Origin is a little more expensive than other hotels nearby but if you're going to a show at Red Rocks, don't even consider anywhere else. This is the place. Don't take their shuttle to the show, though. It leaves way too early and takes forever to get back. Vinny the bartender told us this and we took an Uber out and taxi (yes, taxi) back as it was way faster. This is closest hotel to venue.

Very nice hotel in a very convenient location. Right off highway 70 so easy access to other locations. About 4 miles south of downtown Golden CO and CO School of Mines. Red Rock Amphitheater is only about 2 miles away. Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Fitness center was primarily cardio equipment but had dumbbells and kettlebells. Room was rather quiet. Noise from the highway was also not an issue.

For such a high rate per night, the quality of the stay wasn’t great. The room was in average shape. Trim was water damaged in the bathroom, shower fixtures were coming apart, no waste basket in the bathroom. The shelving looked as if it were also falling apart. The shuttle to Red Rocks was not included with the stay, which should be reconsidered. Service was slow in the restaurant when there were only 3 other tables, midafternoon. We stay in a lot of properties and this hotel was just average. The bed was very comfortable. It is very close to Red Rocks which is a plus, a short drive. There was also a great coffee shop within walking distance.

Conveniently located off the highway in a nice area with restaurants right across the street. Great bar inside with good food & drinks and excellent bartenders. Room was spotless!

The room had not not been cleaned well at all. It looked like they swept the floor and took out the trash. The floors were extremely dirty with crumbs and toenails. They moved us to another room that was also dirty. We went back to the original. This is a great location for concerts at Red Rocks but recommend only staying for the night of the concert. We were there for 4 and it was already paid so we stayed.

Literally the only issue we had with the property was housekeeping. We were not time at time of check-in that every day we had to request for housekeeping. Also, the 1 day they did come, they didn’t replenish the coffee pods or the coffee cups. Other than that, great location, great facilities, great food.

Great stay. The only reason why I didn’t give service a 5 star was because my room wasn’t freshened up each day. Coffee not replenished and I had to ask to have it done. We were there for 4 nights. The location was perfect, an easy on off the highway to get to wherever you needed to go, including the red rocks amphitheater. I would definitely stay there again!

Origin Red Rocks was a really nice hotel with a fun atmosphere. It was conveniently located near convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. I noticed during the entirety of our stay that housekeeping had not cleaned up our rooms while we were away. Previous hotels I’ve stayed at typically have housekeeping check in and/or provide fresh towels. This property did not. Overall, I’d still recommend staying here, especially if you’re seeing a show at Red Rocks.

The lobby & outside areas are really nice. The girl that checked us in was extremely rude. I don’t even think our room had been cleaned. Long back hair stuck all over the shower. Nasty stains on the curtains and lamp shades. To top it off, I went to put some drinks in the fridge in the room and there was a to go box of rotten food shoved in the back. When I made the front desk girl aware, she smiled and said “thank-you”. Wouldn’t recommend. There are much nicer places in the same area.

The hotel is not that old and yet I feel it could use an update or refresh already! We stayed here last year and were pretty happy with our room, though they do not have any drawers!!! This is more of say a hikers or trail hotel. Though the lobby and nice and upbeat the rooms really need some help and DRAWERS!! What’s up with that??? All in all it’s close to red rocks and golden but since our graduations are done for a few years we will not be staying there any time soon.

The rooms were very clean and upon entering it smelled very nice inside. My only issue was that the bathroom door didn't close it was a sliding door and that makes things awkward if you're sharing the room with someone you aren't comfortable with hearing you do your business.

Overall nice hotel however the bathroom and lighting not a fan. The bathroom door is a barn door style that does not shut completely and there is no lock. Also there is a window in the bathroom door that you can see in and out of, horrible for privacy. The lighting in the bathroom and the hotel room is extremely dim. However despite those complaints the rest of the hotel was nice. Nice bar/restaurant area and outdoor area with bean bag game and gas fire pit.

The staff at this property are THE best. Everyone we interacted with was really awesome. Our room was very comfortable, nicely appointed, and quiet. There were a couple broken items which I suppose is not surprising considering people are partying before/after concerts, but it didn't affect our stay negatively. There were lots of handy stores in the same parking lot, and also some nice hikes right nearby too.

The property staff was very friendly! We stayed for a concert at Red Rocks and loved the convenience of the shuttle to the event. We enjoyed the restaurant downstairs and the happy hour they offered. The restaurant staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again if/ when we go to another show at Red Rocks.

They had a room ready for me at 1:00, but if I wanted to check in before 2:00, they charge you a $50 fee. So I sat in the lobby for an hour until 2:00 to avoid the charge. Wouldn’t go back for that reason alone, but couple it together with a staff that doesn’t seem to care about service, and you have a recipe for a sub-par experience. Location was great for attending a concert nearby, but the $350 price point and lackluster ensures I won’t be back.

I love staying at this hotel … but it’s the only hotel I’ve stayed at to charge me an early check in fee. It just really rubbed me the wrong way. I checked out two hours early and there was no corresponding discount for that!

Vinny the bartender is the best. Definitely go see him at the Nomad bar inside hotel and you won’t be disappointed. Super convenient to Red Rocks and recommend spending the money for the shuttle as it’s hassle free.

Origin Red Rocks is located in a small village area with a coffee shop, liquor store, brewery, and gas station/convenience store just across the street. Red Rocks Amphitheater is 5-10 minutes away so this hotel is perfect if you attending an event at Red Rocks and need a nearby hotel. The hotel bar was nice and the staff was friendly. This is a very pet friendly property and there were plenty of dogs around the lobby area, bar, and outdoor seating area. The decor is interesting especially the portraits in the elevators. The only downside to our stay was there was a lot of noise in the hallway where our room was located. Both nights that we were there, people seemed to think that it was OK to yell down the hallway even though it was the middle of the night.

Great location if heading to a Red rocks concert. We ate in the restaurant once, and the food was good. The live music was also a plus. There’s a gas station, and a cafe across the street that has good coffee and bites to eat. If you are looking to walk to do things, this is not the place as you will need to drive to get to anything.

Always stay @ Origin when attending Red Rocks concert. It is THE HOTEL to stay when seeing a RR concert. Always wonderful staff, room, bar & Nomad restaurant. Highly recommend!!

The coffee in the hotel and restaurant is terrible and served with coffee mate. That’s a good thing to know if you’re expecting a hotel with “ room service “ and there isn’t room service that I could find. Handicap access is a complete joke as handicap parking is in the backbit you enter through the front. The bed we had was really hard and pretty intolerably uncomfortable. There is no Tanqueray gin in the bar. There was a snarl of black hair in our shower and we are blonde/gray. If you are looking for an indestructible place to take your fraternity for a reunion.. this could be it! The place is built like a church camp ski resort. Every thing can be sprayed down with bleach and mopped. We did have fun and the convenience to Red Rocks is really nice. Just wish Colorado Style was more luxurious and comfortable than it ever turns out to be.
