Hotel is a little dated, but rooms were being upgraded. You could tell that the pool area rooms were part of the original hotel. Front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel could use more wait staff and definitely more and better bartenders. We waited at the swim up bar for 25 min on a Saturday afternoon for the bartender to come back before we left and found a bar a couple blocks away. Waiting for the "lifeguard" to return to the pool are to give you a towel was also a pain. Shower had plenty of space and water pressure was good. Security was good, we never felt threatened by anyone in or around the hotel. Hotel is close to nightlife and uber gets in and out quickly. It was an ok place to stay but on my next trip I\'ll stay elsewhere.

This is one of my favorite places to stay so far. I like to stay in the Cabanas because it opens up to the beautiful pool, bar, and dining areas. Its great to stay in the cabanas if you have kids so you can have direct access to the pool. I've stayed in the large 5 star hotels but prefer the more intimate setting at the Hotel El Panama. The free breakfast is subpar but the hotel is located in walking distance of good eateries!

Room was in good condition outdated thogh no charging plugs near. Nightstands ..... Pool bar was not open, so had to change clothes to go to inside base I charge clothes to go back into the pool.

My stay was very enjoyable. The food was great. The city was very accessible. Attractions were all a very short trip away walking or by car. Also pretty close to the airport. The pool was great. Nice gym and sauna. Convention center was very good too. Nearby restaurants.

- Valet parking impecable y siempre atentos a servir - Hotel bonito y amplio, con buenos restaurantes. Solo 2 de 3 ascensores en servicio, insuficiente para tantas persona. - Desayuno bueno con poca variación y el café (creo que era panameño) muy delicioso - Limpieza de habitación terrible, pésimo servicio. Generalmente debía llamar a recordar que había solicitado previamente servicio de limpieza, pero la chica siempre en actitud muy perezosa. Mobiliario viejo, amerita un cambio o por lo menos una pintura. El sanitario dañado todo el tiempo el sistema de descargue, pese a que vinieron a repararlo, no funcionó al cien por ciento. - Habitación con cafetera Nespresso, solo dejaron 2 cápsulas de cortesía el primer día, si quería más café debía comprar cápsulas en recepción cada una por $2 dólares, algo que No tiene presentación para un hotel 5 estrellas y el valor de la tarifa. - Volvería, solo si debo asistir a algún evento, caso contrario buscaré otras opciones

Hotel muito grande, em área moderna perto de cassinos e hotéis de luxo. Durante a estadia houve falta de água, informaram que era uma situação geral da cidade. Houve diminuição da temperatura do chuveiro devido problemas nas caldeiras, comprometendo a qualidade do banho. O quarto era muito grande, com duas camas de casal, tinha água e café de cortesia. Café da manhã bom, com comidas típicas da região. Tem piscina, spa, academia, lojinha, restaurantes e agência de turismo. Funcionários solicitos e no geral, bom atendimento.

The room was dirty when I checked in! As nice as the hotel is I was extremely disappointed! The Ford were very sorry and hair everywhere! I complained 4 times in 24hrs and no one came to clean so I just checked out and I need my money back I had to sleep on a sheet I travel with on the couch..

Sale (taches sur les draps, douche sale, évier sale), CAFARDS dans la chambre (photos à l’appui) !!!! Ils nous ont proposé de changer de chambre mais cette fois ci l’eau ne coulait pas par la pommeau de douche donc impossible de se doucher. A fuir !

Pros: La comida estuvo muy rica. Desayuno excelente! El personal amable. La piscina es grande y el espacio a su alrededor es de lo mejor. La ubicación es buena. Contras: Había cucarachas en el cuarto. El primer cuarto que nos dieron olía fuertemente a humedad. Solicitamos el cambio y amablemente nos dieron otro cuarto que no olía así. El hotel es antiguo y muestra el desgaste. En su tiempo debió ser hermoso, pero necesita una remodelación para devolverlo a su vieja gloria. La cama, el colchón ya estaba viejo y hundido en medio, fue muy incómodo dormir allí. Y la ducha se ve vieja y poco cuidada. El aseo puede mejorar. Espero puedan invertir en la recuperación de este hotel y llevarlo al nivel que merece. Gracias a todo el personal por su servicio.

I arrived around 9PM and there was only 1 person at the check-in counter dealing with an issue with a group of people. I literally had to wait one hour before I could check-in. Several persons (other hotel employees) had stopped by the check-in counter but nobody provided any assistance until it was almost my turn. My check-in went fairly quickly though. The room was very spacious but could be updated, it had a lot of dark wood, which in turn makes the room dark. There was no hot water in the shower and the water from the pipe at the wash basin tasted muddy/moldy. There was a gap at the room door, where you could see sunlight coming through. It appears the door may have been kicked in once, as the door frame by the lock was 'patched up' and I couldn't turn the lock all the way. There was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron. Although it didn't bother me too much, on Saturday night I noticed some loud music coming from another establishment closeby? I don't remember if it was the same on Friday night. Multiple food options are available and there's a pool for those who want to swim.

Stayed here for a single night before heading to San Blas islands. Can't speak for other rooms in the hotel, but the one they assigned to me and the family was not great. Bathroom was in poor cosmetic condition, but still good functionally. Location was good, views were great and AC was fantastic. Would recommend they do some renovating.

La primera habitación asignada en 4 to piso muy sucia, enpolvada y olor a humedad, tuvimos que solicitar cambio. La segunda habitación mejor en 3 er piso sin embargo el ruido del casino y del salón en último piso impidieron un buen descanso los dos primeros días. Fiestas y celebraciones que producían bullicio a altas horas de la noche, cuando uno requiere descansar.

Great staff, service, food. The only thing is there was no hand towel and every day, they were changing out towels, even though we did not put them on the floor, so it’s not eco-friendly. They provided fresh cold water in the lobby so we were able to fill our bottles. The rest was amazing!

Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. However, Front desk staff need to be flexible and hospitable. My 90yr old aunt traveled with me for a funeral. We arrived 25 minutes before checking and they refused us (strict rules/not allowed before 3:00pm) Even when I told them her age. Unbelievable!

Overall the stay was okay, what I didn’t like was, I had booked and paid for a room with 2 queen beds, however I was given a room with 2 double beds, which I should have been given what I paid for. The front desk staff tried their very best to get it sorted but wasn’t able to get a room with Queen beds, also the housekeeper Carolina Wellington was awesome!

We stayed there around Valentines Day and they had the hotel beautifully decorated for the event. Room and bathroom were large and very nice. Breakfast however could be improved with more variety. Good location and staff very helpful and pleasant . Definitely recommend
