Staff was less than engaging nor personable when checking in and out. They paid more attention to their phones than helping us. Didnt ever greet us when going in or out of the lobby doos, seriously lacking customer service skills. Someone hit my car door and left a good size dent in it with their door. We asked if they had cameras and they simply said not that show the parking lot and went back to what they were doing. Our vanity in the bathroom had someone else’s makeup on it from a previous stay. The tv was not a smart tv so there were two channels that weren’t news or sports to watch. Elevator was missing some panels and some were loose.

Check in was easy. There were ample luggage carts. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice variety of breakfast choices. Getting back in I 40 was a breeze.

The bathroom is stocked with all the things you’d expect. The bed was comfortable .The breakfast was good. The fitness room is big - 3 treadmills, an elliptical, free weights, medicine balls, etc. the staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: The hotel is dirty in the common areas. The floor is dirty, the garbage can in the women’s bathroom is over flowing, the fitness room had no clean towels, the water was empty, the garbage was over flowing. The fitness room also didn’t have anything to clean the machines (the dispenser was empty), so there was dried sweat visible on machines. Perhaps the biggest annoyance was that I needed to do laundry and the washing machine was broken. I was sent to an adjacent hotel owned by the same company…big inconvenience! Overall, the stay was decent because our room had a comfortable bed and the room was spacious. Other than that, this hotel suffers from a death by a thousand paper cuts. The management really needs to tighten up its operation. The lack of cleanliness in the common areas is really unacceptable for a Hampton. Get the washing machine fixed!

Nasty. Pool was not even filled . Thats why we chose Hampton was for the pool and cleanliness . Absolutely the worst Hampton Inn that we have ever stayed in . Never again !!

This hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. Everything was worn and stained. The bathroom shower had black mold growing in it. The mattress had seen better days and was uncomfortable.

The bathroom floor had long black hairs everywhere. It was obvious that it had not been swept prior to us entering the room. The sink, bathtub and toilet had a few of the long black hairs also. I immediately checked the beds and they were clean so we just put towels down on the bathroom floor to cover the hairs, wiped the sink, bathtub and toilet, changed clothes and went to bed.

The room was not clean at all. We were too tired to go thru the process of changing rooms after getting all of our bags there, so we asked for bedding to change the beds. The pillow cases and sheets had hair on them. After all that, we found that the bed was falling apart. The tv remote didn’t work properly. Just not happy with the experience at all.

The nightstand area was not wiped down. Lots of dust and some kind of orange substance on there. Also, the doors slam really loudly so any time a guest in the hallway was leaving their room, it would wake me with a slamming door. TV was slow to change channels. Otherwise, it was just fine. Comfortable bed, friendly check-in staff (Sarah Lee), and bathroom was clean.

When we check in the refrigerator didn't work, no soap in the dispenser. These should have been checked after cleaning. The shower leaks and it was very obvious, even housekeeping when they cleaned the room could tell it leaked. Cleanliness in the dining room was next to nothing, only one middle age lady who was training another employee was cleaning the tables after people left. The male African American was in the back with the door closed, rarely came out except to get breakfast and return. The male with a red beard was watching movies on an ipod, never left the desk. My wife actually cleaned the coffee area because it was stained with coffee and or tea. We used hot water and the same with our table. This happened Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday during our stay. It may be independent owned but Hilton is on the name.

I had trouble checking in because Expedia had not sent a confirmation number for the hotel, only an itinerary number. I had to wait over 20 minutes to check in after doing the virtual agent thing. It was not the hotel but hotels.com

My stay was amazing but my experience with Hotels.com was not. The email I received had NO confirmation number and Hotels.com will not talk to you without a confirmation number. The reservation was not showing in the hotel computer. The front desk clerk was extremely kind, helpful, and finally got it straightened out.

Well, it was a fabulous stay. The room and bath layout was so like staying in a big city boutique hotel. The dining area for the courtesy breakfast was huge and we had a fine meal lacking nothing, thank you staff !
