We stayed one night in a very good small hotel in Portsmouth. Everything was great - the room, the help from the staff, and the location in downtown/old Portsmouth.

A nice place to stay right in town with just a short walk to all of the shops.

The Sailmakers House is rich with local history. It is very clean and updated. They do not have any staff at the house, but it is easy to contact someone if necessary. We enjoyed our stay!

A lovely stop on our way north. Quiet street, a quick walk to all the shops & restaurants. Attentive, friendly staff. Comfy, clean, & quiet room. Excellent bed & shower. Great setup in the lobby for coffee, tea & snacks. Nicely appointed common sitting room. Wouldn’t hesitate to return to this wonderful inn.
