Plenty of parking, gravel parking. Small unmanned motel but check-in process with room codes worked well. Very pleased with the room. Looked new. Very clean. Hot water and good water pressure. Beds were comfortable. Small refrigerator and microwave in room. Phone access to reach staff for any issues (which we didn’t need). Very quiet. There was an open room with ice and extra linens. Shaded picnic tables. Nice view of mountains from front and back of property. 😊

The room was clean, modern, and the bed was very comfortable. We thought checkin might be complicated because the motel sends an entry code to your room about 30 min before checkin. But the process was super easy and we still had access to ice and additional towels. We took full advantage of the teapot and complimenary hot beverage choices and my husband found a disc golf course nearby.

From the outside this small motel did not do us any wonder. However, once we're inside, it's perfect for a night or two. Motel Torrey is clean, very modern, parking is super easy, view is rather great. The town itself is so artsy. We did couple of restaurants suggested by the Motel's leaflet and it really did not disappoint. If you ever in between Capital Reef and Bryce Canyon route, choose Motel Torrey!

Nice old school motel with 11 rooms. It was tidy with a nice bed and basic modern amenities. Not fancy, but as a national park traveler I like being able to back my car right up to the door and bring stuff in and out. Nice flat screen and able to stream a movie with internet. The town of Torrey is tiny, but there were a few good places to eat and we really enjoyed The Chuckwagon deli and general store for a couple necessities and a breakfast sandwich. Location for access into Capitol Reef NP is ideal. Our stay was self check in with a code texted to us. Nice little joint. Perfect for us.

Very clean and comfortable property, seems to be recently renovated, lots of a great small touches that'll make your stay more comfortable. Conveniently located close to the national parks. My only suggestion for improvement is the wall mounted air conditioning / heating system can be updated as it is loud and can be disturbing (but still functional). Overall, we had an excellent stay, would recommend and would stay again - 8.5/10.

Charming little place near the park. Very clean. I didn’t give five stars because the rooms are NOT sound-proof. My neighbors had a cough and it was so loud! You can hear conversations and everything else going on in adjacent rooms.

Small motel close to Capitol Reef. We didn’t have any contact with staff because we were sent a code for our hotel door. Beds were comfortable. Walls are very thin so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Dated rooms but fine for a 1 night stay where we just needed to sleep.

The bad part is that no one was there and we did not receive room number and key code: we had to call 3 numbers before reach a person who finally gave us our code at 5pm, so in time for our check-in. Very comfortable bed with clean room. Everything made for a good night rest on our journey. Would definitely book a room again. Initially I didn’t understand the check in process. Expedia indicated that we would receive an email 24 hours in advance of our stay. We didn’t receive an email but instead the management sent a text message the morning of our stay. Once we read the text message, the check in process went smoothly. All in all it was an excellent experience.

The property has been totally renovated and is very nice. The motel is in a great location and close to restaurants and shops. Even though this is a keyless motel, they reached out to us a few times to make sure our stay was perfect.

Loved this place. After I got my reservation, I got an email from the motel telling me I would get a text with my room # and door code. Sure enough, got the info the morning of my arrival. Never saw anybody from the motel. Worked great. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Will definitely be staying here again.

The Motel Torrey has been a great place for us to rest and recover after a day of exploring canyons, trails, and other spectacular features in the area around Capitol Reef NP. Our room was clean and organized, and check-in was hassle free. We enjoyed the beautiful night sky on our way home from dining at the Capital Burger and testing ciders at Etta Place Cidery & Tap Room (both nearby).

The room had everything that we needed such as microwave and frig. The heating was easy to use - there was even a separate heater in the bathroom! The bed was very comfortable. I liked that hot chocolate was provided together with the tea and coffee. Thanks!

Area surrounding the property was very scenic, only drawback was limited dining options during the off season. One of the outlets in the room was non functional which wasn’t a huge deal since there were plenty of options elsewhere in the room, just caused some confusion as to why the water heater wasn’t working initially.
