Beautiful mansion with large rooms and activities both inside the hotel and outside. Ping pong and billiards were a hit!

Everything was amazing! I can't wait to return. Very comfortable and elegant, welcoming. Easy check-in. Quiet and peaceful! My only comment or "negative" would be I didn't see an elevator or accessibility options. It seems like almost all the rooms are up a tall flight of stairs and the steps at the entrance, so just beware if you have a lot of items, are disabled, or elderly.

This is a very impressive historical building with 11 rooms. The house is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are also beautiful and very serene. The room we had was spacious! Most rooms are on the second floor except two ADA room on first floor and a private bungalow. If you are not mobile to go up second floor, you should ask for first floor room, since this facility does not have elevator. The basement offers a wine cellar with a small pool table and a make-shift ping pong table. It is added fun to take a few shots. The facility is nice to just walk through the common area and look at the architectural design. This facility offers a quaint inn atmosphere. Nice experience.

The website where we booked listed this as a B&B which turned out otherwise. Since we were in the private cottage, we had to go over to the main house to have coffee even though there was a kitchen in our cottage. Also, the room with the queen bed was so small, the person sleeping against the wall has to crawl over the other person to get out of the bed. The cottage was clean but a strange room configuration.

Family birthday party in area. So we weren’t looking for frills. However we enjoyed the cottage especially the porch.

Beautiful old home, height ceilings, fine finishes, lovely plaster walls and trim. A pleasure to stay in the room. Bathroom was amazing with a double vanity that was elegant and imposing. A feast for the eyes. Magnificent magnolia tree. Friendly staff and plenty of parking.

This old (over 130 years) but nicely refurbished property is more like an AirBnB without the breakfast. No staff is there to greet or check you in or help with luggage. You walk up to the front door and use a PIN code ot open the front door and then, likely, go up the stairs to find your room which has a different PIN # to allow you to enter. The rooms are very large with comfortable beds and sizable en-suite baths. The appropriately furnished downstairs rooms for sitting or potentially snacking have have motion sensor switches that light the rooms. There is a basement (wine cellar) also provided with motion sensor lights that have a small pool table on one side and a ping pong table on the other side. In the snacking area, there is a K cup coffee maker, a small refrigerator and the makings for tea as well with both china cups and to-go cups provided. I must note that the stairs, though very attractive are quite steep and the handrail quite low on one side. There is also an interior backstairs that was locked at the ground floor level was was not useful for guests on the in upper floor. The grounds surrounding are very nice and the property is situated within an upscale residential area. While this property is very pleasing in many aspects, I miss the interaction with staff in both welcoming and assisting with any questions about dining and sightseeing options in the area.

This place could be nice but actually isn't. It has no AC/heater. This place is a motel 6 in disguise. Some people are okay with a motel 6 so the rating is relative to what is acceptable to you. Its old so its what you would expect in an old building, old smell and paper thin walls. The checkin is easy and staff is nice. The place lacks the convenience of most hotels. If you're looking for something affordable and are okay with sacrificing comfort then this is the place for you.

Needs better upkeep, holes in walls patched,new paint. It was quiet and grounds were pretty.

Chateau is such a charming place. We loved the ambience of the chateau. The rooms are all a good size and super clean with nice bathrooms. The easy check in is a plus for all travelers. The area is safe, parking was great, and we had a quiet stay. We are definitely returning to stay. Cheers.

Terrible. Ordered through Expedia, fully paid, text said to call when I arrive, and they would not release my room code without me giving them my credit card number, over the phone. I did not have my card on me, so I’d be stuck if I didn’t find another way. It was a plain awful experience after a long drive. The inside is dusty, old feeling, hasn’t been painted in years, mold in the tub. The stairs are pretty steep and easy to trip on. Could not see an elevator, is it ADA? Cameras everywhere so you feel untrusted. Room had only two dim lights. Only one nightstand lamp and one ceiling bulb. Coffee was ok, that’s the highlight, except you have to go downstairs to the kitchen to get/make it from pods. The building is a cool old Victorian, but needs SERIOUS updating. So it felt more like a horror movie setting, Bates motel, the Shining IDK. But mainly the age and support were disappointing to say the least.

We had a wonderful stay. After a long day hiking at Pinnacle National Park this hotel had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable room, very quiet. Would absolutely stay here again if I needed a place to stay in the area.

Check-in process was super easy despite not having a manned front desk. No extras, but exactly what we needed. Clean and quiet. Pretty property.

Steep stairs to get to our room. Enjoyed the historic property with a comfortable large room and private bathroom.

The property is lovely and the staff is very friendly! The only thing is the WiFi was very spotty and we couldn’t get work done or watch movies. Also, the walls are pretty thin and you hear your neighbors so it’s a little loud. But the property is gorgeous and definitely worth the drive. It’s truly a unique experience!

The rooms were so spacious and the house was a vintage beauty. We booked two rooms and there was a fridge in both. Portable heaters and fans were available in each as well. I like the remote staffing, because it made the experience more personal and helped ease the tension. We felt more relaxed exploring the home without staff hovering nearby. Beautiful inn surrounded by a quiet and safe neighborhood. Would gladly book again.

