Good hotel for the price. Friendly staff, decent hotel for the price. Room entrance through hallway, not to exterior. Heated pool with spa— decent condition (fine for young kids who just wanna swim). Spacious room.

This property is a “You get what you pay for” kinda property. Over all not terrible and worth the cheaper price. We would stay here again, it just wasn’t the best. Cons- 1 elevator was down, ice machine didn’t work on our floor, I stepped on a broken beer bottle chunk upon entering our room, and the bathtub drained very slowly. The area around the hotel was not nice and definitely don’t encourage stopping anywhere to close by. That said we never felt unsafe at the hotel. Pros- Price, bedding was clean, staff was very nice and friendly, continental breakfast was nice, AC in the room was nice and cold, and even with many guests staying we didn’t experience excessive noise, also was only 10 minutes from UA where we were visiting.

Never again at this place. The hotel was great. Clean and quiet with a large parking lot. The problem that will prohibit me from ever staying there again is because they charged me an additional $100 at check-in for possible room damage, in addition to the cost of the room which I payed weeks before arrival. I called about that 3 days after my stay and was told that I would receive that money back after several days. It's been 5 days and I still do not have my money.

Bathroom was disgusting. Paint peeling off ceiling, moldings around floor cruddy filthy, caked up dirt in corners on flooring. Blood spatter on wall near sink, moldy around tub. Furniture was old and worn, appeared to be dirty. Sofa bed mattress covered with several, I’m assuming, urine stains. I stopped looking after that afraid of what else I might find. Noise level from interstate was high. No sound proof rooms.

First let me start by saying the staff were amazing! All staff were pleasant, kind and easy to talk to. We felt like we had made some friends! However, the hotel is nice but there are a few drawbacks. We started off in one room where the AC had a high whining sound so they moved us rooms. Our next room had a shared door and unfortunately we were moved to the family row and we heard babies crying through the night and kids running all around us. The walls are just thin. The cleanliness was a bit of a draw back too. The shower had lots of hair in it, and the floor needed a good vacuum, we had crumbs and hair sticking to our feet. There were a few live roaches near the AC we had to kill, we were on the 4th floor so I don’t believe these were just from outdoors/rain. Overall, the hotel is nice, but some details have been overlooked.

Room was ok but not very clean and the breakfast was ok but the eggs were cold and when we complained they said the owner would not buy new ovens to keep things hot. Owner of this hotel is letting things go down hill and not keeping it up. Staff said they have tried to correct the problems but owner unwilling. Sad because it is a nice hotel looking at it from the outside. Would not stay here again!

The bathroom was not well cleaned and the sink was stopped up with A LOT of gross back hair. I cannot believe anyone who cleaned the sink ran the water or it would have backed up too.

Reserved a room with two queen beds. The rooms were on the smaller side, but the bathroom was of a reasonable size. The main concern was the mattresses, which were excessively firm and uncomfortable; they didn't conform to our bodies at all. However, we appreciated the continental breakfast with a variety of cold and hot food options. The room itself was clean.

The lady that checked us in at the front deck was rude. We had our service dog with us and she tried to tell us that our dogs service badge was not real. After we got checked in she would just stare at us like we was not welcomed if it was up to her. Other than that our stay was great.

The hotel itself is pretty good, room was clean, bathroom was clean, AC worked. The customer service was not good at all! Upon arrival I checked in and got my room and proceeded to the 3rd floor and when exiting the elevator I could barely get out because all the luggage carts were left abandoned right in front of the elevator doors. I went to my room and when I got there my key was working but the door was locked from the inside because they gave me a room that was already occupied! I’m sure I gave those people a scare as I was trying to enter the room at 11:30 PM! I then went back down to the front desk, where no employee was anywhere to be found. I waited 15 to 20 minutes before somebody finally showed up and gave me a new room which was not occupied, thank goodness. Too many times I went to the front desk and nobody was ever there to assist. Nice hotel but customer service needs help!

Check in was very easy. The staff was nice. The smoke detector kept chirping in the room and we couldn’t sleep. My spouse called the front desk and an employee said they would come up and fix it. They never came so she had to go down to the lobby and get an employee from the front desk to come up and fix it. We did not sleep comfortable in the bed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Checkout was very easy.

The staff was exemplary!!! Everyone was so kind, helpful and welcoming! We loved everything about our stay! Location was great…easy to get to the University and was safe and well lit. We will make this our usual stay now when in Tuscaloosa!! The breakfast was ready hot and early! 10

Not easy to get into and out of, but once you find the right road it’s fine, staff was so helpful, sweet and accommodating, it was clean and comfortable Complains:, fragrance in most areas was overwhelming to me, I have allergies , and there was no gluten or dairy free options for breakfast; this should be addressed, more and more people are having diet issues, eggs would have been fine but cheese was added so it couldn’t go on our plates, only option for me was a piece of sausage and a fruit cup, this is an easy fix

I booked this hotel last minute. I had to call, as it was after dark, to find out it is in the same entrance as the Comfort Inn. The room was great. It advertised a continental breakfast so I wasn't expecting much. It was a full breakfast, and the best one, of the 6 different hotels I've stayed at along this trip.
