Doppelzimmer im 2. OG mit neueren Betten und Fenster. Täglich Frottewäsche und Dusch erneuert. Frühstücksbüffet wurde laufend nachgefüllt bis kurz vor Schluss und Tische rasch abgeräumt/gesäubert. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gute Lage. Nasszellen bei uns haben die besten Zeiten hinter sich (Farbe über Fliessen blättert zum Teil ab). Zimmer eher ringhörig. Terassen im 1. + 2. OG. Eingang/Pausenplatz Schule im Innenhof.

Posizione non distante dal centro storico ma comunque in zona ZTL. Ha un parcheggio coperto e a pagamento proprio a fianco alla struttura. Personale efficiente e veloce rende tutto più snello. Peccato ché la struttura sia destinata alle scolaresche ché non sempre sono riguardevoli. Un po' di ristrutturazione non guasterebbe

The location is great. In walking distance to most of attractions and train station. The employees are all very nice and polite and informative. Specially Omar which gave us excellent advice about tours and attractions and made our visit memorable.The breakfast area always clean. Good breakfast. It has lovely terrace and rooftop . Specially the rooftop with lovely flowers and a beautiful view of Florence cathedral. Our room was nice and clean . Overall I recommend this place . I can only suggest if they can a few pictures of Florence and Italy attractions on the room and corridors wall to make it more cheerful and a cattle and some teabags also would be nice . We had a lovely stay and I definitely recommend the place .

Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel central to attractions.The room was very small bumping into the wall TV walking around the bed, and the paint peeling of the walls in the bathroom, parking was close but expensive 30 Euro. Ask about other parking 10 min walk 15 Euro. Breakfast was busy 5/10. The floors in the bedroom were very clean as was the hall and stairs, and there were no table night lights for evening reading just the bright overhead light. Bed was 5/10 comfortable. It was nice to be able to open a window to the fresh air.

The staff were all 5+ star: always very polite, helpful and professional. Room and hotel itself were simple and lovely, but very, very clean. Beautiful terraces and yummi Breakfast. Location is insane to all local shops and main attractions, took me 14 minutes by foot to Duomo and 25 to the Main train station. Would recommend and return.

This hotel offers spartan accommodations - which is OK, although considering the cost, could have been nicer. A small refrigerator in the room is a nice touch, though. Parking is very convenient with a private lot just next door, although 30 Euro per day is a little steep. Our room #123 backed up to a busy street that was never completely quiet. No secure storage for luggage after checkout, although we did not have any loss. Nice & professional staff.

Beautiful roof top area to look around and well maintained flowers. Air conditioning was down but the men working on it didn’t give up and eventually did get it going…. Breakfast was very nice with a lot of options. Location was a bit away from train that I took from the airport… I should have gotten a cab to make it easy on myself.

Garden Blue is a very nice hotel with friendly hotel staff and good size rooms although the bright orange curtains are a bit much!! It is quiet and convenient for Galleria Acamadia and The Duomo. The roof garden and outside terrace are really lovely with beautiful plants and flowers and a huge television screen in reception /lounge which was great for the Euros. The television in our rooms as with most European hotels are too high up on the wall so i had a sore neck most nights having watched the euros and wimbledon tennis 2024. Also an English speaking news channel would be a good idea. The breakfast is amazing with loads of choice and delicious food. So thanks to Garden Blue in Florence and will come back and recommend it to anyone.

It was in a very convenient location within walking distance to the popular tourist sites. Breakfast buffet included was a great perk. A roof top seating area with tables and chairs to relax and hang out. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, 15 minutes to Ufizzi. Parking 50 m (€30 daily), good staff, good breakfast. Worth of money!

mold in the room at the ceiling and walls, smoke odor from sigarettes . no compensation, no other room. good for one night only

Une chambre qui sent fort l'humidité et le renfermé, la peinture de la salle de bain est écaillée et la Vmc ne fonctionne pas. Aucune isolation, nous n'avons presque pas dormi car nous entendions tout le monde parler et se déplacer dans la cage d'escalier et à l'accueil. Personnel non organisé ils pensaient que je n'étais pas venue alors que j'y étais depuis la veille. De plus ils se disent en hyper centre alors que pas du tout, la cathédrale est à 14min à pied...ce n'est pas à côté. Petit déjeuner sans saveur. A fuir !

