This place was much nicer than expected. I thought it'd be like a cheap motel, but the property was really quite quaint. We were tucked away in the back, away from traffic and it was a cute corner of the property and some units had outdoor table/chairs ... like you could actually live there. We picked this place because it is pet friendly and we have two dogs. It had a nice fenced in dog run, and a very nice pool area. The gym looked new and the breakfast area was tidy and clean. Like I said, nice than I had imagined -- pleasantly surprised. I'd be happy to visit here again.

This was a super cute property and unique for the area. We were able to park right outside our room. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. The pool is closed after Labor Day, and I didn't pay attention to that when booking. But, I'm still glad we stayed here.

The rooms were very very clean. Mine was a non-smoking room and there was no remnant of any type of smoke in that room. The carpet looked new and everything was clean spotless. It was nice to drive right up to the motel being I had two dogs. They don’t charge for the dogs and have dog bones at check-in. You also get a free bottle of water which I took one for me and one for the dogs they have a beautiful grassy area that you can get a bag and let your dog go to the bathroom and they have a garbage can for you to put it in a very nice pool area and a playground for kids. For the price you couldn’t beat it. I give this property at 10.

It was roomy but my mom was getting bit on her arm and i turned the light on and I found a bed bug and killed it on a kleenex and blood came out then I took it up to show the woman that was working at the front desk and told we was leaving and wanted our money back.

Do not fall for the reviews like I did. The front desk rep was friendly and attentive. It is an older complex but that's not the problem. The room had a stale odor to it. The bed was clean but the rest of the furniture wasn't. Went into the bathroom and saw a few black ants. Didn't think much of it. Later that night, I went in the bathroom again and the sink and wall were covered in black ants! Totally grossed me out. I informed the front desk but since I booked with Expedia, I wasn't able to get any sort of discount. I was informed that the manager would get in contact with me and have not heard from anyone. If you can book somewhere else, please do. Definitely not worth it.

We stopped for the night passing through Missouri. They gave us room 151. It was very dirty and crawling with roaches. The carpet was filthy, there was long blonde hair on the floor infront of the bathroom, and the plastic push up part of a deodorant container next to the toilet. There was a red roach trap behind the pedestal sink in the bathroom. I killed 8 roaches. The room was cold when we entered and after turning up the heat, the roaches came out. They were behind the wall pictures, under the beds, behind the dressers. More and more came out. They came out of the back of the TV, and out of the alarm clock. It was the most horrible hotel experience. When I complained to the front desk and showed pictures, they moved us to room 203 in a different building. We searched through the new room, and saw no roach activity. We didn't risk the free breakfast. We will never ever stay here again. Hotels.com won't let me upload the roach photos to this review...

The man at the front counter was polite when we checked in. The room is old and dingy. We did see some bugs in the room. We could hear every word the neighbor was saying in our room. We went out at night and saw a bunch of people wondering the area at night, but the hotel seems far back enough to keep non guest out.

Enjoyed the stay. The only downfalls, which were no big deal, were that the road noise was a little disturbing when trying to go to sleep and the front door seemed to not be sealed very good. You could actually see light all the way around it coming in from the outside. Again, these were not that big of a deal and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderfully friendly staff, very clean room. Convenient. Only issue was the mattress. So old and worn out they both sagged terribly. We picked the one that sagged the least but still rolled to the middle making it uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Replace the mattresses and I’d easily give it high marks. A hot Breakfast was enjoyable and got us off to a great start the next day.

I'm not sure why this hotel has high reviews. It’s a literal trap hotel. Outside entry, the locks on the door were so loose, the chair was missing two wheels, everything was old and dirty. Absolutely would not recommend for women traveling

Check in was horrible but thanks to Expedia and their help they got it fixed. Gal at desk wasn't doing much to help. Room was not in good condition. Rubber/weather strip at bottom of door going into room, half of it is missing so bugs are getting in. Outlets in room are not good.

I stayed here 4 nights and had to go to the front office each day because my keycard would quit working. This became a hassle. There were 2-3 people at the front desk during the day, but only one in the evening, so I had to wait almost 30 minutes to check in. The door to the room wouldn't close and lock unless you slammed it. It was unpleasant to walk through the plume of smoke from people smoking out front of the room next door. The bed mattress had a huge dip in the middle and needs to be replaced. The rooms themselves were very large.

