Stayed at the hotel for a conference. Too few elevators. Nice rooftop bar but closes too early. The pool is very nice but very small and so it gets crowded. Breakfast is the same as in all the other hotels of this chain. Good.

Rooftop pool and gym were something you would see in. 5 star hotel Actually a 5 star hotel wouldn’t have a rooftop gym. Amazing value

We had a wonderful stay at The Social Hub Lavagnini! The location is perfect, everything we wanted to do and see was easily walkable, making it simple to explore the city. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and has a really cool, unique vibe. However, I will mention that it was very dimly lit; but once we switched rooms to a higher floor, the lighting and brightness of the room was remarkable better. The common areas are stylish and inviting, and the rooftop pool with its stunning views is a definite highlight. Although our room was missed by housekeeping one day, the staff handled it quickly and professionally by providing us with fresh towels and anything else we needed right away. Their friendly and responsive service really stood out. Overall, this is a great affordable option if you’re looking for a clean, fun, and vibrant place to stay in a beautiful city. Highly recommend!

The social hub is a nice inexpensive hotel. There are 2 in the city. This location has more of a chill vibe than the other location. The other location basically has a club on the roof. This location has. beautiful view of the city from the rooftop pool, which also has a bar. The only negative is it seems as if only 1 elevator serves the rooftop so accessing it may be a little slow. Also the area is first come first serve so it fills up quickly. Other than that great choice - nice area to walk around - and nice hotel for instagram photos in the lobby area.

This hotel was perfect for me and my girlfriend to stay in. They are LGBTQ+ friendly. The room was very spacious and the beautiful tall windows gave us the most incredible view of Florence. Not to mention the AC was ice cold and the water in the shower got nice and hot. We were able to do our laundry on site which was a major plus! Our favorite part was the rooftop pool that we got to enjoy with great drinks from the bar while enjoying the 360 view of the city. Later in the evening there was live music downstairs on the terrace.We loved how out front there were lime scooters conveniently located for us to rent and navigate around the city. Each staff member was so friendly. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again

Nice fun hotel with coworking facilities and games rooms, laundry, breakfasts, lunch options. The rooftop bar with plunge pool was really nice but it gets crowded up there (not surprising with the fabulous view). The gym was well equipped too, and also had the same fabulous view. The breakfast was good with lots of options, and also had gluten free options for celiacs.

Awesome rooftop pool and rooftop workput area. Set up for hip singles or couples and corporate training events. Awesome communal kitchen with many clean cooking stations and quiet office work areas as well as conference rooms. Great hotel for the price, had a suite so plenty of room. Check in was all on iPads but was very quick and staff replied via email quickly if they weren’t there. Location was good and also close to the station. Negatives; bed was very hard, after 4 nights I’m ready for my own bed! Room was also cold as they hadn’t switch AC to winter mode yet so couldn’t put heat on. Did give me extra duvet. Pool was freezing but pool area was lovely. Lots of private events on Friday and Sat nights so kept getting kicked out of the pool area which was highly annoying, after lots of walking and just wanted to relax in the sunshine. Overall, for the price it’s perfect for couple of nights stay. It’s also full of students so I’d say it’s like a fancy hostel vibes, more suited to a younger crowd.

Overall, my stay had some nice moments, especially the breakfast — it was very good and a highlight of the visit. However, the room itself was quite dark and smaller than I expected, and during my three-day stay it wasn’t cleaned at all. With a bit more attention to cleanliness and room upkeep, this could be a much more pleasant stay, especially since the breakfast is already a strong point.

Our stay at The Social Hub was a unique experience. The staff was friendly and we were upgraded upon check-in, which was appreciated. However, the overall vibe felt more like a student dorm than a proper hotel. The first room we were given had dirty floors, though they quickly accommodated us with another. Cleanliness and maintenance were lacking throughout. The property was previously student housing and it still feels that way, with old signs in the hallways and a very casual environment. It also functions as a co-working space, which made it much busier and more chaotic than we expected. The energy from the staff was very Gen Z. Everyone was polite, but casual and detached. There was little engagement and minimal hospitality. It felt more like staying at a social club run by students than a traditional hotel. The elevators were small, stuffy, and required transferring between two just to reach our room. The entire hotel had a strong, unpleasant odor, likely from poor ventilation and lingering body odor. Some air fresheners or better airflow would help a lot. Breakfast was disappointing. The eggs tasted like they came from a powder mix and nothing felt fresh. On a positive note, the rooftop view was beautiful and the amenities were geared toward a younger crowd. If you are a solo traveler in your twenties looking to mingle or work remotely, this place might work for you. Clean property with friendly staff. Some signs of wear like poor draining in shower but very clean. I didn’t realize this property marketed to students until I arrived and there was some noise at night from surrounding music/restaurants but it was good for one night.

