There's no individual ventilation in the bathroom, only controlled by central ventilation. Kind of smelly after use. Hot tub is not working, so disappointed. Overall the hotel is modern, clean and convenient.

Loved the pool and sauna. Perfect location downtown, everything walking distance. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Let us use parking before check in. Bathroom is odd, toilet is in a stall in the room, separate from sink. But nice design throughout. Secure building late at night, must use keycard to enter the hotel late. Restaurant is nice, good selection of food and drinks and staff were awesome. Didnt need to know french.

Très bien situé et moderne. La piscine et le bain à remous sont superbes mais l'eau était très sale dans ces 2 installations, disons que ca baisse un peu le degré de satisfaction dans mon cas car j'avais choisi cet hotel pour ca. Mais sinon, vraiment très bel hotel.

Clean, modern, and spacious rooms. Friendly staff and a location that is just steps away from Chinatown and old Montreal. The only downside was that the underground parking has really steep slopes going both in and out which scraped the bottom of our car a few times and could not be avoided (driving a typical Hyundai sedan). Didn’t have time to raise this with the staff but we were able to minimize the scrapes by driving very slowly and off to the side as much as possible. Try to align your tires to go over the visible scrape marks on the ground…do not drive through the centre! Overall a great stay but hopefully this minor setback can be fixed shortly :)

Very spacious room but lacked some decor touches to make the space feel more complete. Found a big balled up hair in the sleeve of one of the robes. Parking was very safe and secure. Walkable to the old port area in ~10 mins

Very clean facility, friendly staff, etc but the one minor negative was that housekeeping did not make up the bed and just neatly covered the spread over unmade sheet/bed for two consecutive days.

The staff were rude and not friendly at all. There systems were down and it was absolute chaos. As we had 2 seperate reservations, it was chaos to merge the 2 nights together. We were given a room across the elevators with excess noise. A group and family beside us which was ridiculous loud and a club happening outside with people screaming all night. We reported the inconveniences and nothing was done. The room had mud on the floor when we entered, the sink was all cracked and the elevator was filled with cleaning carts everytime we travelled. Terrible expereince

The underground parking is just an exercise in almost getting your car to a body shop. It’s built so badly that they had to put padding around some columns. The elevators take forever and the air conditioning was nonexistent. The person at the front desk was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The rooms need real light both in the bathroom and in the room. The rain shower head did not work and the shower wand leaked terribly. We stayed in room 709. The amount of sirens all night long was difficult to drown out. For such an upscale looking place, it was not a stay I would repeat.

The rooms were very hot. Lowering the thermostat did nothing Called the front desk twice about it. They came and adjusted the thermostat too but still nothing. The room never got cooler than 23 degree Celsius. Very hot for sleeping.

Was very close to amenities & Old Montreal as well as St. Catherine’s street which was awesome.. We enjoyed our room for the view up the street to St. Catherine’s. The room was spacious, a little odd the set up with sink/ vanity outside the bathroom for getting ready etc. Was okay as we were a couple but would be awkward for friends together. Would have liked to have one more armchair in room for both of us. There was room for one on one side of bed & another by window for viewing..as we enjoyed that immensely..not to be picky but the type of fabric on chair squeaked every move you made.. Only giving my opinion for any improvements you may be planning.. Enjoyed our stay & are definitely coming back in future. Hope this helps.

The room layout (open concept) was awful. No privacy and anyone sharing the room was disturbed by noise and light And you're stuck stepping from the shower to a dirty floor. if someone wanted to get ready while they slept. A genuinely puzzling design decision that would stop me from staying there again.

Stayed here when I was in Montreal for a conference. Great location downtown and close to everything. Hotel was nice, staff were friendly and accommodating. Double Queen room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was huge for a regular hotel room. The reason for 4 stars was that for some strange reason they decided to use a frosted glass barn door for the bathroom door. It just slides over without latching and there's a good couple inch gap that you can see into the room. Very strange design choice. I shared a room with a coworker so there was zero privacy in the bathroom. Also, our handheld shower (there's also a rainfall showerhead) was broken. We asked maintenance to come and noone ever came in the three days we were there.

The cleaning staff were lovely. The pool is very long and spacious. The Hotel is located in a very convient point of town with tons to do in either direction. The Hotel's systems were down upon check in and no clear direction was given on next steps. This left long check in lines and people lining up and waiting just to be told they needed to go to a different line first. This started our stay off a little frustrating, but it quickly turned around with the service we recieved throughout the rest of our stay.

The hotel and the room were very nice. The service was so so. While we checked in around 7 pm, I asked for some slippers. We waited an hour and didn't get the slippers. My husband called the front desk asked for it again, however, we didn't get them until 11pm, when we were all in bed and ready to sleep. The reason I picked AC hotel this time was because the water in the pool was warm last time we stayed. It was a bit disappointing this time, the temperature of the water was not as nice as last time, the pool was a bit cold. There are so many hotels around this area, this is the feature that makes AC hotel stand out from others for us.

We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in a perfect location, it’s clean and modern with little touches that make it feel really luxurious. We had great experiences with the staff as well, particularly Adam at the front desk who was extremely attentive and helpful. We would absolutely come back again and would highly recommend to anyone visiting montreal.

The hotel required a 200.00 Damage deposit the first day on check in and the hotel staff said it would be applied back on your visa after 5 business days after check out. It’s been 7 and still waiting!!!!!

As a frequent flyer I've stayed at several hotels and I can honestly say Hotel AC is on my list. Check in was good - the room was great, it was spacious, clean, but there was an issue so I was moved to another room in which they upgraded due to the inconvenience. Sam, the gentleman at the front desk did a phenomenal job resolving the issue. Not to mention he was polite, courteous and friendly. Based on his overal professionalism definitely made me want to come back. The was another young lady who worked the shift with him and she was lovely, she recommended a great place ti get the best poutines. There was also the amazing maintenance man who fixed the two issues quickly and effeciently. He was also very approachable and kind. The gyms was great and had all the essentials I needed.

Very clean, excellent location. Average hotel gym, but the pool and surrounding balcony were beautiful! St. Catherine’s street is very close, as is the convention centre and the metro station located there. Lots of food options nearby. Would highly recommend!

The hotel is close to both metro lines 1&2 and there’s a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby, which makes it really convenient to explore in a cold weather. The distance is also walkable to Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal and old port. Love it!

Hôtel was clean, well appointed a great location, and the staff were great. The one less than satisfactory issue was the restaurant breakfast service. There were only two tables seated when we arrived, placed an order and multiple newley seated tables received their food first. Some with the same items ordered. A latte took about 25 minutes to get because “they were out of clean cups” although the place was basically empty upon arrival. Our order took so long we needed to leave to get to the airport before it wbwn arrived, going without breakfast. .

Pour un vendredi soir, resto vide, serveur qui semble inexpérimenté mais sympathique, nourriture moyenne pour le prix, piscine bondée mais normale. Tout était très propre, agréable et confortable. J'y retournerai sans hésiter mais mangerais à l'extérieur.

The hotel location is great, room was spacious, Staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants etc. The one major drawback is the breakfast in the hotel restaurant; they need to do a better job for the prices they charge.
