This room has an amazing view & most amenities needed. The ocean is a 10 second walk from your lanai. Sunrise is spectacular & you will find many other guests to share the experience with. It is a short walk from Lava lava restaurant which makes for easy breakfast & convenient cocktails & yard games. Daily yoga at Kauai shores hotel. Pool, hot tub, grill, lovely & super close. The grounds are immaculate. The room, however, is desperately in need of a deep cleaning. Mold on curtain, shower curtain, wall appliances, vents. Built up goopy dust on lamps & behind bed. Stains on lamp shade and bed covers. Dirt on dishes and utensils.There is a locked door to adjacent room & sound carries as if you are in the same room as your neighbors. We loved our stay but the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired.

The property is great. Grounds are clean, poolside is just right. We liked the boardwalk for some exercise and the beach is nice ambiance for relaxing (but there's better beaches on Kauai). The room is a studio, so know that it's not huge. I wouldn't want to try to cram 4 people in this and the kitchenette is tiny to the point of dainty. But for the price you get good value. Surprisingly well equipped for the size and great bathroom. If you want a sunrise room (we did) this one is perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay. You can't beat the ocean views from the balcony. The property was beautiful, and it was great to have beach access and a pool to use. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the property and our room. The AC was cold; the bed was comfortable. The property is close to shopping and restaurants. There is a small Frig in the room. We grabbed ice from an ice maker on the property and made drinks in our room to enjoy on the balcony or by the pool. The wifi worked great and it was easy to use the code to access the room. The condo has silverware, plates, bowls, cups and bbq tongs for the gas bbqs that we used a couple times. We’ll be back.

Keypad lock is an adventure. No key you could leave in room and lock the door. Best view from balcony because facing east. Property well managed, very quiet since the block is central on property and pool bar closes at 9:00 pm. Walk/bike pass vis a vis. Short distance into all directions for exploring the island. Market cross the street and coffee shop on property avoids travel by car for urgent things. Brewery around the corner with excellent food.

This was our second stay in this unit, we love the location overlooking the beach and the pool. The Islander is such a beautiful place with quaint plantation style architecture, lovely grounds, and the pool and tiki bar (the Sandbar) literally steps from the beach. Just across the parking lot is the Coconut Marketplace with lots of shops, places to eat and activities like hula and fire knife dances, and the farmers' market is a great place to pick up fresh tropical fruit. Located just south of Kapa'a makes it easy to get to either the north shore or south shore. The room is comfortable and well equipped. Communication with Kauai Vision Rentals was timely and easy, both by email and text. This is by far our favorite place to stay on Kauai, we're already looking forward to our next visit.

This corner unit is on the second floor with an unobstructed view of the ocean. There is lots of shopping and a number of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Islander on the Beach is a very well maintained and quiet complex. No traffic or other noise (except of course the crowing roosters that are everywhere on the island).

Outstanding location just a few steps from the beach. Lanai has fine view as well. Coconut market has most of what you need in walking distance. Management was quick and responsive to address an issue. Unit interior is a bit dated, but clean. Tiny kitchen sink seems par for these units, but would benefit from upgrades.

This property is an ocean front unit which makes it excellent. However, the unit requires a lot of work. The bed is not comfortable (noisy - for every turn while sleeping, as such you can't sleep) sounded like the mattress is wrapped in hard plastics! The utensils, coffee cups are dirty, can't access WIFI as the information provided on the check-in paper's is not correct, Lastly, on day one of our stay, we've already received message instructions, on checkout process and this was followed on day two!!!! I'm giving it a 3 stars for location but other than that it would be a one star.

Great location and beautiful property. Beach nice to sit at and look even if you cant swim there. Gounds well maintained and fantastic to look at. Unit was nice with enjoyable view, except a bit of mold in the shower. Safe was locked upon entry so couldn't be used. Emailed property but didnt get a response. Wasnt an issue for me. Could use another set of towels since no maid service. Location near Coconut Market was very convenient. and Safeway just up the road was nice. Overall it was great and would stay there again

Aston Islander is in a wonderful location. Easy access from the airport, very to close to good restaurants, shopping, and of course the beaches. We stayed in unit 245, having stayed at the islander before, the rooms seem pretty much the same. This unit had two small refrigerators which was quite convenient. Second floor balcony is a good blend of view and privacy. The only mild issue was that the balcony was not swept and was quite sandy, but luckily there was a broom and dust pan in unit. We did also have one of the metal patio chair legs break from being corroded through, but you're only 30 ft from the ocean so these things happen. The owners are very communicative and professional and I would highly recommend renting from them.

