SpringHill Suites by Marriott Downtown Chattanooga/Cameron Harbor

Great property with beautiful views—everything you'd expect from a Marriott. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, which was exactly what we needed after a long day of travel. The pool, while not deep, was a good length for swimming laps, and the gym was basic but functional. The lobby featured a nice bar and comfortable seating area for relaxing in the evening. Only downside was the hot tub—jets pointed upward rather than out, which made it less enjoyable. Overall, a solid stay with the consistent quality and comfort you'd expect.

Great location and outdoor seating. Food was good quiet location on the river. Pool size and parking could have both been larger.

This hotel was a great find for a quick trip to Chattanooga from Atlanta. The river is just steps away. You can also walk over to Scottie’s Resturant which shares a patio with the hotel. Next time I will opt for a room with a balcony!

Loved this hotel and our room was nice ! The staff was friendly and everything was 5 star. Only complaint was elevators were down so had to wit lots with only one elevator working. I’d come back here

The pool and spa were closed. We drove two extra hours to get a pool and hot tub. We were told it stayed this on their website. It was not.

Very clean. Nice location on walkable River walk. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Building was well maintained. Nice breakfast. Only complaint was pool and hot tub were murky so we skipped them.

Hotel is great. Parking congestion has led them to charge $18 per night. Valet is available.

Bathroom door was broken. Shower leaked all over bathroom. Bed not completely made upon arrival. Very disappointed.

Great hotel.. we were staying for a couple of days in Chattanooga. It was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The hotel is clean and well-kept

Staff was awesome however our floors were not vacuumed making it an uneasy stay.

No cleaning provided during stay. Sheets not changed, beds not made. Had to request more clean towels and soap, otherwise, not replenished.

The room was not what we expected, although we had a river view it was partial and side on, staff was not able to get me a better room. No daily room cleaning is unacceptable!@

This property was just ok for me. The location was definitely the best thing about staying here. The breakfast was really lacking, and my family dreaded trying to eat there each morning. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, though they weren’t bad either. The room set up was very odd. The bathrooms have heavy sliding doors that don’t lock and lack privacy. The TV is situated so that it’s pretty uncomfortable to watch. The bed was kind of hard and squeaky. It wasn’t a bad stay, just not anything great either.

The TV Was small and the picture was awful and the furniture was dated. Breakfast time wasnt very long .The gentleman working in the breakfast area was awesome and very friendly. I was disappointed to have meat with eggs only 1 time my stay.very friendly maintance guy and very helpful with information.

The room was very nice but the bed was very uncomfortable the central air did not work very well and the view of the river that I had was not very good. The staff was as accommodating as they could be except for the young lady that was working the check-in desk when we checked in. She seemed like she could care less whether or not we were even there.

This was our 2nd time staying here and we love the balcony suites.

The stay was great. The only downside was that I paid extra for a river view room. While the room did have a river view it was obstructed greatly by the restaurant and the other half of the hotel. We checked in very late at night so the family was tired and I did not want to try and change rooms for the better view. View was somewhat important to me but it was more so important for my young children who wanted the view. So if booking a river view room ask for the rooms with an unobstructed view. Other than that room and stay was great.

Overall this is a good property in a convenient downtown location. Check-in clerk was an amazing. Check-in valet was good. Check-out clerk was messy, slow & away from desk for 10 mins when we went down, & no check-out valet at 5:30 a.m. so paying extra for valet services was wasted (hubs had broken foot which is why we paid for valet). Walls are paper thin & we heard every footstep & noise made above us, including every flush, shower, & faucet use. Our own walls to our own bath were very thin, offering no privacy. Neighbor left tv on all night but it wasn’t loud, we could just faintly hear it. The room was clean & comfortable. The carpets throughout seemed a bit old, but no tears. One elevator of two did not work. Housekeeping still had cart in hall at 4 p.m. but it was a Sunday so perhaps the weekend had been busy. I never saw a river view but I didn’t walk around looking for it. Our room looked out on other buildings, the valet parked our car, & it was dark when we left in the morning, but I’m sure had it been daylight we would have seen the river. It sits too close to the hotel to have not seen it. Breakfast starts at 6:30, so we weren’t able to use that feature either. In all fairness we were there purely as a place to stay close to a place I was having a medical procedure done at 6a.m. We just needed a clean room, a good night’s sleep & an early valet. The room was clean, the good night’s sleep was constantly interrupted by the neighbors above us, no early valet.

