Beautiful property with wonderful staff. The valet parking is mandatory at 50$ a night, but they have a shuttle that will take you to any of the restaurants located within a 2 mile radius. The room was very clean and the bathroom had everything needed. Many restaurants, shops and things to do were nearby. The only criticism would be the bed was extra extra firm and not very comfortable. The pillows were all huge and the same size / level of plushness as well. They did have some construction going on which added some paint smells and required the hot water to be turned off between midnight and 6am so the comfort could have been better.

Edgewood is a great place to stay . Rooms are big and clean . Property is well kept . The hotel shuttle takes you 2 miles around which is very convenient if you want to go out . Hotel is pretty close to heavenly village, casinos and marina . Great private beach and jacuzzi . I will go back!!’ Love it !!

I loved the spa facility. However, you need to purchase a message or treatment to enjoy the steam room and the jacuzzi. You get 3 hours to enjoy the spa facility which includes snacks and tea in the common co-ed area, refreshing drinking water outside the steam room, lockers, showers, shampoo, hair dryers, hair gel, make up remover. We also enjoyed the outside heated swimming pool which includes an amazing jacuzzi. The hotel includes three restaurants. The food was good. Our room was quiet and comfortable. I also liked the glass of champagne provided at check-in and the hotel shuttle that brings anywhere within a 2-mile radius from the hotel.

Waking up to sunrise over the lake was unforgettable. Dining at The Bistro was exceptional—delicious, fresh dishes and gorgeous fire pit seating with lake views. Room service was quick and tasty, too. The resort’s amenities are just as impressive: a serene full-service spa, heated lakeside pool, and nightly s’mores by the fire pit created a memorable atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting in summer or winter, Edgewood offers activities for every season, including private beach access, golf, and easy ski shuttle service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always eager to help, from valet to front desk. Every detail—from design to service—reflects luxury and care. This is more than a hotel; it’s a destination. Edgewood is like an oasis of peace and relaxation in the middle of hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. It is all there - hotel, beach on the lake, pool, jacuzzi, golf course…You don’t have to drive anywhere, stress over parking at the beach, all you have to do is relax, enjoy - and have another snack or cocktail delivered to you!

The best places to stay in south lake Tahoe. The pool was under repair but otherwise great experience as always. Amazing dinner and views. Great activities available as well. Be sure to reserve ahead for the club house dinning.

Beautiful location on the lake with semi-private beach. The grounds are immaculate as is the golf course. 3 restaurants plus room service. The outdoor gas fire pits are really nice.

Awesome Resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food & drinks at the Bistro Restaurant were terrific. The shuttle rides to/from town were timely and a final nice surprise upon checkout was the Valet’s had fully charged my EV without me asking. Looking forward to my next stay.

Beautiful hotel, stunning lake. Staff all lovely and helpful. I feel that the Compulsory valet parking at $50 a day is unnecessary on top of the price of the room and resort fee. Kids loved the s’mores in the evening and the pool was warm.

One of the best stays we've ever had! They scored in all the departments - cleanliness, hospitality, food, amenities, resort quality, and much more. We got the lakeside view king room and loved it! We enjoyed the heated pool and smores by the fireside during our stay. We tried the bistro for brunch and the fine dining restaurant for dinner. Impeccable!

The Edgewood is beautiful, immaculate and comfortable. The staff is very customer oriented without being stuffy, we loved our stay!

I felt the resort was an excellent property. However little slights like towels were of a quality that was of a more lower rated hotel. The room service was not very good or prompt. One day our room wasn’t cleaned until 4:00pm another day at 3:00 pm. That is unacceptable. They constantly took away our extra towels and did not replace the extras. The shower/toilet area with being in the same space had us wiping up the floor each time the shower was used. They tried to be advanced with this but it really does not work. The staff in general was excellent and helpful, although it was hard to communicate with them because of a language barrier. When I tried to walk the path on the golf course I was told because of liability I was not able to. Therefore I had to walk outside the facility. Not a very good practice. I would just sign a liability waiver and walk at my own risk.

