ow how to fix it. Then i had told them that i had to have a wake up call at 3am and thank god that o was already awake because the wake up call never happened. Then i had also called the front desk abput needing extra towels and he told me i had to come get them from him. So i went down the hall to go get them from the desk clerk and he hannded me small towels, which in reality were handtoweĺs, not bath towels like i requested. I also asked him about how to figure out the television and i couldnt set anything up because he said that they were supposedly still setting up network in order to use the tv to its full potential. And last but not least, i was infuriated with my shower because i ended calling down to the front desk and asking for a phillips screwdriver to fix our shower because you should not have to try an̈d hold the sprayer in one hand because it wont stay up inside the shower.....it makes it very difficult to try and shower but couldnt get a screwdriver because the guy at the front desk didnt have a clue as to what he was doing so needless to say it didnt get fixed and it probably still isnt fixed and for basically 200 doll

The single king room that I paid for was NOT available and was given two queens instead...not the romantic stay that I had intended. Then they informed me that management increased the pet fees 33%. Do NOT stay next to the stairwell... banging all night long! After the second day of a three day stay, when I asked for more clean towels the front desk clerk looked at me as if I was trying to steal them. At check out, a written receipt for the pet fees and incidentals could not be provided...nor a verbal total amount given. No southern hospitality here!

Great place to stay while on a family road trip. Knocked off a point because the front desk signed me up for the company’s rewards program without permission. I would not have signed up if offered a choice since I rarely stay in their network.

After booking our room online, I was disappointed that when we arrived at 8:30pm, our room was not ready. Not only was our room not ready, two other people were waiting for a room. We had to wait 20 minutes.

Very easy check in, friendly front desk staff, affordable and very clean. Good restaurants near by and convenient to the airport.

I booked a night while driving and walked right in & felt welcomed. The check-in was quick and simple. The property is just off the interstate so it was convenient. Hotel staff was friendly especially since there were multiple tornado warnings going on. People were checking in and hanging out in the lobby for safety and the hotel staff were valm and collective. Would stay here again.

The room was clean. It was close the interstate and close to a gas station, food options and a grocery store. The staff was friendly.

Great location for what we wanted to do.

This is a good option for when we need to stay overnight in the city, but didn't need a lot of fancy perks. The rooms and lobby are clean and we can have our dog with us. The location is very convenient with several fast food options, a Hy-Vee across the street, a Walgreens a couple of blocks away, and the interstate is right there as well.

Breakfast was normal hotel food, but well stocked and organized. Nice clean affordable hotel. Will certainly stay here again.

While not a “5 Star” fancy hotel, this location is a hidden gem for the value. We stayed here three night for the price of one night at other “high end hotels” just down the road. Very friendly staff, quiet room, fantastic water pressure. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles plus the other regular items.

Only one thing prevented this hotel from getting a 5-star rating. Breakfast was lacking. Biscuits were hard as hardtack- dry and tasteless.

The property was good and all was well. However, the food for the breakfast was terrible. Juice was watery. Eggs were runny. Sauage was rubbery. Also, I only wanted a king bed but I had brought my dog and they changed me into 2 queen beds and increased my bill. I wish that had been disclosed when I was booking or I would have chosen to go somewhere else.

Great hotel. Good location. Great staff! Pool was very warm! Breakfast had a variety of food. Only two complaints were the tub didn't have a plug to take a bath. The breakfast had expired milk and they had no other milk. However I would certainly stay here again!