Very clean and unique hotel, the staff was wonderful, very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was really nice.

Bed was not clean with hair on it, bathroom very old, very very low level. Don’t even worth 10% of what I paid.

Hotel fatiscente, una camera vergognosa, piccola e sporca.pedate sui muri, la muffa nel piatto doccia, la resina delle pareti del bagno scoppiata e scrostata dall'umidità e lungo gli infissi mancava l'intonaco e si vedeva la schiuma isolante. Abbiamo pagato 180€ per una camera che ne valeva a malapena 30€.

The breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Fruit juices, tea, coffee, fruit, breads, meats, cheese, yoghurt, pastries, cold cereal, donuts, toppings, and snacks. The beds were comfortable. The shower had 2 shower heads…hand held and a large sprinkler. Toilet and bidet. :) Very clean. The staff was kind and helpful. Great location, walking distance to basilica. This hotel is about 25 mins walk from firenze train station.A fair distance from the major attractions.. Academia Gallery was about 5 mins walk. The hotel is on the second floor of the building .It was quite dated, the carpets were distasteful and full of stains. It was airconditioned but we had to keep asking to lower the temperature down to our liking as they kept putting it to 22 deg. The rooms were spacious, beds and pillows were comfortable, fairly clean but the shower was poorly designed as it kept flooding the whole bathroom everytime we used it. The breakfast was sufficient to start the day with. There isn't a lot of dining options close to the hotel...I would say you can get a better option for the price we paid to stay tbere...

The hotel was very basic. Room was small, shabby, AC didn’t work. Liked the breakfast, roof garden, location.

Everything was within a 20-30 minute walk. Front desk was very helpful in giving suggestions for both touristy things and dining options. A little noisy but honestly didnt mind it. Wifi was almost non existing my room but as soon as i got to the door it was great. Terrace on the second floor was great too. Great bang for your buck overall.

Our stay was an excellent value for the money. The room was very clean with a private bathroom, minimal furniture: not night stands, but it had a big closet, a TV, a desk with a chair, and a small fridge. It felt like staying in a college dorm but with a full size bed. The breakfast was good and a nice addition. We didn’t have to worry about looking for places for breakfast the next morning which saved us time and money. Not far from the center of the city but it is a walk. There is an amazing restaurant in the neighborhood “Antica Trattoria de Tito”. A lot of young people in the hotel. We will definitely stay again!

The location of the hotel is very close to the tram station and it’s a walking distance to city center. The bed is not comfortable and the hotel room seems that has no sounds proof at all as we could hear the conversation of my next room, it’s not recommended for couple to stay unless you don’t care of your privacy, but the breakfast is good.

First off, you get what you pay for. I knew that going in. The pros were that the place was clean and had a modernized bathroom. The cons: the room was tiny and the walls super thin. I could hear everything going on at all times. The room was also hot with nothing to do about it. I slept horribly. I would find better and pay more to get better sleep. You will need it.

The AC wasn’t working on the first day. Staff refused to move me to another room until I had to fight it. Then the key lock didn’t work - this was 3 am and the Staff couldn’t open the door with the master key. They had to move me to another room to sleep until the next morning. I requested the refund but was refused. Nice and clean facility but the service was horrible.

Checked in, the only hotel that insisted on cash payment for city tax. Had two filghts of stairs to climb to the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. No assistance offered. "Double" bed hard against the wall, impossible to get out of if you were against the wall. No safe, no drinks facities, no hotel bar. Other rooms had bunk beds. Found somwhere else to stay and checked out. Managed to get the city tax back but that's all. Disgraceful, should no be on your books.