We have been coming here for years. After this recent visit, I have 2 complaints. Let me preface this by saying this is shoulder season, so it's not terribly crowded. First complaint - restaurant service was exceedingly slow, as in horrible. Second complaint - for a 5 star rating, the sheets were scratchy and low quality rough (I came home with a rash on my legs). The toiletries were low quality as well (did not seem like true L'Occitane quality). I love this resort, will come back, but i think they can provide better quality amenities and service, especially for the price.

The cleanliness of the room is poor. We found a sock from the previous guest. There were candies and other dirty things on the carpet.

Room was an excellent size with great views and a patio. Whether it be the check in staff, the cleaning team, the starter at the golf club or the hospitality team, all are there to make sure you’re enjoying your stay and in full holiday mode. Property is amazing, and a special shout out to the staff at brooks bar - we were going to eat out a lot more but found that place, the views, the atmosphere and the staff incredible.

Edgewood has been on my bucket list for some time. It is no wonder this hotel has a Michelin star - the grounds are absolutely stunning, met against an idyllic backdrop of lake and mountains. Wow! We enjoyed the two restaurants a great deal. Both are exquisite: one is an elevated sports bar overlooking the golf course and lake, with delicious fare. The second, the Bistro, a more refined experience with lovely cuts of meat and truffle-infused mashed potatoes. The service in both places is on point. Full stop. Our hotel room, however - we stayed in one of the lake view rooms - was highly disappointing: the furniture is clunky, outdated, and too-old for luxury comfort, the amenities are very scant - like embarrassingly scant - and the overall layout and aesthetic was just negelected. This is an example of bad design, textile selection, and layout. Conversely, the lobby and hotel grounds give lux, fashion, now, and have very very chic furniture - wow! We must also mention the pool and jacuzzi (the largest I've ever been in), the fireplaces, elegant fire pits and smores, & loungers. Again, just stunning. Our experience of Edgewood's lodging was not a luxurious one. Anyone who appreciates Belmond, Rosewood, Oberoi, Taj, and others will tell you that immediately. However, the hotel's grounds elevate the space to world-class standards, this much is true. But to say the hotel rooms are anything over 4-stars is unfair to bonafide 5-star lodging. Excellent for weddings & galas!

Noisy room. No empowerment given to managers so receiving understanding to move out room was not met with any kind of flexibility by Matthew the night mgr.very disappointing stay after visiting property so many other times! We were also lied to regarding room availability by mgr

The resort was great. The only recommendation I would have is to add more lights in the rooms - it was hard to see even in the day time. Otherwise,it was a great experience.

What an incredible resort! The location is perfect, right on the lake feels like in the most remote area yet minutes from everything. The shuttle can take you anywhere within the area. The resort and grounds itself is spectacular. I’ve never experienced such a 5 star caliber resort that caters to families/children. So many activities and things to do on the grounds. The rooms are very spacious! The beds and pillows are a bit hard but that would be the only thing. 10/10 would absolutely come back and stay longer!

Very friendly and quick services . Stander rooms are small. other then that its a wonderful place .

Everything was great, except the pillows. They were all too stiff and big. We were not able to sleep well. You should provide softer pillows with less filling. Most of the four star hotels provide variety of pillows. All the pillows in room were same size and same filling.

The hotel is very nice but as far as our room, the bed and pillows were really uncomfortable and the smoke detector had a bright light shining down on my face all night so I didn’t sleep well. We had the temp set to 65 but I don’t think it was working because I was hot all night. For the money it costs, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Holy cow what a beautiful place. They put us in an ADA room at first and it wasn't that great, so I was happy when they relocated us. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. The scenery astounding. The ducks come right up to your door!

I come twice a year to Edgewood. They would not upgrade the room or price match even though there were rooms available and I overpaid. They were very inflexible in that aspect. Also I asked for a later check out. We were dining at the restaurant. They said they didn’t do late checkouts then eventually said ok. For the price you pay it’s nice to get an upgrade from time to time. They have yet to do so.

