This is a very nice little place furnished with antiques and old paintings that give it a unique, cozy feeling. Things were clean, the HVAC worked, the bed was comfortable and the shower worked well. Parking was easy in front or back. The only negative was the condition of adjacent property which was dilapidated and cluttered. That is unfortunate because the owner of this inn has done such an excellent job improving and maintaining his own property.

Wonderful red Mexican tile flooring and Talaverra surround shower. The bedroom had large windows and a comfy bed! And the entire suite was spotless. The breakfast bu Chef Mark was made to order with wonderful green chili. Paco is a Taos treasure and host extraordinar bar none If you're looking for a home base to walk to the town plaza or the finer galleries and restaurants in town - you found it! Parking is safe and property owned. The entire experience is full of joy, and truly a work of art (literally!) so go and savor life as it should be...

The Inn is quaint and unique. The Inn keeper is very nice. We booked a B&B. Breakfast only served on Saturday and Sunday. No provisions for other days. Parking is an issue, however, this is a Taos issue. The Inn did the best he could.

This is one truly unique Inn. Amazing hospitality to start with …with Paco…the Innskeeper (and what a host he is!). Then you see his life’s work in the artistry, craftsmanship and art of this lovely Inn. We stayed in the La Madonna suite which featured a deck with chairs, front living room and huge bedroom with Keva fireplace. Fantastic art work adorns the walls and highlights the exquisitely crafted furniture throughout. Gorgeous custom tiled shower in the bath as well as a skylight. It’s hard to describe this property and serve it the full justice it deserves. A very special place. Perfectly located within short walk to the square. You will not be disappointed staying here. It has the true spirit of Taos.

The rooms are very nice, with lots of original art and curios. The owner of the property is great and very helpful. The outside of the property looks less inviting, and doesnt do the hidden gem inside, justice. We would stay here again.

My wife and I had a terrific stay at La Dona Luz. It is like staying in a New Mexico museum and Paco (owner) was there to greet us and take us on a tour. We were in the Yellow Bird room, which is actually two super-colorful rooms. The inn provides a hot breakfast on weekends, which was nice. You can’t beat the location—right at the main intersection of Taos, so easy walk to everything. We loved our stay.

This is one truly unique Inn. Amazing hospitality to start with …with Paco…the Innskeeper (and what a host he is!).
