Villa Deluxe at Ocean Village

My only concert was, the place needs some upgrades. Fans outside was rusty, bathtub was leaking, but above all, my staying was great, easy check in, very friendly employees, very spacious and very clean. The cleaners were super friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back.

This villa had a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. The Maria restaurant directly next door had nice meals and sunset dining. The difficulty of the restaurant next door was that it was loud in the evenings (music, dishes and staff talking, singing). This villa is in need of much attention especially for the price they are asking for daily rental. It is bare bones inside and minimal care has been taken with upkeep. Yard never private as staff is always coming by to clean pool or garden in and out all day. One word of caution…when checking they put a $1000 hold on our credit card which was not a concern however upon check out we were told upon inspection where each item of the home was inventoried to ensure we didn’t steal anything, we were told that the mattresses had urine stains and that our children (who are 13 and 15) “pee peed” in the beds. I assured them my teens have not wet the bed in a decade and upon showing them every matress even my own had urine stains they finally agreed and released my $1000 back to my credit card. The room with the 2 queens had the worst urine stained mattresses I’ve ever seen. Before leaving my wife always helps the staff and fully strips the beds. I was embarrassed being blamed and realized they must not remove the cotton mattress topper if they did not know the stains were there. This is a whole other hygiene issue if that is the case. FYI make them show you the mattresses upon check in they don’t try to charge you.
