This is the perfect hotel! The location is close to everything and the most amazing views of the acropolis. The owner and staff are so kind and helpful. Highly recommend this quintessential hotel for anyone going to Athens.

Location, location, location! Plaka, Metro, food and libations each within 5 minutes walk. Very nice breakfast. Excellent 24Hr front desk staff. Best hand-helds in town: out the front door, turn left, left again at the top of the street, go about 100 meters & look for the white illuminated souvlaki sign. I won’t look elsewhere for my next visit to Athens.

Terrific location with a nice view of the acropolis. The rooms were clean, though I wish the double twin beds had better mattresses and could have been joined together. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was also very helpful with holding our luggage as we had a late flight. Our primary gripe was a lost/stolen phone charger. We rushed out of the room in the morning to make our tour and left a charger behind. When we returned later, we asked if we could get it from housekeeping or the lost and found. We were told that housekeeping hadn't reported it and there wasn't a lost and found. There was no willingness to contact housekeeping or the people in the room. It was only 20 euros, but the dismissive attitude was maddening. Similarly, a late checkout of only one hour wasn't possible. We were hoping to take a morning tour then return and check out. There was no willingness to assist us.

It's perfect if you're visiting the accropilis and museum. The gift shop around the corner has the best prices and the nearby restauran Greek stories is one of the best. Easy walk to Platka great dining and music and rooftop views. Get take away. Sit on the rooftop and watch the sunset....perfect
