There transportation shuttle was always 30-60 minutes late picking us up. I wouldn't have been upset if they would just be truthful yet they would say they'd be there in 15-20 minutes. Ender up ordering a Lyft a couple times. The shuttle is not affiliated with the hotel.

My stay was good for the most part. I had to go to the front desk for a few billing issues, but they took care of the issues. The pool wasn't clean. So i didn't get to utilize that amenity. Breakfast buffet was good. Overall service was great.

Pool was very dirty, they charge 30 per person for normal 2 star regular hotel breakfast “buffet” which I find ridiculous. Other than that, it’s pretty nice and staff is friendly.

I tried using the pool and I was with a guest with a disability. The pool’s ada access arm was not working and didn’t seem the hotel kept up with the arm. Technician was nice and tried to get it working but was unsuccessful.

MI recently spent 5 days at this property and this was my 4th booking there. I like the hotel but housekeeping was not good this time, no cleaning for the first 3 days, none. The reason I might return is that it is one of a very few hotels in Medical Center Houston that the air quality is very good, no allergies, no congestion at all.

Front desk, bell service and valet paring attendants we are all very good. The rooms felt like they were not as clean as they should be and there was hair on the bedding when we first arrived. The carpet in the hallways had stains as well as the lounge seating area couches. The overall feel of the common areas did not feel fresh.

Very well situated to the medical center and downtown Houston. Unfortunately, the property was pretty dirty. The gym in particular was filthy. The carpet in my room had several stains and there was splattered food on the wall behind the desk. Did not feel like a 4-diamond hotel! A bright spot was the breakfast staff at Safina--they were wonderful. Very attentive, great service.

Overall lovely hotel however a couple things of note - There's no coffee in the rooms. Just espresso. We had to go down to the coffee bar every morning to buy a plain cup of coffee. We did have mold in the shower.

There was food in the bed and on the walls. Next room had blood on the sheets. The couch had stains, maybe water stains. The wallpaper was peeling and had mold growing. The restraunt where the booths are located, the shelf under the large artwork was dusty. This place is not sanitized or cleaned that well. We picked this establishment because of how the website advertises every room is sanitized, as well as high traffic places. The restraunt food was mediocre. Would never stay here with my family for medical procedures.

Great facility, super clean and located so close to the Med Center. The staff in the lobby, including the check-in person, the parking attendants, and all the intro staff do a fantastic job. Very helpful and welcoming even in the brutal heat wave! This may be an aberration, but the room was very cool but the humidity was so high, the sheets were damp.

Terrible service! There’s only 1 person at the front desk, the hotel has at least 300 rooms. Room service never answered, and when I spoke with the lady in the front desk they could send a cereal to my room. I ordered Uber eats and they couldn’t bring it to my room as well. Rooms are bad decorated, toilette has no door, noisy walls. Overall experience terrible.

Our stay was wonderful, the hotel has chauffer service to shopping areas. However, on the morning that we checked out at 9am, we were told there was a restaurant charge to our room. In our 3 nights, we ate out at local restaurants with our family and has never used the hotel restaurant, we asked for proof of signature but the girl at front desk said she will take care of it and reverse the charge as we did not eat there. We got home and found that our credit card was charged. We had called the hotel right away and was told that the accounting department will reverse the charges within 24 hours but that never happened and called the hotel again the next day, again Jan that received the call put me through to front desk and I had to explain the whole story again and was told by Mariane that accounting department will have to handle it. It is frustrating how slow the hotel is reacting when clearly it is their fault, the size and calibre of this hotel, we just expect better service when it is the hotel's mistake. A large hotel like this, you would think that they double check on guest room and signature and I also asked them to check their surveillance camera cause our family has receipt proofs that we did not eat at their restaurant but somewhere else. I would have given them a perfect mark but this episode leaves a bad mark for the hotel in my book, and speaks volumes for their lack of customer service. Our stay was from Nov. 9 and we checked out morning of Nov. 12.

The staff and the property were excellent. Dante checked us in. The process was quick and easy. Check out was much the same. The restaurant had excellent food, and fantastic service. This was my second stay at this hotel. I’m sure it will not be the last. This is a great hotel. 😊

The hotel is a very nice one and the customer service overall was great my reason for the 3-star is because during my check-in the young man was very courteous but lacked knowledge. I had to tell him about the amenities that were included in my stay. If I had not said anything I would have no access to the lounge, no $25 dollar credit and these are things I paid for.

The service was not great, we checked in very late in the evening/morning due to unforeseen circumstances. It took nearly 20 minutes to find someone who worked at the hotel to check us in. The individual at the front desk was a bit rude and both verbally and visibly annoyed that were were checking in at the time we were. We also called and asked for room cleaning the next day and none was provided.

Staff was uniformed about perks and upgrades. Attention to detail is nonexistent. Ask for a towel get a bedsheet. Pool area was dirty. No ice available… receive a rude attitude and answer when asking. Purchased reservation for accommodations plus 2 breakfast… did NOT receive the breakfast(s). Will NOT stay here again.

We stayed here the night of Taylor Swift's concert. The line to check in was 70 minutes long, and each person being checked in took a really long time. There were not enough attendants checking people in. When I got to the desk, I was told my room was not ready... Two hours after check in. This hotel is very close to NRG stadium. They should anticipate this type of thing and make arrangements to turn over rooms and get customers into their accommodations. The valet was great, room was comfortable, modern and clean.

The stay was perfect from start to finish. Check in was a breeze, and the room was decked with luxurious amenities from the Byredo bathroom products to the softest terry cloth robe with matching slippers. I ordered room service and the meal delivery was prompt and seamless. I thought the food and coffee from the adjacent restaurant were a bit pricey but was totally worth it for the convenience. The hotel’s proximity to the Museum District and the cool, hipster shopping and restaurants in Montrose made the value of this hotel the best part for me. They even extended my check out time so I could indulge in more sight seeing without any issues. I appreciate the staff of this establishment so much. Book the stay!

Check in was great. Valet and the porters were awesome. The room was nice. Service in the restaurant was absolutely terrible. 15 minutes before they came for the drink order and we had to ask to have our drink order taken. It took an exceptionally long time (about 45 minutes) to get our food and drinks. It was quite a surprise for an InterContinental Hotel that has a reputation for excellent service. The food was ok, super salty for the ratatouille and a bit sickly sweet for the beet salad, but the drinks were really sub-par. It was not the A-team working, as the bar and restaurant weren't busy at all, which should have been a warning, given that there are no easy options for dinner within walking distance. We stayed again a few days later and we had the opposite experience, with great food and service while sitting at the bar.

On day two of our stay we were informed that due to pipe issues the water to the hotel had to be shut off. The water was shut off from approximately 11:45 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. During that time, staff suggested we go elsewhere to use amenities, eat etc. The manner in which it was communicated was via text and when asking front desk staff details, they pretty much were off standish about the whole situation. Once the water was back on we never got cold water. Both faucets were hot. We told the front desk staff this and he said “oh that’s weird” and did nothing more. I’ve stayed here several times over the years and it’s usually an amazing stay, I am unsure if we’ll stay again.