This is an average hotel masquerading a 5 star. The levels of service or comfort is nowhere close to what you get at a 4 seasons or Ritz. Our specific feedback : 1. Room service was not done till 5 pm. When we came back after a day at the slopes we were frustrated to see that the room was not made up. When I called the front desk, they said they'll send someone in 20 mins. We waited till 6 and then when I called again, they said they will "try" and send someone and gave us a 4 hour window. 2. Food is terrible - Very very limited vegetarian or vegan options. 3. They have a great shuttle service. But getting someone to actually answer your call is a pain. Be prepared to call them atleast 4-5 times before they pick your call. 4. Valet service was efficient and good. 5. If you have a tablet in your room, make sure it is a usable one. You have to order room service, valet etc on the tablet.This was a tablet from the early 2000s. Nightmare to use. All in all - This is just an average hotel with 5 star prices.

Terrible service. Front desk doesn’t care. I called downstairs to complaint about noise at 11 PM. Front desk said there’s 3 weddings going on. Like I was second class compared to the others. My family and had a hard time sleeping. Then, in the morning, room service told us it was a 2 hour wait for breakfast. Seriously? Worst stay ever.

Beautiful property and really nice accommodations. The only concern was the front desk staff. There were errors at check in and check out - with what seemed to be a disinterest. I also inquired about joining the properties rewards- and didn’t know of any of the companies other properties- and little care of the companies program. In which, upon our investigation one of their other properties was the Broodmor, which we had visited in 2023. Not a welcoming front desk. Most all of the other employee interaction was quite nice.

Absolutely beautiful property. Nice rooms too. Only downside was the service was not up to standard for the price, as well as the additional charges on top of the room cost like hotel fees and parking. Otherwise very beautiful place but for that price not sure if it was fully up to standards.

Overall, everything was excellent, though some staff members seemed unfriendly or lacked warmth. This is an area for improvement.

The hotel facility is nice. We like the easy access to the beach from the room. The morning juices, evening marshmallows and fireplaces throughout the resort are nice touches. The service is however subpar. All the staff were very nice but there were many things overlooked. We had to request for a crib three times (including one before arrival) to get it. The tablet in the room was broken so it was very hard to order room service. We called twice to fix it but no one bothered to for 4 days. Housekeeping wasn't done after 3 hours of request. The concierge is really helpful though.

One of the absolutely most beautiful short stay vacation I've ever experienced! The place is gorgeous.. surrounded by trees and water and just the most beautiful location for a resort! The staff services was untouchable! If I can rate this place 10stars I would!

Beautiful property! Would definitely stay there again. Being so close to the water was great - very peaceful. Service in the bar and bistro was a bit hit or miss but the food was very good. Loved the outdoor fire tables and the indoor lobby fireplace to relax by. The complimentary shuttle to areas close by was very convenient. Concierge staff were super helpful. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Excellent service! Truly felt like a 5 star experience and everything on the grounds/rooms is aesthetically pleasing! Plus the bath supplies smell amazing! 5 star food at the Edgewood red also!

Beautiful location No place to stay or change if you have a long gap between room checkout and leaving the hotel. Limited breakfast dining menu Generally poor basic dining service at breakfast. Not providing cutlery, broken tea pots served. Inflexibility in serving consumers dining requirements. Not what I would expect for a so called 5 star establishment. Slow service Disappointing

Loved staying here. The staff couldn’t do more for you. The Edgewood Restaurant was ok. I expected better food for fine dining.

The food at the restaurant was exceptional but the wait staff did not come close to the high-quality food which was wonderful. rooms are beautifully designed and attention to detail was excellent.

The resort was beautiful. The views were incredible. The only issue we had was the food service was either short staffed or lacked experience. It took a really long time for orders to be taken in the three instances we ate at the resort. The service at the bar was by far the best.

Our first dinner upon arrival that day, at the Bistro was probably our worst dining experience in our 50 years of marriage. Our waiter or (waiters) were not very attentive at all. We were seated at 6:15pm and did not get our entree until 7:30pm. My filet was not prepared as ordered. This event was a horrible experience and was not the way we should have begun our celebration of fifty years of marriage. It pretty much ruined most of our trip.