We enjoyed our stay on Kauai, not only because of the environment, nature, turtles, sealife, food but also because of the lovely condo. Situated on the first floor, close to the beach with a actual beachview. The condo was clean had enough towels, soaps, etc. Perfect place to stay! If we return we will definitely go for the condo again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. We did find that the room could have used a little sprucing up. Some dusty areas could be found. Overall, we had everything we needed there. Great location with shopping within walking distance. Absoultly beautiful grounds to wander around!!!

I have stayed in this group of condos before and this condo has the best location with the best view for the price. This condo was very clean and well maintained. The condo owner and management communications were great and they provided a lot of information well before our check in to be sure our stay was issue free. I would definitely rent this condo again in the future.

The unit is perfectly located, on the the 2nd of 3 floors in a beautifully landscaped older resort, very close to the ocean and the pool. Management was responsive and the property description was accurate. The unit includes a big, old microwave and 2 refrigerators, essentially in the bedroom. The cabinets in the bedroom are full of dishes, silverware, etc. There is one smallish wardrobe for guests to use. The unit was not especially clean and the dirty broom and dustpan stood in the corner of the bathroom; there was a broom closet, but it was locked. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay, and are glad we chose it. It would have been more relaxing and nicer if the unit were updated and there was less bedroom space devoted to kitchen stuff. We enjoyed the other guests we met at the resort, and loved walking up and down the coast in the morning. To the south, there's a beachside restaurant, and to the north, there's a Starbucks in a hotel. Also, it's easy to drive all over the island from this central location.

Walking distance to multiple restaurants. Property has beautiful, well-maintained landscaping and pool. This unit needs a new mattress and some simple touchup. Instructions for wifi and TV had errors that took too much time to figure out. That's an easy fix. Would stay here again.

Extended our stay prior to check in for a total of 9 days. Two adults. 4 towels. 1 roll toilet paper. On Tuesday when they checked on us I advised we needed towels and TP and was told I need to pay $85 for a mid week service (staying NINE days and not ONE towel change out?) the property will not allow use of on site COIN laundry so we spent 3 hours at a laundromat up the road to wash towels, Walmart to buy toilet paper. Side notes: this unit is farthest from beach not a beach/ocean view. Shower has terrible pressure and 50/50 shot on getting hot water (most showers were cold) Toilet runs and flushes on its own every 3-4 flushes. Hair dryer did not work. Limited amenities provided by owner. Normally we stay at Plantation Hale or Paniolo (Princeville) We travel to Kauai 2-3 times per year This location is excellent but Plantation Hale is next door with larger units, more amenities at about the same cost. We do not plan on staying a second time in this unit due to: wanting us to pay $85 for TP and Towels on a 9 day stay, very few amenity items in room, poor plumbing. We grabbed ice from an ice maker on the property and made drinks in our room to enjoy on the balcony or by the pool. The wifi worked great and it was easy to use the code to access the room. The condo has silverware, plates, bowls, cups and bbq tongs for the gas bbqs that we used a couple times. We’ll be back.

Great location and wonderfully groomed grounds. The room though was substandard. From modem speed internet (used the open Aston Wi-Fi instead) to sub pillows, old filter type coffee maker and the old key holder fortunately worked. Small things, yes, but easy things to fix. Room looks like its easy to maintain but wasn't met to be comforting to guests. About sum's it up.

Besides a very difficult to open and close slider out to the lanai (roller was frozen) and inadequate lighting over the sink (fixture was missing) all went well. This corner unit is on the second floor with an unobstructed view of the ocean. There is lots of shopping and a number of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Islander on the Beach is a very well maintained and quiet complex. No traffic or other noise (except of course the crowing roosters that are everywhere on the island).

Perfect location in an affordable area. Property was well maintained and directly on the beach. Directly next door is Lava Lava Beach Club, a nice place for dinner each night. Also sits behind The Coconut Market where there’s free Hula Shows nightly. Property owner was great to work with reached out quickly to make sure all was well. A really great location priced very nicely. Five stars! Would definitely rent again.

This place was so convenient and perfect for us! I loved being able to walk to the beach and watch the sunrise. It was super clean and i loved that they had a coffee maker. Very close to multiple restaurants and a little grocery. Space was exactly as described.

Great location and beautiful property. Beach nice to sit at and look even if you cant swim there. Gounds well maintained and fantastic to look at. Unit was nice with enjoyable view, except a bit of mold in the shower. Safe was locked upon entry so couldn't be used. Emailed property but didnt get a response. Wasnt an issue for me. Could use another set of towels since no maid service. Location near Coconut Market was very convenient. and Safeway just up the road was nice. Overall it was great and would stay there again

I have stayed in this group of condos before and this condo has the best location with the best view for the price. This condo was very clean and well maintained. The condo owner and management communications were great and they provided a lot of information well before our check in to be sure our stay was issue free. I would definitely rent this condo again in the future.

