The roow was a bit outdated, there was no charge near the bed or a table, the staff were ok

Staff were really helpful when the tv wouldn't work; room was clean but not maintained well: radiator not connected to the wall properly, some charging points didn't work and, in the bathroom there was some black mould in areas and the shower only had 'hot' mode. Bed was clean and comfortable; towels, a kettle and tea/coffee is provided in the room. Location is central to Liverpool Lime Street station and is close to shops and restaurants/takeaways. Unfortunately wifi was none existent in the room we were allocated. Would I stay here again, yes I probably would but things could be improved.

Room was very clean but small for 2 single beds. Adequate for a one night stay but lacked a few things that would have made it more pleasant e.g chair for clothes, WiFi needed to get sorted. There was a draught in the room, which we worked out was an due to open window in front of double glazing which also meant the room was very noisy from bars and revellers below. Positive - great location for what we wanted and a reasonable price.

First of all when I arrived there was no answer on the buzzer and myself and two other guests were left standing outside on the street for 10 mins. Woman on reception had a couldn’t care less attitude. Opened up the door to my room and there was a terrible smell. I went back to reception and the woman had disappeared. Was in a rush so just opened the window and hoped it would have cleared by the time I returned in the evening. Sadly not. The smell was pungent and coming from the en-suite. I dread to think. Room was very very basic as expected but my room faced onto the street and was noisy from music up to 1am and people shouting and screaming until about 4am on a weds night. Be warned you won’t get much sleep. To top it all I was woken up by a cleaner who just unlocked my door and opened it at 7am while I was still in bed. He apologised saying he didn’t know anyone was in here!! When I checked out there was a different lady who I explained everything too and she looked at the room log shrugged her shoulders and just said oh no one’s ticked your room to say it’s occupied… about the smell I asked if I could show her and she said she would check it later! Unbelievable On the whole this was the worst experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Just a wholly unpleasant and revolting experience, this place needs investigating and shut down if necessary. I would give it a zero if I could. Never ever stay in this pit

Vertical blinds on the window were all broken. Shower was cold and holder broken. Budget hotel, so wasn’t expecting much, but really needs an upgrade of the basics. Location excellent.
