I booked two rooms and requested an early check-in in advance. I was told they would do everything possible to have the rooms ready as soon as possible. However, when we arrived at 12 PM, the rooms were not available. We were not even allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel and had to store it in a nearby hotel. After going for a walk, we returned at the official check-in time, but the rooms were still not ready. In the end, we had to wait until 4 PM to get access to our rooms, which were not properly cleaned. It was obvious that the housekeeping staff were rushing and didn’t have enough time to prepare the rooms properly. Another issue occurred even before our arrival — the hotel charged the full amount for three nights from the wrong card (the one registered on Hotels.com), even though we had selected the option to pay at the property during check-in. This is where the frustration started, and it continued throughout our entire stay. Other issues worth mentioning: * The sink in the room was clogged. * It took a very long time to get hot water in the shower. * The rooms were too hot, with no proper ventilation. * Breakfast was very basic, the food mostly tasteless and seemed not fresh. * Renovation work was taking place on the 5th and 6th floors, making it impossible to stay in the room during the day due to the constant noise. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but this hotel truly deserves one.
