They have some kind of high tech lighting system in the room that was glitchy. They worked on it for about 2 hrs after we checked in. Finally got the lights to come on by changing out a switch box the next morning. Only had 1 light the first night that we could get on. The bathroom light. After the switch was changed out, there were still some lights that did not come on. The staff was friendly, and tried to help, but the hotel was full up, and they had no other rooms available. I’ve never been in such a small elevator. Opted to take the stairs. Thankfully I was only on the 2nd floor.

Booked unseen, relied on previous reviews. Hotel is small (family owned I presume). 5 minutes walk from airport T2 tram stop at central station. And 5 minutes walk from Duomo. Rooms very comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was a surprise. We were expecting coffee & croissant. But there was a lot more. Between 17.00 and 18.00 they also offer cakes etc. Also we asked for restaurant recommendations - very satisfied.

Best AC in Italy. Very comfortable, very cute, zero noise in the room, great location, perfect for Florence. Concierge extremely kind and helpful she hand wrote on our map all the places and best routes along with restaurant recommendation. The wine room is nice to take advantage of and complimentary evening Aperitivo. We will stay again!

We had an incredible stay at the Frame, from the service to the views, to the location. I truly cannot wait to stay here again. The front desk booked us an incredible meal at Buca Mario and overall made our trip memorable. Highly recommend!! Don't forget to try the breakfast and the wine cellar, both were great.

Location is great, rooms are large and clean, very quiet, friendly staff, breakfast was good but not amazing, ac was great and cold. The wine cellar experience downstairs is overpriced and wastes money so I’d skip that. The outside room jacuzzi should be removed and that area revamped into a nice sitting nook with maybe a simple water feature. Overall though really great value.

What a wonderful hotel! We truly enjoyed our stay and found it to be excellent from start to finish. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, the room was impeccably clean with nice amenities and bath products, the breakfast was the star of the show with a comprehensive selection and amazing coffee. Would 10 of 10 stay again and again!

The room was very nice and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfasts and nice service from all staff who went out of their way to recommend best restaurants nearby and best gelato shops. Great location in center of town close to all major sites.

The front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful and was kept spotlessly clean, and I really liked the touchpad system for lighting so any combination of lights can be controlled from either bedside. Excellent location for walking to anywhere in Florence, and no street noise in our room! Hotel breakfast was good but not much hot food for 20€. We were supposed to receive a free bottle of sparkling wine and unfortunately didn’t realize until our last day that we had to ask for it (was not mentioned at check-in, and we didn’t ask sooner because we thought it would be put in our room at some point during the stay).

This hotel was amazing! We don't know where to start when it comes to say how much we loved this hotel! Right seconds away from the Duomo, it was breathtaking! The rooms were very clean and the clean service was phenomenal. The staff were very friendly and recommended the best places to visit and eat! Every single one of the front desk receptionist we met just made our experience at this place even more welcoming and enjoyable! thank you again Frame!! and we look forward to seeing you again!

Bathroom towels are need replacing due to overuse. There is not really an excuse for not maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. Rooms are very small.

The room was very nice for our family in terms of space. 2 levels. Rooms were clean. Carpet upstairs could benefit from replacement but temperature controls, terrace and large shower upstairs were really terrific. The breakfast is wonderful. Lots of options and very friendly staff. We were able to check in early which was so very appreciated. The location is amazingly close to everything. We were able to walk to everything including the train station. We will definitely stay here again.

Ideal location - close to the Unita tram stop from the airport and equally close to the city centre. Nice building with well equipped rooms. Free water was a nice addition as most hotels don't really provide water. Very nice modern room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and large (queen room). TV had very little in English but you are not there to watch TV. Wifi was also a bit variable - often breaking. Very friendly and helpful staff - all English speaking. For a queen deluxe I did expect a slightly larger room but was OK.

excellent location and extremely convenient for both the main train station and the Duomo but the room was very tiny and no frills. We had trouble getting the air as cold as we wanted. Elevator was tiny. I don’t regret the stay because the location was prime but it didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel.

I rarely write reviews for anything unless something truly stands out, and The Frame hotel does. Fantastic guest service, particularly from the concierge who checked us in. He went above and beyond in showing hospitality, even going so far as to book a reservation for us at the last minute at a popular restaurant. Additionally, excellent accommodations in a perfect location. Very close to the duomo and the train station. Despite being in the center of everything, no outside noise could be heard. My only complaint was regarding the controls for the water in the shower/bath being needlessly confusing (some Myst puzzles are simpler). Overall an excellent hotel that I’m excited to stay at the next time I’m in Florence, and the staff are incredible and helped make our trip perfect.

Only thing that wasn’t exemplary was getting into the shower. Was a bit problematic because door open towards the inside not to the outside. Was a little issue that could be fixed by fixing the shower door Opening. It was otherwise fabulous, and super clean, and as pictured. Free water and easy access was much appreciated. Loved it! Thank you!

