Nice staff, spacious room, free parking, american style breakfast

We went to Denton to visit UNT. Stayed at this hotel for one night. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was quite good- many choices. The hotel is located right on I-35, so if you are noise-sensitive, ask for a room in the back of the hotel. They also included a white noise machine in the room. Nice touch! I used the gym in the morning. They have weights, several treadmills, a bike and a few elipticals. The equipment was clean and in working order. Would stay there again if traveling to Denton.

Great staff! Shout out to Rose and Michael! Other than the pool being out of service, everything was great for our 5 night stay.

Wonderful staff and stay! The afternoon and night staff especially were helpful and thoroughly explained the amenities. All the areas we went to within the hotel was clean. That is the entrance area, hotel room itself, the outside area near the pool, the gym, and the breakfast area. The room was clean and there was no sight of trash, debris on the floor, pests, or dust. I always do a cursory check through of the room when I come in, that includes pulling back the comforter, sheets and pillows, opening the drawers, fridge and microwave and checking the walls and ceiling for mold or mildew and found nothing unseemly. We were on the first floor closest to the pool and it was quiet throughout the night and morning. Parking in the back and front was easy to do and the area is quiet safe. It is walking distance to a Starbucks that is not more than a 3 minute walk away from the hotel and a huge Bucees that you can take a back way to. There was a Cinemark movie theater close (less than 6 mins by car away) and some restraunts nearby. This overall was a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying here again.

Hotel itself was very clean and the room was very comfortable. I was staying facing towards the highway and it was traffic was very loud. Also, the parking and driveway is not set up well. You can not circle the building and traffic was backing up trying to turn around.

It was great! Room and pool was clean and overall a nice comfortable stay for cheap!

The beds were comfortable. Shower no pressure and light flow. There was a baby cockroach in our room. Food ok. Staff very nice.

Everything in the room is very good. We like the convenience of having a night light, very comfortable beds, roomy bathroom. The room is also very clean.

The room was awesome for a short notice stay. They really managed the space well (there were hooks for our backpacks, a bench with space underneath to put our computer bags, etc.). Very clean! The staff was also awesome, very kind and wanted to attend to our needs/questions. I appreciate the stay and will keep in mind to stay again!

The cleanliness was a little concerning, especially in the bathroom. There’s was hair everywhere, which made the stay uncomfortable. Definitely needs better housekeeping attention.

The staff were nice and friendly. The only negative is the room was clean, but I still found random hairs (that weren’t mine) on the bed and in the bathroom.

Property is right on the highway it was so noisy I couldn’t even hear the TV!

I stayed here while attending a conference at the University of North Texas. It’s about a 10-minute drive from campus and perfectly situated near everything you might need. It’s right next to a Starbucks, just down the road from Buc-ee’s, and within walking distance to Chuy’s and BJ’s Restaurant. There’s even a Cinemark movie theater tucked just behind the hotel—so food, gas, and entertainment are all within a few blocks. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with excellent blackout curtains that helped me sleep well. A nice touch: my room came with a small sound machine, which is great if you forget to bring your own. Breakfast each morning was solid, and a big shoutout to Michael, who runs the morning meal like a pro—he truly makes it a highlight of the stay. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my visit. If you're a light sleeper, I recommend asking for an even-numbered room. The odd-numbered rooms face the interstate, and it can get a bit noisy early in the morning when traffic picks up. Overall, this was a great stay. I’d definitely return if I'm back in the area.

The room was very clean and the staff was outstanding! They were so very friendly and welcoming. The bed was so comfortable that I actually slept all night and that never happens!

We had to change rooms as the first room’s bathroom opening to the air conditioning fan had a continuous howl and you couldn’t stop the sound. The second room smelled awful and reeked of disinfectant cleaning solution as there must have been some stains somewhere. Also the shower had lukewarm water at best. We weren’t impressed with the room as it was average and cleaning was typical for a Holiday Inn. A good note, the front check-in staff were nice and quickly moved us to a different room but that one was just as bad. No refund was offered.

Everything was absolutely wonderful! The staff was so nice and they actually cared they we enjoyed our stay! After we checked in, they called to make sure everything was okay with the room. It truly made our day because it was our first time in Texas! We definitely will be staying at this hotel again someday! The price was really good too and the room was super spacious!

Great hotel! Starbucks, BJ Brewhouse, Chuys and Rodeo Goat all basically in the hotel parking lot! Staff is friendly. Michael, who ran the breakfast area was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed! Will stay again!

Wonderful customer service from the time we got there. The kitchen people were great. Everything was great.

The manager, Jean, was incredibly rude and bullying. She refused to have a reasonable conversation and just kept talking over me regarding an issue with payment. My card was run, and approved, at check in. However, I was told payment was not showing up on their in. I pulled up my account online and showed the receptionist that the charge was appearing in my account. She didn’t want me to have to keep running my card again and again, so we just left it at that, and she was going to look into it. No issues with checking out the next day. Then, I get a call the following day from Jean wanting to run my card again, showing non-payment. I told her the charge was still pending in my account, and I’d like to wait until the next business day to see if it actually posted before running my card for another $300. She wouldn’t listen. She kept talking over me. She told me I was refusing to pay. I let them run my card twice, even though it said approved the first time. I told her I was happy to make sure the bill gets paid, but she would not listen. She was incredibly rude and bullying through the entire conversation. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again, as I see this is how they train their managers to treat patrons. Jean should be relieved from her position. Obviously, she does not have the intelligence or tact to handle situations like this. I’m sad that a nice weekend with my family ended up this way. Do better, Jean. Do better, Holiday Inn.

Did not complete my stay at this property. Moved to another brand. Unprofessional isn’t even the right word, more like borderline illegal practices and psychotic management. Building is new and beautiful but the people are uneducated, untrained, and WEIRD.

Great rooms. Breakfast was excellent! Desk hostess Faith was very helpful. Expedia failed to schedule us for two nights so Faith extended it. Sadly we didnt get the price quoted by Expedia for the second night.

Right next to the interstate and moments away from three different grocery stores and tons of dining options several of which were within walking distance. A Starbucks in adjoining parking lot, a movie threater no more than four minutes away on foot, and a Buc-ee's right around the corner from the hotel when you're ready to fuel up and hit the road again.

The gentleman who prepared and kept up the breakfast buffet was super friendly and helpful! He went out of his way to make sure that my daughter and I had everything we needed to enjoy a good breakfast. We enjoyed the breakfast immensely.

This is recently built hotel. Everything was new, beautiful and well done. The room had a very functional layout. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast could have been better, as the biscuits and bagels were hard. The gravy was good. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

Location was great for us. Enjoyed overall aesthetics. Breakfast was great. Staff was very kind and courteous. Only problem was that one of the luggage carts had a busted tire. Please fix that.

The breakfast was good but ended too early. I also look forward to hotel waffles but they only had pancakes. They were good but not the same. Otherwise, it was a clean place with friendly staff. It was a good stay, but it would have been better if breakfast was served until 10am.
