Never have I had a stay at a hotel be as stressful and frustrating as this. When checking in, I was notified that they booked too many people and had to move us to a different hotel (lesser/motel vibes with outside door). No refund was offered upon request, they gave us some rewards points, but not enough for a free night and they could not be applied to the current stay. So, no guarantee you get the room you reserved, not even in the same building/hotel. Then they only rebooked us for 1 night instead of the original 2 night reservation. As a result, I had to visit the front desk 4 separate times to ask why I was being prompted to check out, fix our key, etc. Because they booked too many people there were no available parking spots. Multiple cars, including us, were circling the lot at midnight trying to find somewhere to park. You know it's bad when you are debating driving 3 hours home after midnight because you don't want to stay the night. If things couldn't get worse, we found a cockroach/bed bug in a shoe as we were packing up and leaving. Now we have all our things in plastic bags. Gross. So, to avoid a headache, don't book a room at either the Baymont or TravelLodge. Save yourself some trouble and find another hotel in Appleton.

This hotel is undergoing renovations, which I wish I would have known. The lobby was closed, so we checked in at the Travelodge next door. The staff member was SUPER FRIENDLY, she did a great job! But, our room seemed like it might have been 1/2 renovated. The parking lot was torn up, the knob on the bathroom door was about to fall off, the shower stall was old and discolored, the bathroom vanity was discolored, and we had trouble with the TV. The bigger issue though, was that breakfast was being served in the Travelodge, and it was underwhelming. Very few selections and low quantities of each item (e.g. 2 pitchers of juice). I was there with 4 teenagers and they could have wiped out the entire breakfast by each just taking a reasonable amount of food. I was underwhelmed and probably wouldn't have booked here had I known the circumstances.

This property is currently under construction and visitors are required to check in at the adjacent Travel Lodge. The staff is accommodating and friendly enough. At the Baymont, the elevator is out of service and breakfast is served at the Travel Lodge. The room was old, dingy and in need of a serious facelift. Most concerning is it appeared both the Baymont, and even more so the Travel Lodge, are a permanent home to a collection of seedy characters who wander the property parking lots buying or selling drugs. I would suggest looking elsewhere to for a place stay until the Wyndham gets a handle on this property.

I was in Appleton for a weekend visit. I was greeted by friendly staff when checking in. The room was immaculate, plenty of clean linens. Clara the housekeeper had made roses with a washcloth and the toilet tissue. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh waffles, cereal, premade breakfast sandwiches, yogurt , hard boiled eggs, cheese sticks and coffee. The motel was quiet the whole visit.

The room wasn’t clean. Floor wet, blood and shaving cream in the sink. Crumbs in all the corners. The whole place reeks and creaks like no one has cared much for years. Even for the deal I got to be there I almost just packed up to find a new place every night.

Property needs updating. Shower may have been cleaned, but it looked moldy. Grout was covered with black spots, we didn’t even use it. Face plate on phone was missing, could not determine what the different buttons on the phone were for other than the dial pad. Walls are paper-thin; could hear neighboring room “activities”. Would never stay at this facility again.

Room and bathroom was clean. I love how we get to control the temperature of the room because we get cold easily and love to turn the heat on. TV was easy to use and navigate. Also enjoyed reading through the informational packets provided in the room.

My room wasn't properly cleaned as there was cobwebs everywhere. my entry door was broken, i had to shoulder check the door open and had to shoulder check the door to shut it as well as doing this too my bathroom floor. The bathroom had pee stains all over the floor in the bathroom.

Room was just fine but the a/c was so noisy we just turned off to sleep. Black out curtains worked great until morning. They were short and the light came up from under them. So woke us up earlier than we would have liked. The breakfast offerings were the usual waffles etc but I was pleased to see boiled eggs (not pre-peeled), English muffins and a few more healthful food choices.

Requested wheelchair accessible room for my daughter when I booked the room. The clerk gave me a room on the 2nd floor then told me they did NOT have an elevator when I asked. The listing for the hotel should state that. Then he gave me a first floor room and when we got to it there was a family in the room already. They didnt seem too happy and were extremely rude. Went back and the clerk gave mebthe wrong number. The room was OK. Not really comfortable and only had 3 pillows for each queen bed. Sheets were rough and itchy. Couldnt walk on the carpet because it felt sticky, dirty and when I looked at the bottoms of my feet it was like.I was walking around outside. If you have anyone above you be prepared to be woken up because it sounds like elephants are up there. Coffee maker did not work, and neither did the hair dryer. Probably wouldn't stay again.

Very nice for a short business trip. If you're gonna be out and about most of the day, it's a good deal for mainly being a place to crash. Right next to Interstate 41 for easy on/off. Staff was friendly, room was clean, really loved the pillows. Applebee's and Texas Roadhouse next door.

The room was fine, and most part it was clean except the bathroom could have been cleaner around the edges. It needed to be swept better. The coffee was instant in the room, and the coffee in the breakfast area was horrible. The food choices were fine.

Pleasant surprise when we arrived that this property is being renovated and our room was all new. Didn't mind the inconvenience of going to the neighboring hotel this owner also owns for breakfast. Best continental breakfast I've had in a long time, that included more than just sugary starch options (breakfast sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, whole wheat bagels). Staff was wonderful; very clear effort is being made to make this a quality, enjoyable stay.

It was not so good our keys would not work at any door even to get into room. Threatening to call police someone kept banging on windows and taking off. No food in morning breakfast place at 7:00 in the morning.

I loved coming to this hotel the customer service was amazing loved the guy that was working 2/11 night! I brought 2 dogs paid before the night and called. They put me in a great room right next to the door, very easy access outside. Breakfast was good should have some fresh fruit maybe some apples very easy. Loved everything would definitely stay again!

Not the worst place by any imagination, but definitely had some negatives. Had problems with the key cards multiple times. Breakfast was sad. We decided to go elsewhere the second morning. Out of the 3 bath towels one had something on it. The parking light flood light prevented the room from getting really dark at night.
