****BEWARE NO ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGERS** The hotel advertises that they have electric vehicle chargers and when I ask the front desk they said they were sorry but couldn’t help me. The front desk person told the manager who was talking to a friend and said we have been advertising that for years but we don’t have them. I asked if they could help me find one and the manager rolled her eyes and turned back to her friend. By the way I went to another hotel who helped me.

As a Christmas request for my 4 year old nephew to be in a pool when I come to visit, I booked my stay at Comfort Inn. When we checked in, the reception heard his excitement to be in the pool and informed us the pool at that location was closed and made arrangements for us to be at a neighboring location. Because I prepaid, no rate change... just a 8 minute drive. Me and my nephew enjoyed our stay in the heated indoor pool, every staff member greeted us politely with attentive and care, everything was cleaned and had a relaxing atmosphere. Without a doubt, I will return on my next visit with my nephew.

Everything was great today Neil the kids decided to go swimming. The pool was black and smelled of rotten fish. Which is sad because we are looking for a place to be our constant every year for gymnastic camp and until I saw the pool I thought we had found that.

Overall, the guests and breakfast service were the highlight of this property. The staff were all very professional and created a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The only issue I encountered was the condition of the pool—it was very green and dirty, making it unusable during my stay. I hope this is addressed soon to ensure it’s safe and enjoyable for future guests. Aside from that, my overall experience was positive, and I truly appreciated the hospitality and service. I would consider staying here again if the pool is properly maintained.

Great location. Close to the restaurants, and then a quick drive to campus. We arrived around 10 pm and the lot and area was very well lit, and there was a security guard present at the main door. Traveling as a female with teen girls, I felt very safe! Hotel is new, was clean and spacious. Breakfast a great bonus! An overall great stay for the price!!

Great price, very spacious room with a cook top, fridge and microwave the bedding was slightly pilled, pillows way too soft. Pool was closed for maintenance Really Nice staff unfortunately, and not their fault, major construction going on outside.

Ups - Good Price. Generally well kept and a decent little breakfast. Staff were very courteous. Location was GREAT! Downs - A/C unit was caused the floor to be wet near the window. Pool light broken and the pool was green. Kids couldn’t swim after very hot days.

We arrived at the Comfort Inn late in the evening after a very long drive. Even before we opened our hotel door I was concerned about the cleanliness. An ancient Hoover vacuum was sitting in front of our door. Why? I can only guess the cleaning staff got distracted? Upon entering the room we were hit with a nauseating smell. Think dirty bleach water with an under tone of mildew. Yes, now you know the smell. It was so strong it permeated the whole room. I would have changed rooms, but it was late and we had a meeting early in the morning at the University so we just wanted to go to bed. The floors were sticky, the bathroom still had mildew spots (thus the overwhelming bleach smell) and the room felt unclean BUT the sheets were clean and out of the 4 hotels we stayed at that week the Comfort Inn had the most comfortable pillows and bed (My opinion could be bias considering how tired I was)! Now let's talk breakfast. I was up by 6:45 for breakfast. You'd think breakfast would be hot at that time if it starts at 6. You'd be wrong. Eggs were ice cold as were the sausages. Overall not a great stay. I'll avoid this one on any future travels to Tuscaloosa.

I often stay here when visiting my daughter at school. The breakfast is always good. Usually the rooms are very clean. This time there was a nasty, hard stain on the carpet right by the bed and there were ants on the night stand.

We walked in and the room looked okay, but our AC was leaking to the point our whole floor was soaked. We put a towel down under but it didn’t help. Our shower was full of hairs (and definitely not ours), and the bathroom floor was slimy and extremely slippers. The pillows were extremely flat, and we wouldn’t not recommend or stay again.

This hotel is a budget hotel. Very bare bones and simple with inexpensive fixtures and furnishings. It was updated, thankfully. Unfortunately my room was pretty dirty. There was hair everywhere. Hair was on the toilet seat, in the toilet bowl, on the toilet tank, on the counter, and on the edge of the countertop. The toilet tank was dusty AMD clearly had not been wiped down in quite a while. It really disgusted me and made me Leary of the rest of the room.

The hotel staff was friendly. The room looked clean, but when I went to take a shower there was a dirty used Q-tip sitting in top of the towels. I also noticed hair (not the kind on your head) intertwined in the thread of the towels.

It was very conveniently located, walking distance to the Riverwalk, bars & restaurants. Very quiet. Excellent, friendly staff. Comfy beds and the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. I would definitely stay here again!!

This property was outstanding! The staff is extremely welcoming and very nice! The hotel was Very very clean! They provided everything we needed. They have an indoor pool which was very clean just had a bit too much chlorine. I showered 3 times after taking a dip in the pool and my skin and hair still smelled like chlorine. They provided a continental breakfast and has lemon water to drink! Huge plus. The facilities were very clean and I felt comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and I had a good night’s rest! Will definitely be staying here again.

4 visit. The hotel is clean and comfortable, staff pleasant. The walls must be thin. This is the second time Nextdoor room had loud TV until very late. Tub fixtures very loose and dripping. Breakfast foods were cold and eggs were not replenished.

Close to UA. Newer building. Good breakfast. Walls are super thin. Could hear person snoring in adjacent room on one side and TV blaring through the wall until late hours on other side. Room was close to elevator and that was loud too. Maybe spread people out if the hotel isn’t full.

Our room was very large! Sink, counter, cabinets, 2 burner stovetop, a fridge much bigger than most -- maybe 4.5 feet tall with separate freezer & fridge as you walk in. Two sinks in the bathroom, 2 queen beds, and a sofa bed. The sofa was "L" shaped and was more comfortable than the pull out sofa bed. My daughter slept on the long part of the sofa rather than the sofa bed. There was also a table with 2 chairs, a desk with a phone & notepad & pen, a nice desk chair and plenty of places to plug in devices to charge. The room also had a closet with a suitcase holder & ironing board & hangers and also a padded bench to sit on. We had room 402 and it has a huge space in it -- probably 20\' × 8\' of free space - from foot of beds to desk one direction (8ish ft) and from counter & fridge by door to back wall by a/c & window (20\'? 24\'?). Wonderful!!! We enjoyed the breakfast as well: scrambled eggs, bacon, instant oatmeal packets, cereal, bagels, muffins, breads, waffles you can make, juices, coffee, milk, etc. Comfy beds, too!!

Staff were PHENOMENAL. The ladies that work in the lobby in the mornings are beautiful people. So kind and helpful. Even the housekeepers said greeted us with a smile when we walked by. Always a genuinely pleasant interaction. Best customer service I have experienced in a long time. The only issue I had was the air conditioner leaked water so the carpet was pretty wet, all the way to the bed. Honestly, I’m leaving this review because I forgot to let them know about it when we checked out lol

Have stayed here multiple times since its opening! Very nice staff; located on the edge of downtown with easy access to a multitude of restaurants and bars. The rooms are very clean, as is the bath. Only complaint is my bed was a bit soft but not a sleep kill. Nice comp breakfast!

Large room with king bed. Great location near campus and easy access to everything. Felt very safe. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was excellent- Angel at breakfast area went over and beyond. Breakfast seemed fresh and well stocked. Wish the ice machine in second floor was working but easy to take elevator down to main floor to use one there. Parking lot well lit and lots of space available.