The cleaners two mice left rubbish bags in the room as well as a rubber glove. The bed was half made one day.

Great for easy access to/from railway station and walking to main sights. Rooftop pool & bar and views over city a definite plus. Some of the cleaning and maintenence could improve. Lift access in building not great.

I came for a week from the US to visit my daughter who's studying in Florence for a semester. Her study abroad advisor recommended the Social Hub. The location was great - walking distance to her school (SRISA), SMN train station, etc. The coffeemaker in the room was a big plus for me; the hot water pot was a nice bonus. We had the buffet breakfast once - delicious. Room was clean. Property was lovely and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful -- called a taxi for me back to the airport which arrived in minutes.

Habitación silenciosa y tranquila. la cama bastante cómoda aunque la habitación algo incómoda porque apenas se podía abrir la puerta del baño con la cama y no había sitio para pasar. ella armario es un hueco profundo sin luz y no se ve nada. la iluminación de la habitación es bastante mala. Está bien aislada del exterior y el baño, aunque nos lo entregaron un poco sucio, estaba bien. Había que coger dos ascensores y recorrer un pasillo para llegar a la habitación. las zonas comunes muy cool y con un ambiente muy juvenil y moderno. los desayunos muy mejorables y caros. la ubicación no está mal pero hay que andar unos 20 minutos para llegar al centro y unos 12 minutos a la estación de trenes. hay una parada de la linea 2 del tranvía justo en la puerta si que para venir del aeropuerto es perfecto. Me intentaron cobrar cosas del minibar que ya había pagado con lo que tratamos de solucionarlo pero la comunicación con el hotel no ha sido muy buena. El tema de ha quedado ahí en el aire

Die Lage des Hotels ist okay, Stadtrandlage, man erreicht alles gut zu Fuß. Allerdings lag unser Zimmer an einer viel befahrenen Straße. Bei offenem Fenster war es schon sehr laut. Außerdem sind die Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Die Einrichtung war sehr spartanisch und wirkte schon recht runtergerockt, man fühlt sich eher wie in einer Jugendherberge. Es gab nur auf einer Bettseite eine Steckdose, Lampe und Nachttisch. Im Badezimmer gab es nur eine Mini-Ablage über dem Waschbecken, die Handtücher konnte man nicht aufhängen, da sie keine Haken hatten. Der Pool ist viel kleiner, als er auf den Fotos wirkt und ständig überfüllt, obwohl der Ausblick genial ist, man kann es leider nicht genießen. Das Frühstück war das Highlight, hier fehlte es wirklich an Nichts. Und auch das Personal war stets aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend!!!

Everything was great but the room did get pretty hot and thermometer did not really work. Amenities great but just room temperature was challenging.

Jättebra location och nära till allt, 20 minuter promenad till det mesta. Bra spårvagnar utanför hotellet. Fruktansvärda sängar och kuddar, ingen ljudisolering från korridorer - hörde till och med hissarna när de åkte.

Staff amazing the next time I’m in florence i stay there I felt like home the location and amenities were amazing staff well oriented

The stay in this hotel was really. The air conditioning in our room broke down the second night of our stay. The hotel didn’t have any maintenance staff at night to fix it. Only two staff members working at night - receptionist and security. They tried to help us but they ended up changing our room around 12:30’AM. The following the assured us that the air conditioning was fixed. However, when we went to the room the air conditioning was not working. So they ended up again charging our room at 01:00AM. Furthermore, the room/bathroom was not cleaned for the last 3 days. There is a clear lack of staff with only two people working at night in a hotel with 500+ rooms. The same happened during breakfast where there was a clear lack of staff with coffee machines not working properly. The communal areas are great. To the hotel management- hire more staff.

While the reception and rooftop employees were great, the other staff were inattentive and unhelpful. The room was average.