Had a great experience at the Frame hotel, located conveniently in the heart of Florence. The hotel staff Daniel was wonderful and made our stay better than we imagined. We liked our room and the amenities. Very clean and the refreshments on floor 2 were appreciated. I would stay here again! I only wish the WiFi was a little more reliable.

The level of service and attention to detail was top notch! From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by Martina who had a smile on her face the whole time and made us feel welcome. She was extremely helpful throughout our entire stay along with the rest of the staff. The hotel is in a prime location and I would highly recommend for those visiting Florence anytime soon! Thank you again!

We arrived a little early and our room was ready ahead of time. It was small as expected but very clean and functional. The standouts of our stay was the location as we could walk to all the places we wanted to check out. The second aspect was the exceptional staff that made several great recommendation and even called a restaurant on our behalf to make dinner reservation. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

We stayed at the Frame Hotel May 13 to 20, 2024. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The check-in experience was friendly and informative. Our room was beautifully appointed. The bathroom had a spacious shower with all of the amenities. Breakfast plentiful, fresh and friendly service. The hotel was immaculate and quiet. Staff provided excellent recommendations for dinners and activities. We loved it!

He went above and beyond in showing hospitality, even going so far as to book a reservation for us at the last minute at a popular restaurant. Additionally, excellent accommodations in a perfect location. Very close to the duomo and the train station. Despite being in the center of everything, no outside noise could be heard. My only complaint was regarding the controls for the water in the shower/bath being needlessly confusing (some Myst puzzles are simpler). Overall an excellent hotel that I’m excited to stay at the next time I’m in Florence, and the staff are incredible and helped make our trip perfect.

Step out of the discreet entrance and look to you left and you see the top of the duomo just steps away. The location is wonderful and while it’s in a busy part of town, your room is quiet! Our room overlooked the city but we rarely heard street noise or noise from other guests. The hotel is clean and the front desk staff are accommodating and eager to help find dinner reservations or access to museum tickets. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and had pretty wooden floors. The artwork throughout the hotel is different versions of Mona Lisa. Contemporary and very fresh- we loved seeing how the artist created her in creative ways that made us enjoy the mix of new with in the beautiful old building. We would definitely choose this hotel again for a stay in Florence!

The location of The Frame Hotel is absolutely perfect – right in the heart of Florence. Everything is within walking distance, including fantastic restaurants, cafes, and shopping. It had a modern, stylish design that made it feel like a true retreat after a day of exploring the city. The only downside was the bathroom, which was on the smaller side. Great location. Walking distance from most of the top attractions of Florence. In 10 minutes or less, you can walk to the Duomo, the train station, the Mercato Centrale, or the Piazza della Repubblica. In about 15 minutes you can walk to the Galleria dell'Accademia, the Piazza della Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizi, or the Ponte Vecchio. The staff were friendly and attentive. We liked Daniel at the front desk. We stayed at the Gioconda suite, 269 sq ft, but it was split level, so the space taken up by the steps reduced the effective area of the room. Bottom line, it felt really cramped. But it's a fair trade off for the convenience of being in the center of the city.

Ideal location - close to the Unita tram stop from the airport and equally close to the city centre. Nice building with well equipped rooms. Free water was a nice addition as most hotels don't really provide water. Very nice modern room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and large (queen room). TV had very little in English but you are not there to watch TV. Wifi was also a bit variable - often breaking. Very friendly and helpful staff - all English speaking. For a queen deluxe I did expect a slightly larger room but was OK.

Location is great, rooms are large and clean, very quiet, friendly staff, breakfast was good but not amazing, ac was great and cold. The wine cellar experience downstairs is overpriced and wastes money so I’d skip that. The outside room jacuzzi should be removed and that area revamped into a nice sitting nook with maybe a simple water feature. Overall though really great value.

We loved staying here. The staff was efficient and friendly always. The location can't be beat, only about a 6-minute straight walk from the train station. The Duomo is 2 minutes the other direction, and so many restaurants and shops around it. We were impressed that we couldn't hear any traffic noise from our room at the front of the hotel. A lovely experience, we'd stay again!

What a wonderful hotel! We truly enjoyed our stay and found it to be excellent from start to finish. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating, the room was impeccably clean with nice amenities and bath products, the breakfast was the star of the show with a comprehensive selection and amazing coffee. Would 10 of 10 stay again and again!

Booked unseen, relied on previous reviews. Hotel is small (family owned I presume). 5 minutes walk from airport T2 tram stop at central station. And 5 minutes walk from Duomo. Rooms very comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was a surprise. We were expecting coffee & croissant. But there was a lot more. Between 17.00 and 18.00 they also offer cakes etc. Also we asked for restaurant recommendations - very satisfied.

Great service from hotel staff and room was comfortable and clean - the soundproof windows were awesome. The only suggestion would be to have hot items for the breakfast. Every morning the scrambled eggs were cold. Hardly any fruit cut up on a tray. We ate toast and jam every day but paid for much more.