This is our second time staying at Aston, first time in this unit. Overall beautiful property. The room had all the essentials and overall very clean and quiet even though it is closer to the parking lot. Can use some little upgrades such as newer towels, additional floor mat inside by the door, more lights in the room. Appreciate the management team replacing the hair dryer so promptly. Thank you for a great stay.

Extended our stay prior to check in for a total of 9 days. Two adults. 4 towels. 1 roll toilet paper. On Tuesday when they checked on us I advised we needed towels and TP and was told I need to pay $85 for a mid week service (staying NINE days and not ONE towel change out?) the property will not allow use of on site COIN laundry so we spent 3 hours at a laundromat up the road to wash towels, Walmart to buy toilet paper. Side notes: this unit is farthest from beach not a beach/ocean view. Shower has terrible pressure and 50/50 shot on getting hot water (most showers were cold) Toilet runs and flushes on its own every 3-4 flushes. Hair dryer did not work. Limited amenities provided by owner. Normally we stay at Plantation Hale or Paniolo (Princeville) We travel to Kauai 2-3 times per year This location is excellent but Plantation Hale is next door with larger units, more amenities at about the same cost. We do not plan on staying a second time in this unit due to: wanting us to pay $85 for TP and Towels on a 9 day stay, very few amenity items in room, poor plumbing. The property itself is beautiful and Coconut Marketplace is our favorite. Couple good restaurants: Vinny Bs and Hukilau within steps. Beach is within steps and quiet. Management was responsive and the property description was accurate. The unit includes a big, old microwave and 2 refrigerators, essentially in the bedroom. The cabinets in the bedroom are full of dishes, silverware, etc. There is one smallish wardrobe for guests to use. The unit was not especially clean and the dirty broom and dustpan stood in the corner of the bathroom; there was a broom closet, but it was locked. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay, and are glad we chose it. It would have been more relaxing and nicer if the unit were updated and there was less bedroom space devoted to kitchen stuff. We enjoyed the other guests we met at the resort, and loved walking up and down the coast in the morning. To the south, there's a beachside restaurant, and to the north, there's a Starbucks in a hotel. Also, it's easy to drive all over the island from this central location.

Property well managed, very quiet since the block is central on property and pool bar closes at 9:00 pm. Walk/bike pass vis a vis. Short distance into all directions for exploring the island. Market cross the street and coffee shop on property avoids travel by car for urgent things. Brewery around the corner with excellent food.

We absolutely loved our stay. You can't beat the ocean views from the balcony. The property was beautiful, and it was great to have beach access and a pool to use. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of this property is of course amazing, within steps to the beach! But we also really loved that we could walk to a bunch of restaurants and shops. The check in and out processes were easy and the condo was perfect for the two of us!! We loved it!

This room has an amazing view & most amenities needed. The ocean is a 10 second walk from your lanai. Sunrise is spectacular & you will find many other guests to share the experience with. It is a short walk from Lava lava restaurant which makes for easy breakfast & convenient cocktails & yard games. Daily yoga at Kauai shores hotel. Pool, hot tub, grill, lovely & super close. The grounds are immaculate. The room, however, is desperately in need of a deep cleaning. Mold on curtain, shower curtain, wall appliances, vents. Built up goopy dust on lamps & behind bed. Stains on lamp shade and bed covers. Dirt on dishes and utensils.There is a locked door to adjacent room & sound carries as if you are in the same room as your neighbors. We loved our stay but the cleanliness of the room left much to be desired.

This is an excellent value!!! The room was close to the beach, a wonderful resaraunt on the beach (Lava Lava Beach Club) within walking distance. The room and grounds are clean and safe and has a very large parking lot steps away from the door. There is an amazing shoping center with grocery store, shops and food vendors and also Free nightly entertainment! Kapaa is centrally located on the island so it was not a long drive to explore the North or the South end of the island. Communication was excellent at all times regarding the room. Highly Recommend!!!

The room was as advertised, small and simple but adequate for us. Location was great could see the ocean from our balcony and the coconut grove was a great spot for food and shopping. Highly recommend.

This was our second stay in this unit, we love the location overlooking the beach and the pool. The Islander is such a beautiful place with quaint plantation style architecture, lovely grounds, and the pool and tiki bar (the Sandbar) literally steps from the beach. Just across the parking lot is the Coconut Marketplace with lots of shops, places to eat and activities like hula and fire knife dances, and the farmers' market is a great place to pick up fresh tropical fruit. Located just south of Kapa'a makes it easy to get to either the north shore or south shore. The room is comfortable and well equipped. Communication with Kauai Vision Rentals was timely and easy, both by email and text. This is by far our favorite place to stay on Kauai, we're already looking forward to our next visit.
