Positive - Great front desk service. Cheapest hotel in town, allowed 1-hour early check in based on availability. Included continental breakfast. Negative - Outside was 98 degrees ("feel like" temp 105+). Room was very humid & musty (set at 75 degrees). Humidity was so high the towels felt like someone just used them after a shower. Pool was covered and didn't open all weekend. We set the temp to 68 and left for several hours. When we returned, room was more comfortable but still smelled musty.

Water stains ceiling with scotch tape holding together. Broken furniture. Inconvenient for walking dog. Stairs to pool were block off. Rusted stairs. Broken concrete walkways. Last day of our stay the faucet in sink quit working.

It is a dated property, but I have stayed in worse. While eating my takeout dinner at the desk, a sizable bug dropped into the container. I wanted to use the pool but the pool area was disgusting. There was many empty beer cans and bottles as well as a collection of cheap cigar wrappers and other garbage. There was an insane amount of trash, particularly empty cans and bottles all over the property. The breakfast was weak, coffee was ok. Clean up the property and get rid of the long term residents and you might have something.

This place is old and has a horrible smell like cleaning ammonia and insecticides that made us sick. Beds are old and sink in the middle. Our toilet seat was broke. A dirty washcloth was left in the bathroom floor. Bathtub is stained and dirty. Entrance door did not seal properly, as we could see daylight around the door frame. Bedspread had what looked like blood stains. Carpet was stained and wet. Checked out early and would not stay our full reservation.

The window was broken, the floors were so dirty that you couldn't walk around the room without shoes on without getting your socks or bare feet black, there were roaches and the room was in dire need of remodeling. The bathroom door scraped the floor when opening and closing, which made a really loud noise. The bed/mattress was extremely uncomfortable, so we didn't get much sleep and woke up hurting.

A no smoking room smelled like stale tobacco, there were dead bugs in the corner of the bathroom, hairs on the sheets, at least three flies, and the wireless was too slow to stream on my iPad.

Absolutely horrible. As soon as we walked into the room the smell was just stale cigarettes (non-smoking I don't think so). My daughter went to use the bathroom right away and couldn't close the door, I think the door had like 5 layers of paint on it and it was so sticky/tacky your hand would stick to it when trying to push shut. Door aside the dead bugs on the bathroom floor were disgusting along with the dirt/dust build up along the bathtub I don't think the floors have been cleaned for a while. We also had a handful of flies buzzing around the room. Finally the chair, I'm not sure what they were covering up but the oversized sheet/cover looked even more sketchy. We were maybe at the property for an hour and checked out. The amount of time it took to book a new hotel and start a refund process with Expedia (because we used a 3rd party site the hotel said they can't do anything) which went nowhere and we didn't see a dime back.

When we turned back the bed there was a live cockroach in the bed. The fitted sheet was WET! Told the front desk and she didn’t have a fitted sheet. She handed my husband a flat sheet. We stripped the bed and the mattress protector had blood on it. Made due with a flat sheet and took the girl at the desk the wet one. Told her someone obviously knew that was wet when they made the bed and she agreed. I normally only leave a good review or no review. This was too bad not to inform others. Do NOT STAY HERE!

We are not picky people we were tired and just wanted a place to sleep for the night. Had to go through three different rooms to find a room to lay our heads. First room, the doors wouldn’t unlock second room smelled of bug bomb and still had cockroaches third room was outdated and disgusting. There was urine on the outside of the toilet there was dirt and hair behind the bathroom door, the towels were grimy and the sheets look like they had already been slept in. The room cost 80 bucks and it wasn’t worth it on the plus side the shower was hot. I will not stay at another Days Inn again. Not recommend this hotel.

Not as nice as the photos. Check in/out was great. The guy at the front desk was nice and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The carpet felt grimy. The bathroom smelled very strongly of urine so much so that I opted to not shower. There were also quite a few bugs in the room including moths, flies, and gnats. The room smelled musty. The channels didn't work properly. There was a storm which may have interfered some, but some channels were fine while the others did not work at all. The sounds of trucks revving their engines was very annoying. I won't be staying again.

They property was in need of updating in general. The room was clean with no unusual smells, bed was very comfortable, the water pressure and temp were great. The room could use some updating, sort of stuck in the 70’s. Direct TV worked great. Breakfast was very limited. For the price I paid I can’t complain really. Great as a one night stay. Would stay here again if going thru Hannibal again. Check in staff was very pleasant.

I locked my keys in my car the night I checked, on my first day of vacation. Two states away from home and another 6 six hours to drive the next morning. It was a weekend. A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. The young man working the front desk that night truly came to my rescue, called and called until he found a locksmith willing to come out on a Saturday evening, the night after Independence Day. The double-whammy of weekend and holiday weekend almost guaranteed I’d be paying a very high price but somehow, that nice young man went to quite a lot of extra effort to find me a reasonably priced locksmith and directed him to my car when he arrived. I wish I had gotten his name, he really went above and beyond.

We reserved a room king non smoking and when we checked in the gal at the front desk verified that. When we got to the room it was a smoking room and smelled horrible. I went back to the front desk and a gentleman was on the next shift and told me because I booked through Expedia I had to take a smoking room. I left frustrated and about 10 minutes later he came and said he would move us but after us trying the new keys and him also the door would not open so he moved us again to a smoking room. Absolutely frustrating and he will not refund us.

2.5 miles from the interstate. Rough part of town. About a dozen people sitting outside our room when we arrived around 10:15 pm and sampling and using foul language. Staff was nice though, and we just needed a place to crash for the night as we were leaving early. Once in the room it was quiet and with our sound machine on we didnt hear much. Went to bed hoping our car and the things inside were safe.

We arrived to pizza in our refrigerator and the refrigerator was not on, so the room had a stench for most of our stay. The breakfast was limited and I got cream cheese only to find it was spoiled/curdled. The room had thread bare rugs. The carpet had a white substance on it. We asked for fresh towels because our first ones had makeup stains. The sink backed up the first time we used it. When we spoke with front desk staff they seemed aware of the issues but were indifferent. There was peeling paint on stair banisters. I requested a first floor room because I have a bad knee, but we ended up on the second floor even though it seemed like we were one of the few customers. The bathroom curtain had mold or mildew. The whole room looks like it was last updated in the 90’s. The last time the room was painted, they painted the furniture too. The desk was filthy and sticky. We were traveling for work and I had difficulty getting anything done because the room was so dark, with all light fixtures on. We travel frequently, but this is the worst stay we have had in years.
