Hotel was comfortable with friendly staff. The shower was very nice with good pressure. If you like a nice hot tub, beware this hot tub did not function properly. I never could get the jets to work and the water was extremely hot. Like too hot. Also there was a strange odor in the room that is hard to explain. I don't think it was me. There is really nothing around the hotel either. So overall it was an 'eh'.

When we checked in we were not greeted. The rep at the front desk only said sign this and you are floor 2. Nothing more. Our AC did not work in our room. By the time we woke up in the morning it was 81 degrees in our room. When we told the front desk the night of arrival the AC wasn’t working she was not concerned nor was the front desk staff the next morning at checkout - only saying someone was on their way to work on it. The hot tub jets also were not working. Kids did enjoy the pool. Disappointed in our stay to say the least.

The reason I gave this property five stars is because of the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Good choice if you are traveling with dogs, there is plenty of green space and a pet relief area. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant food was good. They have some nice outdoor common areas with a fire pit. The rooms to appear to be older and could use some updating, but they were clean and comfortable. The reason I only gave three stars for property condition and facilities was because the pool and hot tub were both closed. Not a major concern for the purpose of my stay. Will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Mostly clean except carpet in room seemed sticky underfoot, had to wear sandals or it felt gross and feet black, everything else was clean. Beds were great, pool and hottub were clean but hotub felt like it was 105 at least, way too hot to get in.

The stay at this hotel was good overall - plenty of parking, sanitized lobby, clean room, plenty of channels. The restaurant is very convenient as well. My only issue was with the shower because the drain stopper was either broken or insufficient for properly draining the water while we were showering. Nobody wants to stand in a tub full of water while getting clean.

The hotel property was very clean with plenty of parking. The hotel was extremely clean, room was great and all the personnel were very helpful and nice. There is a dilapidated building right next to the hotel that is not inviting at all and takes away from the hotel itself.

Check in was smooth. Room was spacious and clean but remote did not work for TV. We Planned to get a drink And watch Basketball game in bar and grill but it was closed, so we decided to go to hot tub which was not working. All in all a very disappointing experience!

It was a beautiful property and the restaurant was quite good. The lighting in the room was horrible. The lamps were way too bright, and you could only turn them on or off. It was borderline unbearable. So we had them off, and used the light coming from the bathroom.

Would not stay here again. Our key cards never worked when returning to the room. Had to get them reset every time we returned to the hotel. The staff seemed used to this happening and never once apologized. The desk staff was pleasant except for the one guy we kept getting. His hair covered his eyes, he spoke too fast and too soft to hear. Then he got annoyed if we needed something repeated. Only one luggage trolley in the whole hotel. Ice only on floors 1 and 2. We were on 4. Only 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth in a very worn out bathroom. Bed was so close to the outside wall that one had to walk sideways to get on the bed. HVAC unit under window was so close to the bed my feet touched it every time I got out of bed. 3 of 4 lights did not work over the nightstands.

Came to Jeff City for the State Pen Haunted ghost tour. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, compared to other Holiday Inns we’ve stayed in. The beds were extremely comfortable. So much so, my friends took pictures of the mattress labels for themselves. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were friendly. It was close to everything we planned on visiting, and should we go back we will definitely pock that hotel again.

The hotel is still new so there were no issues with cleanliness and everything in our room functioned as it should. But unfortunately the service was terrible. We were made to wait almost 2 hours past check in time to get our room bc it wasn’t clean. We were initially told it would be “10 minutes” then told by the employee at the front desk “it could be less than 10 minutes or more than 40. I have no idea.” It was definitely more than 40 minutes. We also asked for an extra blanket. We were given the rattiest blanket, it was literally falling apart. Breakfast options are advertised. When I asked about breakfast times, I was told they may have a few breakfast sandwiches behind the counter they could sell us. Yeah, no thanks.

I accidentally booked a room in the wrong city (my mistake) through a third party (again, my mistake). When I realized that I made the wrong booking, I reached out to both the hotel and Expedia. I called the hotel and the staff member told me that there was nothing they could do and there were absolutely no refunds. When I called Expedia, the representative contacted the hotel on my behalf to try and cancel the reservation for a refund. Again, they weren't cooperative. I didn't have the funds to not use the reservation, so I ended up commuting 40 minutes each way to get to the hotel from where I was for the weekend. Then, when I got to the hotel, the bed in my room looked like someone had sat or laid on it. There were families on my floor, and I could hear everything from inside of my room. I understand that the booking was my mistake, but I've never dealt with such an inability to accommodate. It was so inconvenient and I wish that I could have stayed near my family.

The Holiday Inn was quiet and clean with courteous staff. There is not a lot of scenery when looking out the window but I wasn't there for the view. Even though right off the highway, I slept well all three nights. Especially for the price, I will stay here again the next time I am in Jefferson City.

Pretty typical HI - I've never stayed at a bad one. Convenient location, close to downtown. Breakfast is not included, but you can save a few dollars and pre-pay for the buffet at the restaurant on site. It was pretty average. If I were to go back, I'd take my chances finding a cool diner on the outside to get breakfast instead.

The hotel was in a convenient location to the highway. And close to everything downtown that we wanted to do. The beds were the absolute best. If i could have figured out how to of gotten it in my suitcase, they would have been short a bed. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. I will definitely stay there again.

The room and public areas were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was tasteless and cold. Restaurant opened at 7am on Sunday as stated on door entrance...but large poster in hotel lobby states 6am. When fact was mentioned to staff they answered, "yes, it needs to be updated." We had paid for 2 breakfast meals expecting the 6am opening. As a result my husband had to miss his meal as he had to leave for an early meeting. Disappointing.

Hotel was clean. Lack of "amentities" - ie two towels per room, free coffee (no cream), full service restaurant, no free breakfast. For this price of room, usually there's a free breakfast. Ample parking. We were busy with other things, so didn't use other amenities.

The staff was great and I appreciated them. Originally my room did not have a microwave but they accommodated me and brought one up to the room. The food at the restaurant was not the best. They were supposed to close at I believe 10pm but when I went down at around 840 they said that they were taking their last order. I did end up getting food. It was difficult because they didn’t take Apple Pay but thank God I was able to charge it to my room because I didn’t bring any cards with me. During that first night, there was someone that was so loud outside of my room that woke me up several times in the middle of the night and I had to work early the next morning. That part was horrible but after that it was okay. I spoke with the front desk and they said that they were gonna try and find out who it was but I didn’t hear anything. I was exhausted. The location was clean and I appreciate where the Diamond parking was at. All of the staff was awesome as well.

Everything was acceptable, except for the breakfast buffet. The front desk told us what was available, and the sign outside the restaurant mentioned the breakfast buffet, but when we got inside, there was no breakfast buffet. The server told us there were not enough guests to set up a breakfast buffet, and blamed the front desk for not letting us know.