This is a beautiful historic structure with lovely gardens. Expectedly the lighting and not water availability aren't up to modern standards. Neither is mattress, but that can be easily upgraded (?)

It was a great stay! We would come back any chance we get. The bed in 209 can be a bit softer. Otherwise its a great stay. A true beautiful hidden gem

We had a very nice night at the chateau. The room was charming and spacious.

I arrived around 9 pm, very tired from working and driving, loaded up with my bags ready to set everything down in the room I had paid for in full at the time of booking. Unfortunately the owners have zero empathy or courtesy. They refused to let me into the room until I gave them my credit card info for incidentals. So I guess they expected me to drop my bags in the middle of the hall so i could dig out my wallet and then read out my credit card information right there in the hallway. I'd like to reiterate that the room was paid for IN FULL IN ADVANCE. I was not making some effort to get a free room or take advantage of them, I simply wanted to set my bags in the room so I could pull out my wallet. Owners are FAR MORE concerned with obtaining your credit card details than providing good service. Property looked decent from the outside, though it was dark. The owner told me I had to cancel the reservation immediately or he would not refund me. I did immediately contact Expedia, who called the owner and got approval for the refund. The owner then proceeded to harass me by email for several days threatening that he wasn't going to refund me....even though I had already received confirmation of the refund from Expedia. All around terrible experience that I DO NOT recommend.

Absolutely loved the room and property and would have given it a five star if the check in process was easier. After a long day of travel the last thing I wanted was to give credit card information to a person I could barely understand over the phone. Had to ask to repeat questions and had to repeat my answers multiple times. Very irritated by the time I got to my room. Again, the room and the entire home was perfect, just the check in process was annoying, very. I will return and hope this is cleaned up by then.

Had difficulty talking/understanding on the phone with reservation host. All too weird with no one on site to ask questions nor seeing anyone with authority.

Overall it was a good experience , but there were a few things that could have made my stay even better . This place does not have any staff at the property . You have to call a number provided at the door . Only then will you get the code to get inside the building and the code to your room . This place doesn’t have central heating . The hotel provides you with a small portable heater . They also don’t have an elevator and the 20 steps to get to the second floor are very steep and that makes it even more challenging to carry your luggage upstairs . I did love the fact that this place is very clean and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The decor is exquisite and This probably makes up for all the other services that are lacking .

I liked the appearance and well kept grounds. The room was clean and felt very relaxing. Although I did not “see” the staff, they were readily available to speak to and respond via text. Parking was excellent too. I will definitely keep this location in mind for future trips in this area.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Chateau Coralini. It was an incredibly quiet place, away from traffic and noise. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are very spacious (especially compared to a regular motel/hotel room). The owners were super friendly, and helpful. It was great to have a pretty grounds to walk around, and a fun ping/pong and billiards game room to relax in. We stayed here and drove to the west side of Pinnacles in the morning. Very nice place to stay if visiting the park. Highly recommend!

I checked in at 10pm and in the cold dark night outside the building after my Uber left I had to spend 10 minutes at least to check in over the phone. They wouldn’t answer the call so I have to call multiple times and they asked me to read out my card info there. This was not a smooth process. After I checked in, I was able to enter the building. The facility was very old and worn out. They provided portable heaters for the night. I’m the morning when leaving i saw their lounge area had coffee pods and tea bags and the grounds of the property was pretty. I would say it was a romantic place but do NOT check in late or when cold.

Not bad for what it is. Don't expect a standard hotel. You are in a neighborhood next to a park and residential area. No one is onsite to check you in, but they picked up the call immediately. Its clean, safe, in reasonable condition. Expect prices to go up when there's an event going on nearby like raceway.

Great and unique experience living in a historic house. It’s located in a nice and pretty neighborhood. The setting is like a bed-and-breakfast but without breakfast. We were the first guests to arrive at the house. It’s a little scary if we were the only one staying in the house.

The property is very charming. While mainly an event venue, as a one or more days stay it is a real value. A similar hotel would have been about 50% more. It is close to old town Salinas and the Steinbeck center, as well as a half hour from Monterey. Very quiet and lovely grounds.

This a quaint place, off the beaten path. I loved the old architecture and antique furnishings. Very large bedroom and bathroom. It will be at the top of my list for accomodatuons any time I am in the area.

Setting is very peaceful and the facility is quiet.

The Chateau is beautiful and comfortable. The check-in process was easy. A quiet and beautiful place, close to town and easy access to food.

It was simply an overnight stay. It was a new & interesting experience. The check in was done via phone as there was no on site check in. There was a person, however, that is apparently on site for cleaning services. It is a historic home locally. There was security in the area & felt very safe. It is in good condition. The room was clean & spacious. All the rooms appear to be on the second floor. There is no elevator. There is no breakfast, but coffee is available. It was a good overnight stay & will probably stay there again when I’m next in Salinas.

Location was fabulous . House and furnishings were lovely. Problems - toilet seat not screwed tight and I almost fell off. Toilet handle came off in my hand - luckily my husband is handy and fixed it. No box of tissues. Tiny trash can - since you’d probably bring food in, it needs to be bigger. Good and bad