Property is clean, located in a nice location. Convenient to food options. Service could be better. I waited 10 minutes for the front desk service to get more blankets and no one showed so i had to give instructions to the front entrance gentleman. I give it 4/5 rating.

This hotel is a beautiful location but no where when i booked does it state you have to pay for parking at the hotel. The staff was not friendly, cleaner rudely banged on our door at 10pm to hand us towels we didn't request. When checking in the staff did not state when breakfast took place where the pool was or even the elevator. Valet parking was not to bad but the entire time we stay we never received the link to request our vehicle like they kept telling us to do.

I really loved the hotel!! We had a 5th floor balcony and the views were great. The Parking Is EXSPENSIVE and a Problem!! The room was nice but should have a lock on bathroom door. The pool and breakfast were nice. The front desk staff is very much in need of hospitality training. Upon check-in it is not clear how or to whom you you pay for parking. I paid with the app and then was told it would be charged to the room. So I was charged double even after I told the person at the front desk. The front desk staff is not welcoming or very personable. I felt like I was interupting thier conversation to check me in. I was made to feel as I was somehow bothering them. So overall my experience was great except for the parking and front desk staff.

Best staff ever! From Valet to Front desk we felt like family and friends. They went out of their way to help in anyway and were the friendliest staff ever.Scotties on the river was attached to the hotel and they had great food. The free breakfast was delightful every morning.

Conflict between valet parking and hotel desk guy. Made us feel stupid because we couldnt Understand the app discrepancy between the two companies. Tired of young people acting like you’re an idiot because you don’t know their technology. Wasn’t my fault. Turns out a desk clerk didn’t send the right code to the valet guy, blah, blah, blah blah blah just tired of it.

Great location on the Tennessee River bank! Views of barges and all types of boats and boat slips!

The view that this property offers by being adjacent to the riverfront was an added bonus. I will definitely stay at this property again

Located on the TN river with access to the river walk. Breakfast included was nice.

I always hate paying for parking and I really thought this was gonna a more walkable downtown area, but the hotel felt like it was in the middle of a bunch of rundown warehouses or student housing. We were able to walk a mile to where most of the restaurants were, but I had hoped they were closer. It was very easy to get in and out of town from this hotel, but stayed the second night in the suburbs near Hoover and ended up enjoying that experience much more.

Good choice for stay in Chattanooga. Good walking along the river close by. Close enough to walk to restaurants and attractions. Room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Parking not great but ok. Included breakfast was decent. Will stay here again.

Near the river and other tourist spots

Good location. Able to walk along river front. Short drive to central area and Rick City.

The hotel was exactly as described and shown by Hotels.com. The location was in walking distance of Ross Landing where they have free concerts during the summer. The restaurant food was good and the prices were reasonable between 10-25 dollars a meal. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Chattanooga and wanted to stay in the downtown area. Excellent customer and valet services.

Nice room, comfortable bed. We had a good view of the river. Breakfast was only fair. Scrambled eggs were not good at all.

The accommodations were as advertised. We were very pleased with the room and breakfast was very good as well.

The stay at the hotel was good but the breakfast was as terrible. Most of the hot food was cold.

The Staff were extremely friendly. The check in desk lady helped me out with splitting payments on 2 different cards. I really enjoyed the pool area with the kids. The breakfast staff was extremely friendly as well. I was disappointed with the breakfast as there wasn’t much to choose from, one of the days the oatmeal wasn’t cooked and the sausages were burnt and tasted like plastic. Overall good stay rooms were clean and big enough for our family.

Loved everything about this hotel! Perfect location on river, great dinner at Scottie’s, great breakfast, quiet room….we will be back!

Everything was excellent minus small changes we recommend for breakfast. Which is… please fix the second waffle maker and set them in a different location. It was a crowded little area that we never made it too because the food lines were so long. With them being in that location everyone was confused about getting in the three different lines. Only to find out that one waffle maker did not work. So we then had to switch to the regular food line. A sign or two on the wall for those who got confused, is needed to make it a little more clear. And, Once we made it to the front of the other line, the majority of the food was gone. Other than this small problem, the stay, staff, location were all excellent. We would definitely recommend.

Short two night stay in Chattanooga. The hotel was ok, the nightly parking fee is pricey at $18 per night. The restaurant, Scotty’s was excellent.
