Father and son weekend trip to watch 2 A’s baseball games. Everything was great. Breakfast was good! Enjoyed pool and exercise room! Only about 15 minutes to game! Very convenient! Would definitely use hotel again for future trips!

Check in went smooth, and the rooms were already done upon arrival since we came from Hayward, so wasnt to sure if the rooms were ready for us. Nice breakfast here as well, cofffee, tea, and water station all day long at the lobby which is good service for the guest ! To bad they charge for the parking here $11 pr. Day shld be complimentary however, but thats my opinion where many hotels nearby offers free parking.

I really appreciated all of the gym equipment. I was able to get a real workout in with strength and cardio rather than just cardio and the space was well-stocked, ventilated and had a TV so made it easy to work out.

The room smelt like mildew, floors were dirty, sheets smelt like mildew, there was toys left under the bed from a previous stay. Stayed a total of 7 hours in the room just to sleep and all night there was noise. Sounded like a fridge was running all night long, thermostats light was so bright in my eyes, couldn’t sleep. I always stay at Hampton when I travel. I didn’t like this one. Also, got juice from the food area at 5(the door was half open) my daughter had surgery and couldn’t eat anything but was thirsty. There was no water or hot water but they had coffee. So I went in to get juice and a guy came in and made me feel wrong about getting my daughter a drink. I pay all this money to not be able to get a cup of juice? Also, your tap water stinks. Invest in a shower filter.

A great escape just when we needed it! The hotel staff were friendly, the hotel room was clean with plenty of towels. The TV was the main form of entertainment in the evenings. We did find a bunch of black lint on the sheets and the drain in the shower still had hair in it from the previous guest but we didnt mind much.

My only complaint is that the carpet in the room was noticeably sticky when walking barefoot. I didn't feel comfortable walking in the room without shoes on. All other amenities and furniture were great! The carpet just needed some attention.

The hotel lobby was clean and appeared recently remodeled, which made a good first impression. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and our room also seemed clean. However, the air conditioner was extremely loud — turning it off made the room too humid, but leaving it on gave me a headache since the unit was positioned directly across from the bed. Because of that, I didn’t sleep well. The pillows were very flat, and the mattress had lost its shape. Breakfast was fairly standard with eggs, cereal, and toast, but the kids really enjoyed making fresh waffles at the waffle station.

Conveniently located next to a city tram stop. Property was modern and clean. The front desk agent was very nice and checking in was easy and very pleasant. Room is very nice and clean, bathroom sink is outside of the shower/toilet which is very convenient when 2 people are getting ready. Breakfast was nice with sufficient choice and ample space for every one to sit down. The person taking care of the area was also very nice. We would love to come back to this hotel, but unfortunately we will have to wait and remove 1 star because the bedding was very disappointing. The entire bed was way too soft (like sinking in) and bouncy, with spring noises, most likely at the end of it's life. One sleeper could not move without having the other bounce up and down. Pillows were unfortunately just like a ball of cotton. Not the best of nights unfortunately...

Hotel was new, very clean, had excellent breakfast but the bed was horrible. I could feel every spring g and felt like I had lumps in my side. If I had been staying more than one night I would have had to switch rooms or hotels if all the beds are like that.

Very clean, new and easy to navigate. Minimal noise from outside despite being next to the highway. I really appreciated how gracious the gentleman manning the breakfast area was; he kept it very clean and even helped me carry my items to the table. Young man at the front desk was helpful in suggesting places to grab a quick inexpensive dinner nearby. Thank you for using unscented laundry products, and for keeping a minimalist aesthetic. Just a few tips: 1) Please provide an opaque cover for the thermostat in the room. It shines too brightly at night. 2) Adjust the door closers so they don't slam. Each slam rattles the whole floor. 3) Put a sign in the bathroom and on the beds suggesting guests re-use their towels and sheets for the duration of their stay, to save water, electricity and gas.

You had a maintenance man that I told no to coming in my room to give me just a little while, and I would be leaving and starting my journey for work while I was naked in my room telling him not to come in he decided to take it upon himself and unlock my door and walk in to change something on my shower After me repeatedly telling him not to this is absolutely unacceptable and the breach of privacy has left me feeling violated if he was so willing to walk in my room with me telling him not to right then to know what he would do while I’m sleeping in there I did not feel safe at all after that

I just want to say that this property went above and beyond for my wife and I. We had to travel to Sacramento for an unfortunate death in the family. They allowed us to check in six hours early so that we could immediately go over to the hospital to say our goodbyes. They also let us check out late and I really just want to thank them for bending over backwards for us during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anybody the customer service is top-notch. Very responsive to any request, they supplied us with paper and pen for all the notes we needed to take, the breakfast was delicious every morning. Again we want to thank all the staff at the hotel for just being top notch.

This is a new property in a great location for CSUS. Even though it’s sandwiched between the freeway & light rail, it wasn’t noticeable while sleeping. They even pack up to go snack sacks if you’re unable to sit & enjoy their delicious free breakfast. Will definitely be booking again.

Stayed here for 5 days to attend a program at Sac State. Entire property was always clean and tidy, we were very comfortable in our room and interactions with staff were consistently positive. It felt safe even tho the immediate neighborhood surrounds are less than pristine (freeway, bus stop, back/service area of shopping center, etc.) Pool area is pretty spartan but we appreciated having the option for a cool dip and some relaxing tan time. Standard Hampton Inn on all fronts, which was a good thing in my opinion. Key amenities available and all well presented!!

A nice newer hotel. The room was clean and roomy and the bed was comfortable. My room was facing the highway and the road noise was minimal. Two things you should know prior, one they charge a $11.50 parking fee and two, there's a homeless camp right across the street.

We loved everything about the property, except for one thing. When we went down for breakfast on Sunday, and there's no other way to say this, it was a mess. There was only one person working the breakfast, and it was very obvious he was overwhelmed by the amount of people. He couldn't keep up with the demand, and my wife and I thought it was very unfair that he had to handle it all by himself. Because he was on his own, the food choices were limited at best. The hotel needs to improve in this area if they are going to offer a free breakfast. Other than that, we loved the hotel. It was clean and quiet.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. The only thing I can say that needs improving on is the amount of breakfast staff. There was only one girl trying to cook, clean and stock everything. Last week we waited 30 mins. For the omelets, potatos and sausage to be refilled. Today was better, but people stay there for work and medical appointments, we all needed to eat and run. She really needs some help.

The breakfast was great and so was the fitness room. Great beds and linens! The fitness room was a bit stuffy and I couldn’t find the remote to turn off a screen no one was watching. The hot water dispenser at breakfast is also unfortunately often a coffee dispenser, so my two cups of tea I brewed to go for a long drive were not drinkable. Perhaps dedicating a hot water carafe that cannot be used for coffee purposes would work lots better.