Brilliant service and in a fantastic area. Quick tram from the station and the everywere in the city is within walking distance. You are close to everything bit also a little away from it so you dont feel overwhelmed as soon as you walk out the door. Staff where always friendly.

The front desk has no customer service skills. Enzo the manager was so rude, he made guests clean floors if they spilled a little water on the floor by accident! They never cleaned our room, although we were booked for 5 nights, I had to make them clean it on the 4th night. The shower has no door and is built poorly so the bath water pooled around the commode with every use. The breakfast is the same basic stuff every single day. They just want to make money and dont really care about the clients well being. I would NEVER stay there again.

Walking distance to the tourist attractions. You need to have cash to pay the city tax. They do not accept card or bank transfers. Bathroom is small and the lights in the bathroom are away from the shower. It looked old. But it was clean. It wasn't bad as some of the reviews said. The breakfast buffet was very good. There was a shower gel, soap and a dryer.

The hotel offered a simpler standard than expected, with an acceptable breakfast but nothing extra. At check-in, we were informed that the city tax had to be paid in cash. We didn’t have cash, so we paid 36 Euros the next day, but didn’t get a receipt—a mistake on our part. Two days later, at check-out, we were asked to pay the tax again, now with card payments accepted. I explained we had already paid and left. Later, my husband returned to retrieve his sunglasses and was asked again to pay the tax. He reiterated it was already paid. That evening, I received a message from the hotel’s management, accusing me of not paying the tax and threatening to report me for fraud. I responded with details of the payment, but they claimed inconsistencies and maintained we hadn’t paid. They said they would review surveillance footage and later sent a brief apology but didn’t address my questions about the payment method discrepancy. This treatment was completely unacceptable. I felt insulted and violated. From previous reviews, it seems the hotel has engaged in similar behavior before. I cannot recommend this accommodation due to their unfriendly and accusatory treatment. If you choose to stay here, ensure you receive a receipt for any payment. I have contacted Hotels.com and filed a complaint about this incident

lugar tranquilo y centrico para visitar en florencia

Esta muy cerca de la estacion del Tram lo que facilita la movilización a lugares como el aeropuerto de Peterola o acceder a buses o trenes hacia otras zonas (La Spezia, Cinq Terre o Pisa) movilizandose hasta las estaciones de Tram de Costanza o Santa Maria Novella y caminando esta muy cerca de lugares turísticos (Ponte Vecchio, Galería Uffizi, etc.) y restaurantes.

Great location, 5 min walk to Academia.

Perfect location to walk everywhere in Florence… good breakfast, beds weren’t great but it was ok for a 2 night’s stay. Friendly staff but to be honest a bit noisy as we had a room close to the reception area. Overall a good place for the convenience of the location.

Staff were friendly and very helpful it was very good value for money and a super location for us so close to San Marco.

At 1st it looks very far from the cultural/historic part of Florence, but after the 1st time returning from the city to the hotel (without luggage) you noticed it's quite quick to reach it on foot. It's also much more quiet and calm, with less people, which you already notice some blocks before reaching the hotel. Breakfast is good, and we received free water when arriving and leaving the hotel. Wifi was really fast, and bathroom was brand new and very clean.

The place had everything we need. The room was spacious and the crew were very helpful and cooperative. The breakfast was superb. It has everything thing you need to start your day. Florence is a walkable city and the hotel gives you that as it is very close to the santa maria novella train station and the most glorious museums and landmarks.

Diesel Hotel verdient den Namen Absteige statt Hotel. Das Zimmer ist armselig. DZ ein Stuhl, einfach Katastroph, natürlich jein Schrank. . Das Frühstücks unterirdisch alles Tetrapak. Nichts Frisches. Das Einzige Positive das Stadtzentrum ist in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Autoparkpkatz kostet ausserdem noch ca. 45€ pro Tag.

Bra läge, utmärkt service, rent och mycket god och riklig frukost.
