We stayed in the Carriage House and it was awesome! Very private, clean, bed was comfy. Three sided fireplace and jacuzzi tub made the night. The house was nice and were able to see 3 of the 4 suites which was nice. The only thing that was different from the dozens of other B7B's or Inns we have stayed at is there is no interaction/getting to know the owners.

No staff on site - missed that homey feel. Loved the two way fireplace. Self coffee area was nice but needed end of day decaf options and tea options.

The Aurora Staples Inn is a fantastic B&B, one of the best. The accommodations in the St. Croix Suite is spectacular, with antique furniture, in room fireplace, huge suite space, and amazing linens and decor. We appreciate the hassle-free checkin, host greeting, and the ease of parking and location to downtown. We will stay here every time we visit Stillwater.
