The hotel has gone out of its way to provide all sorts of thoughtful items in the room from guide books to a sophisticated coffee machine to fruit and other snacks outside the door. The rooms are lovely and the location could not be better. I highly recommend.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. Perfect location - walking distance to restaurants, shopping and all the main attractions of Catania. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The parking valet service offered by the hotel was convenient for us as we had rented a car. We had a wonderful stay here!

Absolutely Marvellous! I had the pleasure of staying for two nights during a longer trip to Catania and Aci Castello. The staff were superb. Remarkably welcoming, helpful and knowledgable. The property is well maintained, very clean and had plenty amenities for its size. The bedroom had everything (and anything) you could need - a great hairdryer, flipflops, slippers, robe, full set of bath gel, shampoo, conditioner (Etro no less!), comb, toothbrush, earplugs, eye mask, umbrella, super espresso machine, kettle, the list goes on. The bed was very comfortable with plush linen. The television was great, with access to Netflix and Prime. It has been respectfully and tastefully restored, but has all of the modern touches you would expect. A real touch of understated luxury. Having left the Romano Palace because of cleanliness, I couldn’t have been happier with my choice! Location is second to none. Undoubtably the best place I have stayed in Sicily. I will certainly be back!

The minimalist check in area does not prepare you for the stunning, museum quality guest rooms, full of original antiques like a crystal chandelier and baroque moldings, with views of the central cathedral and city square. Bath products of very high quality. Staff very helpful.

We would not got back to Catania. You can't escape the smoke of the people and the city is so dirty and painted with graffiti. We hid out in our room I am so glad we only stayed one night in this city as we almost had planned to stay two. The hotel does not have an elevator to get your luggage to your room and the stairs are so small you will be scared going up and down them. We would not stay in this hotel or area again. Its a historic hotel and I can tell that they try but we were not impressed. The room we stayed in did not look like the pictures.

The room was stunning: high-ceilinged, well-lit, and beautifully restored with an eclectic, old-but-new vibe. Our hosts would show up with cappuccinos and other necessities within minutes of the request, and their recommendations for restaurants and other sights were impeccable. We only stayed for a night, but could have spent our entire vacation at the Palazzo Marietta. Thank you all for such a wonderful stay!

This place is a gem! Wow we were impressed! This is a historic 17th century (I believe 1693) building with renovated modern hotel. It is adjacent to the Duomo but tucked away in a quiet street nearby. The staff is amazing from Renato to Alessandra you could not ask for better service. But what blew us away is the restoration of this majestic rooms (I believe only 7 rooms). Breakfast was included in our rate and we could choose from amazing Sicilian treats and we selected the breakfast the night before. Then in the morning the amazing breakfast was brought in pushable service table that was beautifully decorated. Delicious! Highly recommend this wonderful place! PS they also organized transportation to airport

Our stay here was amazing we were blown away by both the condition of the property and the service we received. The great service started prior to our arrival when Davide reached out to us with various recommendations from transportation to restaurants. Upon arrival we were greeted by Davide who gave us the run down on the hotel and the area and offered more recommendations for our stay. The room and hotel itself can only be described as breathtaking, a small hotel packed with charm and history while still providing a modern feel. Our stay here was amazing we were blown away by both the condition of the property and the service we received. The great service started prior to our arrival when Davide reached out to us with various recommendations from transportation to restaurants. Upon arrival we were greeted by Davide who gave us the run down on the hotel and the area and offered more recommendations for our stay. The room and hotel itself can only be described as breathtaking, a small hotel packed with charm and history while still providing a modern feel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we experienced perfection thank you!

Before leaving from the US, we would have rated this hotel 5 STARS!! Renato, Serena, Simona and the rest of the staff were amazing and answered our questions minutes after sending an email. They helped with restaurant reservations, recommended sites to visit, where to purchase a SIM card, delivery of an item we ordered, driver pickup from the airport, parking our rental car in a safe location the night before departure and coordinating our car delivery morning of departure. The hotel has so much history and it was explained upon arrival. Location is perfect!

Palazzo Marletta is an excellent hotel with modern amenities, very comfortable and pleasant to stay in. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke English very well. My wife and I had a great stay. The hotel is on the edge of the main square and there are plenty of excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and shops to browse in. Hotel is only 20 mins away from the airport.

This place is a gem! Wow we were impressed! This is a historic 17th century (I believe 1693) building with renovated modern hotel. It is adjacent to the Duomo but tucked away in a quiet street nearby. The staff is amazing from Renato to Alessandra you could not ask for better service. But what blew us away is the restoration of this majestic rooms (I believe only 7 rooms). Breakfast was included in our rate and we could choose from amazing Sicilian treats and we selected the breakfast the night before. Then in the morning the amazing breakfast was brought in pushable service table that was beautifully decorated. Delicious! Highly recommend this wonderful place! PS they also organized transportation to airport

What a lovely place! I was lucky enough to get a room last minute (airport closed), and the welcoming and friendly staff improved my mood immediately. They were very solicitous and suggested a great place for dinner and breakfast. I would stay there again!

Palazzo Marletta is the perfect setting for visiting Catania. You are within walking distances of the must see sites. The entire team took great care of us. Excellent service in this boutique heritage hotel. We were able to get early check in which was great. Location fabulous right off main square. Great for relaxing before or after an international flight... only 15/20 mins to the airport (better than staying at the airport as you can explore downtown Catania easily from the hotel). Large room, beautifully appointed with super comfy bed, desk, lounge chairs, huge TV, great lotions, slippers/flip flops, turn down service. HIghly recommend. There is no elevator to the higher floors (not allowed in heritage building) but staff will help carry luggage up and down if needed. 10/10