We chose this location because it was close to where we needed to be. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. We did not have any issues while there but the check in staff were very pleasant and sure to let us know to contact them if we needed anything. We would look no further the next time we need accommodations in Springfield.

The lady working the front desk was very unfriendly. She acted like we were an inconvenience. We didn't realize the breakfast was free & she didn't bother to tell us, so we went out for breakfast & spent an extra $25. Other than that , it was fine.

Hotel location is excellent, with many nearby restaurants & a Walmart across the street. Parking right out front was very convenient. Daily housekeeping was great & refreshed bed and towels. Breakfast starting at 6am 7 days a week is a huge plus and one main reason I chose this hotel over others. Free water bottles in lobby is another plus, especially with the heat this past week. Rooms are quite large, although they are looking tired. Bed had a divot in it, there was trash between the couch cushions, bottom door weather stripping was coming off. Would I stay here again? If here for the same event and room was the same price, probably. If I were here with my family, no.

I can't believe this property had an overall. "excellent" average rating. Their neighborhood is horrible, homeless people everywhere. The place is a rundown MOTEL, and should not have been rated so highly. This has lead me to believe that I cannot trust the ratings on Hotels.com. I'm going to try booking on Expedia directly from now on.

The property is definitely enhanced in the photos, this is an older motel (vs. hotel) feel. There are a lot of vagrants in the area too. The rooms are a bit outdated and smell musty and moldy, both of us woke with congestion that was eased once offsite. I would not recommend this stay.

After looking at reviews and booking, because this motel had an "Excellent" rating, I was extremely disappointed. Staff was very friendly. We (3 rooms total) came in after midnight and were sent to the very back of the property. I was met with a bug laying on it's back. The motel had a musty, old smell. By the time I had checked out, I had gotten used to it. There may have been some updates, but not enough, in my opinion. The windows looked to be original to the motel and not clean around them, the tracks and the sills. The beds were good enough...I've had worse, but certainly had better. The pedestal sinks were a poor choice, because even with the little glass shelf above it, there is not any room for the hair dryer, etc. The bathroom did seem to be clean, however, other than the window area. The breakfast definitely was not "good", "great", "amazing" or "above average" as described in the reviews. The lady attending the breakfast area was very attentive and friendly, so we all gave her a very generous tip, because the quality of the food isn't her fault. I have NO idea how this hotel received 10/10 ratings or "Excellent" ratings. Trust me on this one, folks. If you are ok with a "Good" or "Very Good" rating, you may be satisfied with this, but this motel is the very reason I normally only stay in hotels with "Excellent" and above ratings. I assumed the few bad reviews I read were from people that aren't happy with anything and maybe wanted a refund. I was wrong.

Our check in time was 3pm and we arrived at 6pm and staff there said “yeah that room is not ready yet come back in 30 minutes” so we had to leave and come back even though we arrived after the check in time. When we got to the room it smelt like smoke, even though this may not be the fault of the coach house it could have been cleaned better and the pillows were very very soft (almost all the fluff had gone) overall it was over priced and the breakfast was poor

The room was clean although a bit older. The beds also seemed to be well used but okay. The price was good through Expedia. The breakfast was good with a full line up of breakfast favorites which further made the price a good value. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Free bottle water and coffee in the lobby. The restaurant walking distance next door, Ziggie's, is also good. I would not hesitate to stay there again or to recommend it.

Booked this hotel based on the accessibility for my son whose currently wheelchair bound. The pool was supposed to be wheelchair accessible. He couldn't get within 59 ft of it so couldn't sit with the family. Had to wheel around the perimeter and watch us. This broke my heart because he wanted to watch his niece and nephew swim. Was told they took out the 2nd pool which was accessible to make a dog park! The pool that's there is tiny and not like the photo on the hotels website! I noticed the photos were all enhanced. Also. did you want meat with your included breakfast? Well they only serve meat twice a week according to the menu and hope you like polish sausage for breakfast because that's what they were serving. The biscuits and meatless gravy was pretty good day one but day two they had no biscuits to go with it. The potatoes were gross day 1 so didn't end up eating anything day two and had to pay to take the family to breakfast because nothing of what was there was appealing to anyone. Those two things were kinda big things to me.