Turned up at 1pm to be told can check in at 3pm, then it came to 4pm when we returned it still wasn’t ready. The staff offered a free drink at the bar and then decided to talk in Italian infront of us thinking we wouldn’t understand. The room magically then became ready and the free drinks were not offered. The room was nice but sometimes loud music at unnecessary hours, in addition to this a service door for housekeeping was next to our room and the door was squeaking and being slammed multiple times in a row open and shut again at very early hours. Aircon cannot go below 20 which in the height of summer is pathetic as the rooms are very hot and facing the sun, also lighting was poor and extremely overlooked by the rooftop so you couldn’t change in private unless everything was shut and the poor lighting turned on. They now post checking out and paying have tried to charge us for something additional without even asking to one of the cards that was used to pay city tax and not for the booking, this unauthorised payment has been flagged by the card company as fraudulent and now we have to wait for a new card and cannot spend money. This is not anything we agreed to. Overall hotel was ok but staff are really poor and Anton in particular was rude and obnoxious.

Overall it a great visit, Ciara who worked at the front desk really made a huge difference to us in extending our room to be the same one. We were tired and we really didn't want to change rooms. Beyond that Ciara in particular went above and beyond in her curtosey to make us feel at home. Thank you Ciara!

Very modern hotel with friendly staff that is always available to help and answer questions. We loved the relaxing space on the rooftop with a spectacular view of the city. The pool and bar service was a great amenity for guests. We booked with breakfast included and the options were good, especially the drinks (juices, water and coffee machine). Only issue was the hot food options were like warm, wish they were served hotter. Appreciated the free laundry services. Great place to stay and would recommend to others. Also they have other locations around Europe that I will look into booking for future trips.

Very convenient in terms of location and they offer a complimentary luggage room , this is an advantage comparable to the other hotels. Negative: be patient during your check - in and check out. They have only 1 person at the front desk to help you ; and we waited a long time in order to be served.However, they do offer an online check in case you are a tech person. The rooms are ok, does look more a “ fancy” student dormitory. Negative: the minibar products is to pricey , pay attention to not be charged for drinks you did not consume.The price is comparable to drinks at the hotel's lobby bar. The restroom at the basement level was a nightmare, extremely dirty! The pool at the rooftop is just for an instagram photo shoot, I would not take a chance to go for a swim. The breakfast is good, but get there early. The restaurant is far too small comparable with the number of guests they do receive. To be fair, still not sure why they have such high reviews. The place is beautiful, that’s it! but nothing special in terms of service.

The ac was good. We loves sitting at the rooftop bar by the pool in the evenings. We didn't have time to go to the coffee shop on the ground floor, it looked very nice! The hotel is in a practical location, very easy to walk around the city.

Excellent location

Good location, just outside of the historic downtown core and limited traffic zone (ZTL) so it is possible to rent a car and find street parking nearby. Hotel is new with good amenities including a pool on the roof deck with an amazing view of the duomo.

This hotel is not in the city center but is walkable to the center in about 20 minutes. The tram stop is in front of the hotel which is a quick option if you don't want to walk. The tram also takes you straight to the airport and the main train station which is convenient. The rooms are basic but clean. There are alot of study abroad students who stay here ( my daughter included) so the hotel is very modern. There is a nice rooftop with a bar and a restaurant (which I did not try). Overall for the price I would recommend it.

Fikk sjekket inn veldig tidlig da de hadde tilgjengelig rom. Veldig høflige ansatte som snakket godt engelsk. Helt super takterasse med basseng og bar med fantastisk utsikt. Kaffemaskin på rommet. Rent og pent rom. Til den lave prisen var dette veldig velsig bra. Like ved tog/trikk til flyplassen. Og nært togstasjon. + at det er i gangavstand.

It was a 6 min walk to great food. It was about 15 min to the Duomo and a safe walk. It was just noisy at night from the traffic.

Excellent. Large and comfortable hotel. Very close to attractions and the central train station. The city rail service also passes right in front of the main door. EXCELLENT! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

L’hôtel est très beau et le personnel est irréprochable, en revanche je m’interroge sur le concept ce n’ai pas adapté au tourisme c’est un hôtel pour les professionnels et les étudiants ayant les moyens. En toute franchise je n’ai pas trouvé qu’il était à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles en vu de la qualité des services proposés : le petit déjeuner est assez sommaire (peu de choix de thé et même de chocolat chaud donc il faut aimé le café…) quand à la propreté je suis assez déçu fonctionnement absolument pas écologique (nous avons séjourné 5 jours et nos serviettes ont été changés tous les jours ainsi que le rouleau de papier toilette alors que certains jours il était à peine entamé) en revanche dans les parties communes on peut retrouver une magnifique odeur et fed traces de vomis dans les escaliers le lendemain d’une soirée étudiante et ça n’a pas été nettoyer…et pour finir la piscine fermait à 18h donc pour en profiter c’était compliqué quand on aime de délasser les jambes après avoir passé une journée entière à marcher dans la ville. Globalement c’est une déception.
