The Greens Hotel on Stockton

It was just ok. The staff was nice to us, and the room was clean. However, there was no shampoo or soap in the shower. That was true for all three rooms I rented. My wife didn't like the smell of the room, but I think that was just a personal opinion; I was ok with it. The gated location was nice.

Parking is secured because of gate but lacks security. The room was not clean and the supplies were simply replenished from the previous people staying. I actually had to grab my own personal cleaning wipes to simply wipe down the counters and fridge that I was going to be use for our stay. The floor was not cleaned but simply had been swept.

Some of the friendliest hotel staff I've seen,v and the place was excellent except for one thing. When we went into the bathroom for the first time in our room there was a slight smell of sewage. We turned on the bathroom.exhaust fan and ran the shower flushed the toilet and closed the door. We went out for lunch and by the time we came back it was fine. The staff of the hotel were some of the friendliest I've ever seen at a hotel. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.

This was one of the worst places my husband and I have ever stayed. We just needed to stay one night before driving more than seven hours home, and it was so bad we got dressed and started driving by 2:30 a.m. There was a constant dripping water noise that kept us awake. We first thought it was the extremely loud HVAC system, but after we turned it off we realized the noise was coming from behind the building. We made the mistake of using the shower, which resulted in more dripping water after it was shut off. There were rude people staying nearby that had their children running outside past midnight. Don't stay here.
