The perfect start to our holiday in Italy. This is an amazing place to stay with such attention to detail. The rooms are lovely, the garden and the flowers stunning. But the breakfast is just superb - all lovingly made onsite with homemake yoghurt, cheeses, cakes. I felt like a princess. I will be back as soon as I can! This was a really great surprise. We booked the Palazzo Albricci Peregrini on a whim to get out of Florence while it was raining. A quick train ride and a short walk from the train station and we were in Como for two nights. The hotel is truly first class and the host Elena was wonderful and quick to offer advice on meals, bookings, etc. The hotel is in a 15th century building with ten rooms that has been updated with all modern conveniences while retaining the look and feel of the 1400s. Also the chef and Elena provided a seven course breakfast (free) meal that put to shame the expensive meal we had in Bellagio.

Staying here was the highlight of our Switzerland/Northern Italy trip. It is the perfect location if you want to to enjoy Como’s historic center…we walked to the same bar each night and were able to walk to different restaurants within 10 minutes. The hotel itself is stunning…the design elements of the hotel and rooms are totally unique. The service was top notch and each night felt like staying at a very stylish friend’s home. The breakfast each day is amazing and the hotel will take care of any excursions you want to do. The lake is a 10 walk away. Can’t recommend enough.

What a gem! Tucked away in the back streets of Como. I can’t fault this place. Staff are amazing, each and every one of them. We were upgraded - however I think every room here is special. We will make this our permanent pit stop on the way to Puglia now. Just a note - the breakfast is an epic affair. Make tummy space and time to enjoy it.

Είχαμε βέβαια μια μικρή περιπέτεια με σκόρο στο ξύλινο ταβάνι που είχε ως αποτέλεσμα να μπει ξύλο στο μάτι της συζύγου μου αλλά ανταποκρίθηκαν άμεσα αλλάζοντας μας δωμάτιο. Το περιβάλλον και διακόσμηση στο πρωινό ήταν εξαιρετική αλλά ο τρόπος σερβιρίσματος ήταν παράξενος. Δεν υπήρχε εικόνα από τι διέθετε συνολικά για πρωινό και έπρεπε να φανταστεί κανείς τι μπορεί να υπήρχε και να το ζητήσει. Έδιναν την αίσθηση ύπαρξης περιορισμού σε ποσότητα και επιλογές. Γιατί αφού δεν υπήρχε οπτική εικόνα ή κατάλογος, υπέθετες τι επιλογές έχεις. Κατά τα λοιπά η διαμονή μας ήταν εξαιρετική!

Elegante dimora in pieno centro. Bellissima stanza, ristrutturata con rispetto. Ampia doccia e soprattutto sanitari in cui anche noi alti dotati di un femore lungo riusciamo a sederci senza fare acrobazie. Personale gentilissimo. Colazione sontuosa. This was an amazing little gem the service was impeccable. If we go back to Como we will go here. This was an unexpected total delight.
